Galtier has attempts to make a different strategy yesterday apparently losing Neymar does any affect for PSG performance and during the match i didn't see any good opportunities for PSG players to scores goals and before the match begin Galtier know the quality of Bayern players and he was used 5 midfielders to reduce the aggressiveness of the Bayern midfielders but the strategy doesn't run well and PSG eliminate without scoring goals and although PSG changed coach but there were no progress for them in this competition even they were repeat their last season achievement with not able to qualified to quarterfinal 2 times in a row

If you look at today's match, PSG actually played not without an attack. It's just that Bayern Munich's defense is very tight. Moreover, Matthijs de Ligt's appearance in Bayern Munich's defense made him very strong, Bayern Munich's goal was safe from conceding. PSG seems to need a lot of changes next season to qualify for at least the quarter-finals of the Champions League, playing without or with Neymar is unlikely to make a difference to today's results.

No doubt Galtier missed Neymar in the game last night. but i expect messi and  mbappe to turn things well in the attack line. but they could not deliver psg to the quarter finals. is a big shame for Galtier, he cant use this squad to win Champions league then there is squad he can use to win it again.

i think in the next transfer widom, Mbappe may leave for madrid or manchester united. the reason he stay at Psg has been defeated already. he is arm was to win Champions league with Messi effect. but since he could not achieve this season , he has to think twice.

With or without Neymar PSG had no plan during the game, they had Messi and Mbappe while even one of these two players could be enough for a team with a proper tactic and that's what PSG doesn't have, I think their weakness is not about players, it's about their coach for not using the player well, also they lost the last match at home and obviously they had not much chance for this game at Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich were really relieved by beating Psg.  I expected a better match from psg but they failed to do so.  Mbappe can carry a team on his own, but his playing style just didn't suit him.  Psg was not very insistent to pass the round during the match.  Bayern Munich got a clean win.

I'm wondering:

how much longer will it take tottenham management to put in another coach

this season totteham for some time even looked like they would achieve something big like winning something, but even with good players the team has not brought good results, their attackers have not been able to score goals frequently and the defense has become a disaster, the need to hire another coach, but i think this time they need to put someone who knows premier legue well, about milan i also think they need to make big changes like:

- change coach
- bring in new players

this is not a result that surprises people, I believe that most people already expected this, everyone can see that PSG are a disaster and that they need a good coach

Conte is a great coach, I would not change him, especially since the 1/8 finals is quite a decent result and in the Premier League they also have good chances to finish the season in the top 4, so everything is not so bad.

Conte is a great coach, I would not change him, especially since the 1/8 finals is quite a decent result and in the Premier League they also have good chances to finish the season in the top 4, so everything is not so bad.

Conte is a good coach for domestic leagues as he won some titles from Italy with Juventus, Inter Milan to Premier League with Chelsea. However, he is not good for Champions League as so far he did not achieve any big milestone in Champions League with some big clubs (Inter Milan, Juventus, Chelsea) and likely he is unable to change it with Tottenham.

Tottenham in reality are not competitive enough in Champions League. They are good but not too strong and I think it is more realistic for Tottenham to focus on Premier League and try to win it. In Champions League, many bigger clubs are stronger than Tottenham and they have more experience there than Tottenham too.

It's fair to consider his performance in Munich is under average. He should look at himself before requiring too much from PSG and his team mates.

PSG have good players like Messi and Mbappe in attack, but they can't do much as long as the midfielders don't have space and good creativity to organize attacks. While PSG have also struggled in defense due to Marquinhos' injury, it has caused their defense to be in trouble. Their squad depth is lacking even though they have Messi and Mbappe in attack.

Frankly, I can't get PSG in good form when they don't get top quality out of midfielders. A defeat like this proves the quality of Bayern Munich's players, even though previously I expected PSG to qualify for the quarter-finals. Specialists are still specialists, Bayern Munich is one of them.

PSG is a team of big players with 0 sinergy. When they met a similar calibre of opponent with good sinergy they are eliminated, same last 4years. If PSG wants to win needs to focus on building team around sinergy and less big names a less big egos in team.

I also can't stop thinking about PSG, especially in the Champions League because PSG have always failed in the Champions League for years and have even been beaten by Bayern Munich in the 2020 Champions League final. So actually I wasn't that surprised when I saw Bayern Munich able to beat PSG yesterday at home to Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League this season.

Even though I am amazed and can't stop thinking about PSG because the PSG team is a team that has a lot of money and has some great players so that almost everyone sees a clearer potential in PSG, but all of these things are not a good influence on PSG in the League Champion.

Right, winning and losing is commonplace in a match. It's just that I want to say, that last night PSG played badly. the first goal, purely a defender's fault and it was Verratti who was responsible for the goal. even though PSG had the opportunity to score in the first half, the opportunities PSG had could not be maximized properly. also, great save from De Ligt.

In the first half, PSG pressed a little more on the game and even Bayern only relied on counterattacks. even so, the performance of Bayern Munich's defense was really very disciplined and solid, they were able to break every attack built by SPG. unfortunately, PSG's players found deadlocks every time they built an attack. I want to say, PSG's midfield players are really not creative to help their team's front line and every transition they make is really bad. meaning, the system that Galtier implemented in this fight was not effective. Meanwhile, positive results were achieved by the home team. I really appreciate the win over PSG, because they deserved it. also, the system implemented by Nagalemann is effective. and yes, with this win. Bayern is one of the strong candidates in the hunt for the Champions League trophy.

You are right that in the absence of Neymar, Messi movements will be easy to read. Because on the front line, Messi will focus on feeding the ball to Mbappe as well as what Mbappe will do in the penalty box when he has the opportunity to pass the ball. So Bayern Munich only needs to close Mbappe's movements and guard him with several players. What's more, with Nagelsmann installed 3 defenders which means it's clear that PSG front line is unable to make room for Mbappe or Messi. Meanwhile, if there is Neymar automatically there will be 2 more effective options for launching attacks. Muller had said in the pre-match press that they would keep Mbappe busy on the pitch in tight control.

Tottenham could not qualify yesterday night despite them needing just one single goal to get to at least to additional time and then to try and go further.I think that this is the maximum for Tottenham as compared to Milan they lack completely the experience for such high performing competitions.

In fact it was exactly the experience that Milan has in this competition which they have won many times that gave them the qualification yesterday night,still I bet on Tottenham and lost my bet but I like to back up the runner up and not the favorite in such competitions.

AC Milan play well, they played very nice in the defense, typically Italian. With the minimum they did it...only scored 1 goal, but it's enough. The tactics of AC Milan in the game, in the defense block everything and in the attack only in an emergency try to score a goal. Bayern Munich and AC Milan are now in the next round, and for Italy it looks good. Inter Milan must play vs Porto and won the first match 1:0. SSC Napoli plays at home against Eintracht Frankfurt and won the game 2:0.

It doesn't matter a lot even when totenham was changing the coach for hundreds of times and the result will always be the same. Totenham didn't have the mentality to win the prestigious trophy like EPL and UCL. This club is also rarely winning carabao cup or even FA cup. Totenham was just a team that will be playing as an ordinary team in EPL. There's nothing special about totenham. Totenham was almost winning EPL a few years ago but leicester was able to surpass it.
Totenham was a mediocre team for sure. Its trophy cabinet makes me laugh. All of the efforts already done by totenham to win the trophy but it's not as good as another team like fulham.

Some key players of totenham must leave from the club if they wanna ever win the trophy. Kane will get nothing if he decides to stay even longer in the club. Milan has been doing so well if you were watching the match. The only problem is milan's striker is not so good as giroud is too old.

PSG 0 - 2 bayern

Many people have been predicting it. The lost against bayern has been making messi has more bad record against bayern. It seems like that bayern is a team that knows about how to prevent messi to dribbling in any direction. Messi just like disappear during the match.

Bayern Munich in yesterday's match confirmed that although they do not have stars like Messi or Mbappe in their squad, they are a better team than PSG. Bayern seem to be one of the main favorites to win this edition of the Champions League. It is worth noting that Bayern played 2 matches each against teams such as Inter, Barcelona and PSG, and still the only team that managed to beat the goalkeeper of the Bavarians is Viktoria Plzen.

The organization of Bayern Munich is built differently. They lack Manuel Neuer including a conditioned Sadio Mane, but the Bavarian powerhouse is too well-organized and composed. Julian Nagelsmann is an excellent manager. With its enormous budget and still a long way to go before winning the UCL, PSG is once more in question. I assume that one or two of the big three will soon be shipped.

There is no guarantee for a team that is rich and inhabited by many world players in the Champions League. This season, again, PSG has to bite their fingers and have to bury their dream of winning again.

For Messi, this failure was a bad record for him, because Messi, for the first time in his career, had failed to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League twice in a row. He never felt this bad record when he was with Barcelona. Messi will also end his contract this season, will there be a massive exodus of players at PSG as a result of this failure? Like Mbappe and Neymar who are also likely to leave Paris.

But what is clear, PSG must rebuild a new mega project. The PSG president must reorganize team management and also hunt for new players as well as coaches who are qualified and have experience.

I didn't see the version of PSG that I expected. They had Mbappe and Messi both on the field from the beginning but this still wasn't enough for them to be more effective in scoring goals. They still had struggles and Bayern Munich were there to benefit from those opportunities in a great way. Bayern Munich could have even scored more goals than that. After this result I'm just expecting Galtier to be sacked at the end of the season. They have said goodbye to the Champions League very early in the end and this title was their main target.

Yesterday's match between PSG and Bayern Munich was a great match. Last match PSG vs Bayern Munich was played in that match Bayern Munich won 0-1. And in this match also won with PSG 0-2. I expected PSG to win this match but it was not possible. Despite having Kylian Mbappe and Messi, PSG lost the match and everyone was disappointed after being knocked out of the Champions League. ALL PSG fans are all disappointed with the outcome of yesterday's match, though I am not a PSG fan, I had high hopes for them, I expected them to win but unfortunately, Bayern Munich proved once again to be a more stronger and well codinated team.

I give it to bayern though, their win yesterday was as a result of hard work and much practice, they deserve it, and I honestly wish them well in all of their coming games, PSG should learn from their mistakes in yesterday's game and play better next time.

Benfica, AC Milan, Bayern Munich & Chelsea qualify for the next round. Still waiting for the other 4 teams to follow, but I think the opportunities that qualifying is Madrid, Man City, Inter & Napoli. If Inter & Napoli success to going to the next round, Serie A will succeed in delivering 3 of its representatives.

For Inter is not save for now, since their aggregate only 1 goals, if lucky enough, they can follow AC Milan with 0 - 0 score.

They didn't play too bad before a personal mistake from Verratti. With experience he had with PSG and Italy after many big matches, he should handle that situation more carefully. He can simply kick the ball out of the box area to eliminate risk and pressure from Bayern. However he decided to pass through pressing of Bayern in a very sensitive and dangerous area for his team. The rest of story is a conceded goal for PSG and with two leading aggregated goals from Bayern, it's the end for PSG hope.

After this result I'm just expecting Galtier to be sacked at the end of the season. They have said goodbye to the Champions League very early in the end and this title was their main target.

Galtier is a wrong coach for PSG and he even didn't complete his job well in Ligue 1. In Champions League, it's outreach of his ability and PSG can not wait for his upgrade. Likely they will sack Galtier at the season ending and look for another coach. Mourinho, Ancelotti are two experienced coaches and already won Champions League in the past. Will PSG try to contact with those coaches in the summer?

this is a game between two teams that are very close, for that reason the result of the game is very unpredictable, in this case I prefer not to bet on this game, but looking at these two teams I see that it will be a game in which both teams scored goals

In my opinion, this is a fairly even pairing, with almost equal chances of victory for each team. Tottenham are playing at home in their own stadium, but Milan have the advantage in terms of goal difference and can play on the counter-attack. I think this game will be difficult and will not decide the winner. The teams will play to a 1-1 or 0-0 draw.

Milan rarely meets Tottenham, but from the head-to-head history that can be seen above, Tottenham wins more in their meetings than Milan, playing at home to Tottenham is not an easy match for Milan, the pressure that will be put on by the Tottenham players is definitely very big.

My prediction was correct. Tottenham could not take advantage of the home game and Romero's suspension benefited Milan. The match was boring, although there were some interesting moments. And we did not see any goals.

I didn't watch the Tottenham and Milan match, but I'm not surprised that Milan could get through. Tottenham have been playing very poorly of late and lost not even because of the red card but because of poor attacking and defensive play. If you believe the match stats, Milan were better all round, although they couldn't score either. But they had a win in their first match, so they did their job well.

Still waiting for the other 4 teams to follow, but I think the opportunities that qualifying is Madrid, Man City, Inter & Napoli.

I second this. Real Madrid already have a three goal advantage, and the second leg game is at the Santiago Bernabeu, i don't see any chance in hell of Liverpool overturning that deficit, the more likely result would be Real Madrid coming out on top both home and away. Leipzig travel to the Etihad to face Manchester City, the German club had a very good first leg tie, and they'll be looking to build on that, but i think City would be too strong for them, they have to win the CL this season, as such elimination in the RO16 stage to Leipzig is unacceptable.

Having said that, Napoli should comfortably see off Frankfurt in the second leg, they already have a two goal advantage coming into this home game. The game i am not so sure of is Porto v Inter, yes Inter have the advantage, but it is a slender lead, and Porto are at home in this second leg, thus with their fans they might get back into the game and prolly go through.
