After watching how Scotland got thrashed by Germany yesterday, I think Albania might be the next team to concede a lot of goals when they play against Italy. Being the weakest team placed in Group B, all of the other 3 teams will want to earn points from the hands of Albania and they are surely going to be playing offensively against Albania right from the start of the match, I guess Italy will be able to beat Albania easily today.

Italy are the current European champions, so it is clear that they will be among the favorites, and not only in this match but most likely in the tournament. But this time they have a very difficult group, due to the fact that Croatia held a not very good qualifying tournament for the final part, we have three teams in this, that are very strong. Spain, Italy and Croatia each have an equal chance of making the playoffs. And while Spain will play Croatia, Italy needs to take advantage of this and win against Albania.

Looking back at Germany performance, the composition of the players was better and today Germany enjoyed the match. Bringing the maximum score with overall no resistance from Scotland. Scotland didn't have a single shot on target and that gave Germany more freedom on the pitch. The difference in strength is clear, in group A Germany will definitely not experience any difficulties.

Undoubtedly, Germany's win was expected. But I don't think many people expected them to score five goals against Scotland. It was an enjoyable opening game. I hope the rest of the tournament will be as enjoyable with many goals as this match.

If Albania's resistance is strong enough against Italy, Spain and Croatia, of course Group B will not be a hellish group for Albania. But if Albania is not able to put up a tough enough fight against the three teams you mentioned, it doesn't feel like Albania is in a more appropriate group because it will definitely concede a lot of goals to those three quite great teams. However, it is always important for every team not to underestimate their opponents because in every match there are always unexpected results.

We are still in the first half, so there is a chance that Hungary may still get at least one point from this game. And in a short while the match between Spain vs Croatia will start.

It's crazy to see Germany this year and it's so far from what they've shown before. They destroyed Scotland's defense so easily and made them unable to do anything throughout the match. Manuel Neuer was seen not moving much considering the lack of attacks from Scotland. The situation got worse after one of the Scottish players received a red card which meant they only played with 10 players.

However, despite all of that, I am still amazed by Toni Kroos' performance because out of 102 passes he succeeded 101 times and only failed once. I still can't believe that a player as good as this who changed the flow of Germany's tempo will soon retire and I still don't think he wants to leave football at its peak.
