Italy - Spain: the match was quite boring, I didnt like it at all
also I dont know about you, but to me Italy seemed like a scared team, without character, without the desire to play
I dont know if they continue like this I dont think they can go far

Fortunately in this match there were no pure goals only own goals, but still Italy's game was boring, there was no character where they were a great team while Spain was more superior from all directions, we saw this match a little annoyed to see Italy's game.
We know Italy still have a chance in the last game of the group stage but if they play like this with no more pressing attack I doubt it will be a win.

Italy pattern of play is always so dull and boring and if you check at their previous records of matches you will know that their game is not always interesting to watch at all, even when they have good attackers but yet they don't make much impact in most of their matches which is very bad of the team even though they have a better defense but football is not always about trying to play a defensive pattern all the time but playing an entertaining football that viewers and fans will find very interesting to watch so they should try and change that pattern of football it's as boring as hell.

Italy's next game is against Croatia, I wonder if they can even win them because Croatia also has a good squad but they have not really proven their capacity so far because they lost their first game to Spain, had a draw with Albania and now they are to face Italy but i doubt if Croatia can stand Italy so the match may as well end in a draw or Italy may win.

Mbappe is of course the guy who can make a massive difference in any game. I mean they still have a team full of world stars, but no team would like to play games of such an importance without the best striker in the world. Though the game against Austria was quite disappointing despite Mbappe. Winning that game with an own goal is not enough for a team of that level.

But almost all games are much closer than most here thought. Look at England and how everyone here thought they would dominate. Denmark was even better than England, not by much, but still... I don't understand why England plays so poorly and is not able to create dangerous chances. On paper their team looks incredibly strong with Foden, Bellingham and Saka as their midfield.

There has been no goal so far, I was expecting at least a goal to be scored in the first half, the first half is not over yet, we are heading towards first half extra time. Mbappe's absence in this match was a big disadvantage for France. They cannot use their most important weapon.

France would have already been leading if not for that big miss by greizman, but as you said France is definitely the better team in this game and I must say they have well improve their playing performance today other than their first game in which they performed so poorly in that match and narrowly escaped.

Both teams had difficulty in final execution in the penalty box, the Netherlands with the selfish Gakpo and France both had big opportunities, countering each other's attacks, France even almost scored a goal in the 13th minute when facing the goalkeeper but yes Rabiot always looked bad. Based on the first half, the Netherlands excelled in high balls, while France excelled in low passes which were effective in penetrating the opponent's defense. Several times France made passes upwards but the tall Dutch back line was clearly able to handle them easily. The rhythm of the game was quite intense, ball control was balanced so in the second half we should have been more aggressive because we were required to get 3 points.

Griezman movements were very limited because he was closely guarded, he had difficulty escaping Van Dijk control. France must immediately field Mbappe so that their attacks can be sharper, relying on Dembele and Griezman alone is not enough to penetrate the strong Dutch defense.

Group E proving to be a group of surprises, first it was Belgium falling at the hands of Slovakia, and now if they keep their lead against Ukraine the bookies favourite this means qualification is secured and it's up to Romania or Belgium to fight for the remaining place which I believe team Lukaku will deliver because this would be embarassing for a top team like them to be left out.... though Romania might have the advantage thanks to that superior goal difference!!!

To be honest I am impressed with Ukraine. The team is playing wonderfully well. At the start of the game when the first goal came from Slovakia I thought it would be difficult for Ukraine to equalize and talk more of winning the game. However, it came as a surprise when I came back to check the score line and Ukraine was already on top.

By the look of things, Ukraine will likely qualify for the next round, because it will be a tough one for Belgium while Romania will not stop either. If Belgium fails to win the next game, they are certain to be kicked out of the competition.

The chance of England failing to get out of the group is pretty slim, but it's there nonetheless, they should lose at the very least and Denmark should win. Overall the England team is good, but I didn't like them in the first game and in the second one, it's as if they didn't play with each other, which is why the result is so boring. Last game they won by the smallest margin, but this one they couldn't even win

The England team should have won their today’s match to be free from any form of disqualification from the group, they failed to beat Denmark despite having one of the best wingers in the competition, they draw to Denmark after a lucky win against Serbia in their opening match. I am not confident with the England team’s performance, they have failed me because I expect more than this from them because they are my favorites in the tournament because three of my Arsenal players are playing in the team.

Spain on the other hand did a wonderful job by defeating Italy 1-0. Own goal from Calafiori has given Spain upper hand to finish ahead of Italy in the group stage. Italy still remains in the second place because the two teams behind them played draw, therefore, as expected, Spain and Italy should all qualify to the next round.

Well, they let you down as a fan, but what's worse is that they only let themselves down, because the way forward is only possible through a win or a draw, there is no way to lose, because then there will be an unpredictable storyline. Overall, I have little doubt that they will go further, but then? What will happen to them in the play-off stage? With such a game they will not be able to go further than 1/8, not to mention any mystical victories, which they want so much

Tough first half, with lots of interesting actions from both sides, yet maintaining brilliance as they have both defended very well. Couple of chances have been thrown away by Griezmann, Rabbiot, and brilliant saves from the French goalkeeper to deny both Jeremy Frimpong and Gakpo.

Dutch side I'm backing are not doing so bad, they just need to score a goal now. Players like Xavi Simons, Memphis Depay has got to be substituted for sure during the second half, they're not in this game. Dutch side lacks experience in midfied I must say as they should be missing Frankie De Jong and Donny Van Dee Beek.

Virgil Van Dijk is doing well, he has been very solid in the first half. Saliba and Dayot Umapecano are also improving. Wout Weghorst would likely be a game changer, I'm expecting a goal from him.

Poland vs Austria
 Poland will really find it difficult to win this game against Austria especially now that the away side is leading by three goals to one. Starting the game on a very high note only to resume second half and start playing with fear. What will you expect of an Austrian side who were beaten by France other than to not only defend their lines but also press to ensure they get three points from this game to enable them have a shot at playoffs.
 For me, I think Poland will have to seat this one out since I clearly don't see them coming out from this one, drawing their first game with Netherlands and losing out on this won't in any way help their case.

Poland no longer has a way to get to the round of 16 because of the 2 matches they played, they didn't get any points at all. Meanwhile, in the last game, they had to play against France, which I don't think is a match that Poland can win, even it is still quite difficult for Poland to get a draw against France. Poland made the mistake of giving Austria a lot of space in the second half (whether it was because of their strategy or because of their lack of stamina), so that Austria had more opportunities to penetrate and score goals.

To be honest, it is over for Poland because allowing Austria to win them was the worst thing that could happen to them. I actually expected them to do better than they did, at least they would have won Austria if they planned to qualify even through best loser. At this point, it is not yet clear who will qualify between France, Holland and Austria who are all standing at three points with Holland playing goalless with France at the moment. There is serious pressure on Holland from Dembele even when Mbappe is not playing at the moment. If Holland is able to stop France from scoring, then they might secure an automatic spot at the knockout stage.

I also didn't expect Ukraine to be able to turn things around as they were miserable in the first half and kept getting aggressively pressured by slovakia, but that might have been a mistake even though slovakia managed to get a goal in the first half but they lost a lot of energy for the second half so that Ukraine could have more space to retaliate when they were in a weakened state, this might have been planned by the coach, but I am still very impressed with slovakia's game despite losing.

And the next match in group E is Belgium against Romania who beat Ukraine, this will be a pretty interesting match too and bet on who wins the match, because we know how Belgium's track record is they are pretty good in football, but I feel a little doubtful for this season, maybe Romania gets another victory, and collects points to 6 and Belgium gets 0, or it will be even more competitive when Belgium gets a victory and group E has teams that have the same points of 3.

No matter the score line that the Euro 2024 is given us, we still need to acknowledge that England and France are still good teams. In this tournament most times the score line does not colorate the effort of the team and the quality of that team. And also we need to put into consideration the nations that are playing against each other. In the case of England we have already known that Denmark has never been an easy nation to beat in any international competition and this can also be said about Netherlands. If you check the Netherland squad you will understand that it is almost equivalent with the France squad. So, names do not play this football but quality does.

Projecting Germany to be at the final is not wrong, however I see it as an early attempt of prediction which could actually change before the end of the tournament. However German is giving their best in this tournament and they might likely produce the best player of the tournament in the person of Musiala

These are two strongest teams in the group, so they could as well end this with a tie. These two are going to move out of the group anyway. The thing that matters more for the Netherlands to win against Austria and this is going to be a more equal matchup, so greater probability it will go either way, although France is doing worse in this current match than I expected them to.

This could've easily been 1-0 for the Netherlands with that last goal the judges decided to ignore.
