Even though Italy suffered a lost against Spain but they are quite lucky as Albania did managed to force a draw upon Croatia and this will help to boost Italy chances in claiming the 2nd spot at Group B when they play against Croatia in their next upcoming match.

It is not a good sign for Ukraine to concede 3 goals against Romania in their first match as it shows they might be struggling with their defense, I think there is a high possibility for Slovakia to score another surprise victory against Ukraine today as the players of Slovakia are surely going to be playing this match with high confidence after they beat Belgium in their opening match.

Spain won against Italy has great importance because Italy is good team and the players of Italy team are very hard working and they struggled to win this match but Spain did one goal. I will appreciate to Calafiori who did goal for the country and his team won due to his efforts. For France, I feel they'd find it difficult getting a goal scoring opportunity after they could not utilize the opportunity they got through Rabiot and Griezmann in the early hours of the game. After that, they have been having their chances blocked by Netherlands. Frankly, I don't expect less in this game because both sides will be looking to overpower each other and as such if it ends like this, it won't be a surprise as both will qualify for playoffs at the end of the day.

These are two strongest teams in the group, so they could as well end this with a tie. These two are going to move out of the group anyway. The thing that matters more for the Netherlands to win against Austria and this is going to be a more equal matchup, so greater probability it will go either way, although France is doing worse in this current match than I expected them to.

Well the game has been nothing but pure brilliance from both team and all I could say is that France has improved atleast better than their first game. I agree when you say Spain's win was important and deserved, but only disagree when you say Italy fought to win. I don't think Italy is playing to win based on what I saw, they are playing to not concede which means just aiming for a goalless draw. Spain tried various ways to win the match, luck came with Riccardo Calafiori's own goal.

Poland will really find it difficult to win this game against Austria especially now that the away side is leading by three goals to one. Initially I only considered Spain to be under some big national teams like France or England but seeing the situation that occurred in the 2 matches they are currently running it seems that I have to revise my opinion because indeed for the euro now they are quite good. Not only in terms of performance but in terms of goal productivity they are also quite good so far.
The young players that Spain has provide a new nuance and a different pattern of play compared to the previous title because for now it seems that Spain prefers to direct pass or attack with the speed of the players rather than the tiki taka scheme that has always characterized them in the previous few seasons.

It indeed a strong match to take side the winner despite France seems to have uper hands over their opponent team Netherlands but the Netherlands side isn't a team to disregard. It obvious that it was a difficult thing to believe that non of the teams wouldn't have scored even a single goal because these two countries are known for their goal scoring capabilities and majority of people expected goals to have water-fall in this very match.

With the way he dislocated his nose in that incidence against Austria, it was highly unlikely for him to start or even play even though he was given a mask. I doubt they will have been able to win if he had played because even though he's a good striker, he's been known to waste good chances in his time at PSG and also for his home team.
Netherlands had one goal tonight and it was to either win the game or end in a draw cause that will give them a good edge when they play Austria next. Two games with four points is better than nothing and I'm a bit assured they will try to win that game and it will be an easy one of they play the way they did tonight against France, not letting themselves get intimidated.
 
One will say Netherlands were able to press France because of Mbappe's absence but for me, I'd say they were successful because of team spirit.

Personally I think that mbappé's absence in today's match has something to do more than the mask propaganda. That guy was obviously injured and we know how sensitive they knows is especially when you have to make some speedy runs like mbappé does. I also think that it will make no sense for France to force kylian mbappé to continue to play in the group matches when they can reserve him for the knockout stages by that time he will be healed totally.
Producing an face mask that is within the rules of Eufa shouldn't be a problem for a country like France. So I refuse that it is because of provision of mask that made mbappé not the future in today's match.

That being said I have never anticipated and easy match for France when they will have up against the Netherlands. I haven't forgotten so easily how strong did it allows were during the last time euro and even the World Cup. So if I say that the match actually met my expectation, I am not exaggerating. The game was tough and the result was never expected, it's kind of unusual how the Euro is going this time, the least results expected always now begins to happen, the big teams up there are now beginning to fail to perform according to their ratings. Even if these big teams win at times, it happens just so fortunately with an awful fight during the play time.

While tomorrow match is yet uncertain, Portugal have quite the best possibility of winning tomorrows match as they have a good record in the tournament and for sure Belgium are winning their match.

It seems Poland felt reluctant after scoring their equalizing goal because I don't see any way Austra had won them after putting such a performance in the first hand. I am confused in Group D because right now all of the teams in Group D have equal points thereby using goal differences to top one another. No team yet is certain to qualify for the next round until the end of the last meeting which should be next week. In other Groups, some teams have secured a slot in the next round and some team's faith has been decided that they won't qualify for the next round while in Group D it is totally different. All the countries there have two points generally.

You are right, we are expecting some goals in this match especially from the French side but unfortunately there were no goals and both teams chose to play it safe. Now France and Netherlands have the same points and Austria in 3rd place is 1 point behind meaning Austria could catch up at any time or are these 3 teams certain to qualify for the next stage? I don't understand why from each group there are 2 and 3 teams that will qualify for the next round.

In other matches Ukraine managed to get 3 points today this means that competition in Group E is getting fiercer Romania, Ukraine and Slovakia both have 3 points while favorite teams like Belgium have not yet got a single point, but yeah Belgium still has 2 matches left which means the opportunity is still there.

Its too boring watching the super big match teams in Euro after both team can't scoring any one goal yet and almost 90 minutes only has few shots on target. I am expected with super big match between Netherland vs France will score many goals but France with ball possession dominance more than 63% only had 3 shots on target.

But indeed even though they are better than what they showed in the first match but for the match at the euro this time France still cannot show anything where their finsihing is still the same bad as the first match and they are more wasting the opportunities they get.
I think this is not very good even though they are one of the candidates for the championship but seeing from the 2 matches they did it seems that our expectations should be slightly lowered.

France is just like England where they are very favorite but their matches are still very monotonous in my opinion.  With this situation if in the end the coach cannot develop the game scheme and the French attack pattern is still the same, it looks like we will see a new champion and certainly not France if their performance continues like this.

If it is in terms of improvement, I'd say Netherlands were the more improved side given that France were the favorites to win the game. Netherlands came from behind to win Poland in a well fought game in their opening leg and despite not having the kind of squad the French side has, they were still able to stand their ground in this game.
 Granted, the both sides had their fair share of chances but in terms of utilizing it, Netherlands passed France.
It will be too much of an expectation to expect a goal fest considering the both sides are big teams in their rights so it's only fair to end it with both of them sharing the spoils.

France had chances, they couldn't convert them. Rabbiot was first, the other was Griezmann as they was both closet to scoring a goal this night.

Indeed it a game of tournament because France really tried their best to take a lead but Netherland really pushed harder to make it unbearable for France, Mbappe is really a great play which I respected so much with the way he plays, I will say is absent really affected the team victory even though they are others to replace him but his present will also make the opponent scared and uncomfortable. Netherland has have it to the pick to  end the France victories against them, I was impressed with the Netherland to share the points together with France, now the are equal in point, their next match will be tough one.
