It will take long time to become a global currency as it is not popular at a moment and once it gains popularity it will become more powerful in future but I don't think it can become global currency.

Bitcoin isn't yet a global currency, unless you mean that it could be used worldwide so yes that's true. But it's still need more advertising and support from the Bitcoin's community as many people don't know anything about it till now.
yeah bitcoin scattered in many countries around the world. but for a number of users still very small This certainly can not be said as a global crrency. because there is still a little adopter need a long time to reach it

Bitcoin really can't become a global currency cause bitcoin can't beat dollar now. Maybe in far future bitcoin will but now limit is "global crypto currency".

I'm sure it will. It's just a matter of time. Bitcoin is growing in popularity, and might be even used as a side currency somewhere in the future.

I think advertising is gonna make disaster than getting support from people. Because mass adoption will make more user move from other payment gateways. This will attract the government which is not good for the growing technology which is decentralized.

Advertising will bring good to bitcoin ofcourse there will still be some people that will doubt bitcoin and will still not use bitcoin even though its being advertise.

I would say bitcoin has always been a global currency since the 1st day it went live. Think about it no matter where you were in the world as long as you had an internet conection and knew at least one other person with a wallet then you could send coins to each other.
Obtaining coins in say 2009 would not have been easy from most countries so i guess you could say that is becoming global.

the thing is... Bitcoin is already a global currency. Aside from Bitcoin only gold can be compared to a global currency. Bitcoin is the perfect toll for international transactions
I think it is still very young to say that bitcoin is an international currency? bitcoin still under paypal and gold in the movement of the market each year. so bitcoin still need to progress more rapidly again to be a global currency. global currency must necessarily be greater than the dollar right ? Yes, currently dollar is a global currency and if some other currency want to be the global currency it must have to be necessarily more greater than dollar.

We all know that bitcoin has a potential to grow in future but not that it can replace dollar very easily, dollar is the strongest currency of all and really difficult to imagine that any crypto can replace it in future.

At it start it has global potential, but since a few years it has become globally used. Which means progress. In the future years to come i expect this to grow exponentially.

It has an potential to grow hugely but it doesn't promise that people will stop using fiat and will only use bitcoin for their day to day spendings, that is simply impossible.

Bitcoin will never replace fiat in any country around the world but it can and does get used by some for day to day spending. I know a few people that make about 90% of all purchases and pay bills by bitcoin only. If your like me and just hate banks then i try use bitcoin to pay for as much as i can.

If it does end up being used as paying bills aren't they afraid of the volatility of bitcoin. Not really useful as payment if it fluctuates so much.
