for me bitcoin is now already a digital currency globally in fact here in Philippines it is already used in some private investor to accept payment using bitcoin and now some of our bank here are accepting bitcoin payments or trade.

Really dude? What particular bank, that is a great progress if that is true, Philippines is not a big country in Asia like China and Japan but with the fast progress in the county it would give some impact to other small countries in the neighbors, good thing your government is very supportive.

That's the concept of bitcoin. As long you have an internet connection although it's banned in your county, you cab still access it through vpn. Hopefully, they unbanned bitcoin in their market and it's not possoble since it's already legal in many countries.

I guess the question is what you mean by global currency?  If you mean to replace currencies in general, that is doubtful.  If you mean adoption by users in the global market that seems plausible.

Pretty unsure on when it would be happen since many countries see's that bitcoin is illegal money so we cannot tell on when the unlift the banned from it. But as of now i see some people who came from banned countries who still uses bitcoin's maybe they are great for hiding it since they accumulate more money from it eventhough theirs government restriction from them

There's no need to replace the currencies, because bitcoin can be a good alternative payment method. And the fact that we are doing it already, we can see that bitcoin is already a global currency for us who are using bitcoin. We are near to the cashless society and transactions will be processed automatically.

Yes, but for sure things will be different if we have a very crowded volume of users, like government will try to take charge of it because people are going into bitcoin.
Things are good in bitcoin now so I hope when it become global currency it will remain the same as what we have now.

May be even better for the future of bitcoin, if the government is willing to legalize bitcoin. Not just as an international currency. But bitcoin may be used as the primary currency

after being legalized and accepted in japan as a new payment method I hope it will affect the popularity of bitcoin that it can lead bitcoin the international currency i think it is enough because even if bitcoin did not become a primary currency I think we can still use in various transactions just like how we our primary or local currency .

in fact we can see the effect right now.  as we can see that the price of bitcoin is trading above 1800 USD level and that is really a very high value in present time. it is really all because of the Japan accepting bitcoin and giving it as a legal status. i am hopeful that the government will also become pressurize by the increasing number of bitcoin users, because the number of bitcoin users are increasing continuously.

yeah you are right that bitcoin is available in everywhere for online shopping and i heard that some places bitcoin acceptable for direct shopping and different countries people are using bitcoin and i hope sooner bitcoin will use maximum people of the world as USD.

I think to be a global currency takes a long process, we're certainly still remember when the EU brings together the currency it takes more than 15 years of socialization, bitcoin it took 25 years of socialization in order to become a global currency.

No country has adopted bitcoin yet, they just accept it as a type of currency/method of payment. But yes nearly every country will do that soon its the first truly borderless currency.

It is a real good idea because of bitcoin we are already reaching the whole world and if ever you wanted to travel around the world. You can just simply bring your hardware wallet or you can log in to the computers of the travelling agencies or the airport for confirming your payment and that is what global currency's advantage.

Yes of course with different currency of each country will be different exchange rate obtained from bitcoin transactions.
But this certainly does not complicate the transaction bitcoin wherever we are

I think you tried to mean using Bitcoin,  it will provide facilities. Absolutely and moreover it will provide great value to its existence, but becoming a global currency is tough rather than being globally accepted by each and every country legally, even this would be more than enough I believe.

Yes for us bitcoin is a global currency we are using it all over the world to transact our money to any part of the world and to deal in that currency in any part of the world with any merchant but we are waiting for the states to adopt bitcoin and to use it for all of their official matters then we will call it a global currency officially.
