I wouldn't say that Mumbai is in such bad condition only because of Pandya. We are also not seeing the expected good performance from the players of Mumbai Indians. But I would say one of the main reasons for Mumbai's poor performance is Pandya's poor captaincy. I have seen his bad decisions in several matches. He is not able to select the bowlers properly. In several matches I have seen, Pandya did not give a chance to bowl 4 overs to the bowler who gave the least runs.

Ishan kishan also we don't see good performance as expected. Apart from 69 runs against Bengaluru and 42 runs against Delhi, he did not play any big innings in this year's IPL.
