This helped Gujarat Titans reach the big score of 233 runs. Mumbai Indians were at peak pressure from the beginning and lost the match. So, it was Shubman Gill who had disappointed both RCB and Mumbai Indians fans with his performance.

My observations in Mi vs GT Qualifier 2:

— GT's right decisions, I was glad last qualifier's failed experiements Darshan and Shanaka were out.

— Even though Sai Sudarshan didn't hit big, he was excellent in rotating strike to Gill.

— Tilak Verma innings was short yet magnificient, was hoping he would make a century.

— Surya great as usual, after Green got out he had no support. You could feel the pressure.

— Vishnu Vinod wasn't equivalent replacement to Ishan Kishan.

— Luck wasn't on Mumbai's side. Gill was given few chances which you could say costed them a match, some of them were hard but nonetheless chances (Tim David's dropped catch ofc, caught and call chance to Cam Green, edged on Chris Jordan's ball, one on long on (?) to Tilak Verma).

— Madhwal's performance under pressure turned out to be real poor.

— Rohit Sharma's batting performance poor as usual. There was no platform for middle order to bat on.

— Surya's out was emotional.

— Tim David/Vinod, dunno what they were thinking taking singles as if playing odi after Surya got out.


GT's batting dependent on Gill, wonder how GT would do if he gets out early in Finales. Look at this stats, Gill at 851, next Pandya with 325. Huge difference.

I observed one thing that all of the playoff matches were one sided one. Yes we have one final still left to be played but i wonder when you have the four best team reaching the playoffs and all of the matches are one sided, doesn't make sense.

Also from the spectators point of view, we wish to see the matches having results in the last overs but we lack this type of encounters in the final stage of this year's IPL.

MI make it to playoffs in very interesting manner. The RCB defeat in very last game of group stages confirm MI spot in playoffs. I would say MI performance in playoffs is not bad either as they were able to beat LSG in there first playoff match. Yesterday they lost despite efforts of Green, SKY and Varma, no other batsman was able to make it to double figures yesterday.
I am support Mahi 11 for the final but Mahi need to be careful as GT are in good form too.

Dhoni is an excellent captain. It is much more difficult to win the final against Dhoni. Gujarat Titans have played against Chennai twice this season. Gujarat got a narrow win in the first match. But the Gujarat team was defeated by 15 runs in the knockout round match.

Gujarat team lost due to poor batting against Chennai. But in the next match, they batted brilliantly against Mumbai. The Gujarat team set a huge target of 234 runs. I think Dhoni will not win this title. As this year's champion, I consider Gujarat team more deserving. If SHubman Gil and Rashid Khan can play well against Chennai then it will not be a tough task for Gujarat Titans to win against Gujarat.
