For today's match, I believe that GT has higher chances, since they have the home advantage as well as better team balance. For today's match I would like to see Josh Little in the Gujarat Titans playing XI. Titans used their 4th overseas slot to play Dasun Shanaka, but he has disappointed them so far. And in the pace bowling department they are weak, as Darshan Nalkande and Yash Dayal haven't performed up to the mark. The best thing to do will be to replace Shanaka with Little and to drop Nalkande. Little can provide good support to Mohammed Shami, with Mohit Sharma backing up in the middle overs. And I hope that MI would prefer Nehal Wadhera ahead of Hrithik Shokeen.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians performed very well with Lucknow. Seriously I am so confused about today's match. On one hand, we have the best team in this tournament Gujarat Titans but they recently lost to the Chennai super kings and the reason was that Chennai super kings had tons of more experience that the  Gujarat Titans.

Wriddhiman Saha is failing every time to show his performance in the opening pair. Although this player is very talented a player we have seen in other seasons make good runs in the opening pair. But this season he is not able to match himself. 
I think position doesn't matter in T20 cricket whoever is dropped in that position can play according to his ability.  Because there is nothing to see in T20 cricket, 10 batsmen have to play only 20 overs where the batsman will come to the wicket, bat and leave again. 

Anyone can open instead of Wriddhiman Saha but Rashid Khan should open instead of Vijay Shankar. Because the first six overs are powerplay, Rashid Khan will be successful by playing big short in those six overs. Let's see if Gujarat Titans make any changes in their team planning.

There is no doubt that the squad of Gujarat Titans is very strong. However, their batsmen are not performing well in the last few matches. Thankfully, it seems like the rain has stopped and the drying process is already underway. A crucial match, but there isn't an alternate reserve day for today's match. That's mean if the game gets washed out due to bad weather, Gujarat Titans will automatically qualify for the final because of their higher position on the points table.

Going down to a target of 183 runs in the Eliminator match, LSG were bowled out for just 101 runs. Going into bat first, it seemed that LSG might finish the match before 18 overs. But Akash Madhwal was struck early by the wicket of Prerak Mankad, who was dismissed for a team-high 12 runs and an individual 3 runs. But Akash Madhwal didn't stop there as he took 5 wickets for just 5 runs in 4 overs and contributed a lot to Mumbai Indians' victory. Anyway best wishes to Mumbai Indians for a win and looking forward to another match like today's match against Gujarat Titans.

Akash Madhwal has been one of the finds of this season. I would like him to represent the Indian national side, but given all the nepotism and bias in team selection, I am not very optimistic about it. Yesterday he singlehandedly destroyed the Lucknow Super Giants. At one point, LSG were 69/2 in 8.2 overs and looked like they are in a comfortable position. They lost the next 8 wickets for just 32 runs. Apart from Marcus Stoinis, no one made a score of more than 20. They made the same mistake, by refusing to select Quinton de Kock (Pooran was preferred instead of him) and Mark Wood (replaced by Naveen-ul-Haq). 

I agree with you, that LSG made a mistake.  I don't know how much can be improved in the coming year.  However, they had a good chance in this year's IPL.  I thought they will write the name of IPL champion. But day by day their game is going towards download.  Gambling fans of LSG team had a lot of desire.  Desires are shattered in moments.  All I can say is that Lsg should prepare again for the next IPL

Later the rain stopped and reports were good and the match have begun. Gujarat Titans have already scored 139 runs at the end of 13 overs losing the wicket of Saha. As usual it is Shubman Gill blasting and close to 100 runs. With the present runrate we can expect the match to have the score go high above 220 runs. Tough match for Mumbai Indians, the player, Madhwal who rocked the previous match is now the one with highest economy of 14 rpo.
