Going down to a target of 183 runs in the Eliminator match, LSG were bowled out for just 101 runs. Going into bat first, it seemed that LSG might finish the match before 18 overs. But Akash Madhwal was struck early by the wicket of Prerak Mankad, who was dismissed for a team-high 12 runs and an individual 3 runs. Akash Madhwal has been one of the finds of this season. Pooran was a fine choice, I don't think LSG has better finisher than him, great fielder as well even when not playing as WK. There is no excuse for dropping an explosive T20 batsmen such as Quinton de Kock. If the issue was with the limited number of overseas slots, then they should have replaced Naveen-ul-Haq with one of the local seamers. Or another option was to drop Kyle Mayers and include de Kock in his place. Mayers made some good knocks in the beginning, but in the recent matches he failed completely. Anyway, it is the end of this season of the Indian Premier League for Lucknow Super Giants. Hopefully they will come back strongly next season.

Every one is having his own views about this game with for me GT is surely going to have better advantage at home because after MI they are second-best team which perform good at home now in this match against MI they can play with their aggressive style which will help them for having good chance for the win because in Chennai things were not into their favor but still they have done good performance and lost match by 15 runs but at Gujrat which is their home they can use better conditions which will surely help their batsmen which will play better.

MI bowlers can face trouble here with mostly we have good help for the batsmen which was not available in Chennai, Gujrat is currently well-balanced team which is defending their title and can go through for the another final against CSK which is going to play its 10th final.

Team balance is really good with the Gujarat Titans squad. Hardik Pandya has captained the side quite well, and their players have been free from major injury woes. In general, both their batsmen (Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya.etc) as well as the bowlers (especially Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan) have been in splendid form. But what happened during their match against the Chennai Super Kings is a concern. The batting failed completely against the CSK bowlers, who made optimal use out of the slow surface at Chepauk.

CSK secured the final in the first match and now they are waiting for their opponent in the final. After they secured the final three teams battled to reach the final but yesterday one team lost against Mumbai Indians and now the competition is between two teams those two teams are Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans. 

Gujarat Titans, who won 10 out of 14 matches in the group stage, were beaten by CSK in the first qualifier by a huge margin. As Gujarat Titans are the table toppers, they have one more chance to prove themselves after losing the first match. If they can win this match against Mumbai Indians then Gujarat will play the final against CSK. 

Between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans, I don't prefer any team as it is difficult to say which team will win based on the performances of both teams.

Earlier the scripts used to favour Mumbai Indians and the best script I watched was the 2019 IPL final. CSK need 2 runs in the last ball faced by Shardul Thakur, he ran two run on the final ball from Malinga and suddenly the umpire lifts the hand as wicket for the lbw appeal. CSK doesn't have review and it wasn't an proper lbw. Mumbai Indians won the final by a run.

I think you got to give it to MI, they scored 180 on a pitch where average first innings total was 140, then you see almost no dew in the second innings which means bowlers will get complete advantage from the pitch as well. I feel somehow chasing a target way above the average score in a eliminator automatically gives you that extra pressure, I'll always suggest any team to play in the first innings in knockout matches unless you are very confident about your chasers like you have someone like Kohli chasemaster.

Both the knockout round matches were completely one-sided. It was very annoying. Because the four strongest teams qualified for consecutive rounds. And so we expect to see a very competitive match. LSG's performance was very disappointing. The batsmen should have batted patiently in such an important match. The team was able to collect only 101 runs.

Hope the next match will be more competitive. Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans are both very strong teams. Both aim to win the title. I really want this match to be competitive. However, considering the recent form, the Mumbai Indians team seems to be favorites in this match.

As IPL are top class cricket league such kind of things can bend Thier way from top. Anyway it's not my opinion I just explained how people now think about IPL results.. may be it's wrong!!!!!!!!!

How many people think in this way that the IPL matches are not real or the tournament is fixed ? This is just an opinion by few and they try to impose it to the majority. Whenever you see a MI or CSK win, you will see type of tweets.

I do not say that everything is as clean as crystal in IPL. Some matches may be fixed by the players or team themselves but saying that the whole tournament including all the matches are fixed is a childish thing. Remember that Players are not actors who can perform the scripts in the 60-70 matches of the IPL.
