What were all the LRP requests?

Better documentation
Speed logging
64 bit linux support
--CryptoSlax Build
RPI build

What else?

Also if you were on prepay and accidentally elected post-pay please open a ticket and support can revert you.  If you started on post-pay they cannot.

There is some new features rolling out, mostly centered around cancellations and refunds for post-pay providers.

I believe the next big round of requests involve on-site provider ratings and feedback so we can have it all in one place and for leaserig so we can detach from bitcointalk.

What am I missing?

*On site chat is being looked at
*Several minor UI change tickets are in the dev queue
*Pool management is in the dev queue

Regarding postpay: it's a pain in the butt to track all these hourly payments. It's not that I don't trust it Smiley but it would be nice that in addition to the raw list of payments we could have perhaps a running total for each lease, % complete/remaining, plus grand total and rig totals for the last 24 hours, something like that.

For LRP, not just speed logging, but EVERYTHING logging, including timestamps, of course.  Oh, and a way to use different port numbers per mining rig so when we jump across NATs, we can hit all rigs on the other side.

To the person renting my rig:
It looks like we've been having some stability issues with one of the rigs in the Bob mining cluster, so I've added another two GPUs, so your hash rate should actually get above 6.5 MH/s in your pool, but it will not be reflected in the LeaseRig hash rate since it does not have a way to monitor this extra rig I've added to the cluster.

Thanks,

One way to make the port number super easy is to use whatever is entered into the username coming from the incoming rig.

IMHO, allowing payment by USD/credit card kind of defeats the purpose of everything we're doing here. Smiley

Add other altcoins.

How so? Someone would be paying USD to mine coins, effectively exchanging USD into cryptocurrency. Nothing wrong with that.

What would stop someone paying for rig time on a credit card and then doing a chargeback?

It defeats the whole purpose of Irreversible Bitcoin Transactions. You rent a rig with a credit card, start a chargeback, say that your card was stolen and used for some shady services. BAM. Providers lose everything.

LeaseRig can shield providers from this risk and there are ways to deal with it if not completely avoid it, i.e. use the full scope of security measures provided by the card issuers, verify buyer's identity, limit amounts etc. If Coinbase can sell BTC that way I'm sure it is possible to work this out. It would be costly though and would probably have to involve an extra fee, so the question is whether there would be enough demand for that.

Leaserig and Coinbase are 2 very different things. And how are we supposed to receive it? In BTC? Via bank transfer?
Do you want leaserig to become a huge bitcoin exchange?
By the way, you cannot buy BTC from coinbase using a credit card.

Different, yes, but Coinbase is a good example of using a reversible payment method to transact with an irreversible one. It allows instant ACH purchases of Bitcoin, which carry a risk too, and it uses credit cards for backup.

I don't want LeaseRig to become anything that would jeopardize it's primary purpose, and I think I made it clear that my response was to the statement that accepting credit cards and/or USD "defeats the purpose". It doesn't defeat the purpose if it's done properly, it can actual enhance the appeal of crypto currencies, which is a good thing. LeaseRig doesn't need to do this by itself if it detracts from serving its primary purpose, they can use a payment processor like... er... Coinbase? Smiley

They could use coinbase or bitpay, but is there a need for it?
And coinbase accepts bank wire, which is reversible, but not as easy as credit cards and paypal. It's really easy to reverse those.

I agree with suchmoon. I am leasing my rigs to get paid in a Cryptocurrency (ie doge, ltc, btc) and unless you guys take the funds and buy BTC with them, which is idiotic, then i wouldn't have any part with a credit card.

I'm sure there is a need, but I'm probably biased since I work with all sorts of payments and have learned to deal with risks of credit cards or PayPal or whatever. Ultimately it's up to miaviator and his gang to decide if it's worth it for LeaseRig. As a provider I would surely appreciate the broader customer base.

Coinbase accepts - at least in the US - *instant* bank transfer purchases for verified customers, which essentially means they are lending up to $1000 at their own risk. That's even easier to "reverse" than a credit card purchase since in this 19th century banking system the transfer takes days, plenty of time for a crook to disappear the cash. So I think they have a decent idea about managing their risk.

Im using a 1000w psu for a 280x and 270x, i was running it with another 270 but sold it to a friend.. and a 850w for a 7870. Which is overkill lol but it wont be staying like that.

I have a mix of various brands and capacities, but my best combo is dual Corsair HX 850 supplies, which is enough to max out a 20A 110V circuit (or two dual combos on 240V) and can power up to six 280X. Five if not bothering with undervolting.

And I use HX 650 for Gridseeds, I guess that means Corsair HX series is my favorite for some reason.
