Most providers overprice their miners. So the consumers won't make any money out of this.
Good luck ya'll with mining!
Look at it from another point of you. If we price them lower than multipools, why would we do so, to take a loss? Nope. People rent them to solo mine, or to mine a new coin.

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts Open it with notepad, and add that line to it.

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts Open it with notepad, and add that line to it. The new DNS hosting should fix the problem so you won't need a hosts file.

I'm unable to log into Leaserig now from work, from IE or Firefox. I just get an error as follows: The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://leaserig.net/
The following error was encountered:
Unable to determine IP address from host name for leaserig.net
The dnsserver returned:
Server Failure: The name server was unable to process this query.
This means that:
The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL. Check if the address is correct.
Is this a known issue?

Is this a known issue? Is this still an issue? There could have been a few local dns caches which lost the address during propagation of the new DNS. This would have been temporary. Also you should use https://leaserig.net/ just to avoid the redirect to https.

I just tried again with the link you gave and it gives a bit of a different message ( The connection has timed out. The server at leaserig.net is taking too long to respond.) But still fails to connect. On the other hand I was able to get an old Archos tablet linked to the guest server here and was able to reach Leaserig.net with it. So apparently the problem is very limited in scope.

xrobau a top teir LeaseRig.net hashpower provider has reported details on an anonymous renter who just won big. The renter paid a little over 2.1BTC for a 144 hour contract on the rig AUSMINER which is a conglomerate of 26 SHA256 mining devices hosted by xrobau and available for lease on LeaseRig.net. As the only online crypto-currency hash-power leasing service to offer Solo-Mining and getwork compatibility, LeaseRig.net is the only leasing service for this 7TH/s SHA256 behemouth. It was reported less than 10% into the 144 hour lease that the renter found a BTC block worth 25BTC! As the renter was solo mining this entire block of 25+ BTC will be paid out! That's over 12X return on investment in under 24 hours! AUSMINER: https://leaserig.net/index.jsp?page=hire&rigid=651xrobau's feedback: https://leaserig.net/fbview.jsp?fbrid=222

I believe the issue OF LRP is being addressed and is entering alpha testing. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I would LOVE to get my ants back leasable again!
