I'm surprised with the performance of Newcastle today. They defeated PSG with 4 goals, it is very impressive. I believe no people expect Newcastle to destroy PSG with many goals, PSG is actually stronger if we consider the squad quality. But Newcastle showed to people that the cohesiveness of playing as a solid team is more important than star players. Although PSG has star players, Newcastle can beat them with convincing scores because they play solidly. Now, they are leading the group F. They have good chance to qualify to the next round.

Agree, it is embarrassing that PSG got defeated with big scores (4 goals). Their defense looked very fragile (so weak). They also only scored 1 goal, it means Mbappe and other PSG attackers played underperformance. PSG game is totally very messy, they never played as a solid team although they have many star players.

The game ended with the Magpies winning 4-1 against the Parisians. Another reason I'm accustomed to UEFA Champions League football is because of the unexpected outcomes. In today's encounter against the Magpies, Paris Saint-Germain were humiliated. Luis Enrique is extremely disappointed with his team's performance; I cannot convey how disheartening it is for an elite club to fall short. Newcastle United put up one of the most competent performances of the season against the French giant. Newcastle boss, Eddie Howe impressed and aiming for his team to explore more in elite leagues.

Pedri, De Jong and Raphinha are still absent and they are not listed in Barcelona's squad for the match against Porto. I know those three players are important in Barcelona's midfield and attack, but Xavi also has options. Ilkay Gundogan, Gavi and Remeu played from the first half, but Fermin Lopez or Sergi Roberto also had a chance to be substitutes in the second half.

I am also backing Barcelona to win against Porto and I am confident about that. Even though I believe in the possibility of Barcelona winning, I think this will not be an easy match for Barcelona.

After winning with a goal from Ferran Torres who replaced Lewandowski because he seemed to be having problems, Barcelona's game was still quite good and focused. although, there were several misses between the Barcelona players. Yamal's played quite well in this match, but not Joao Felix. Despite having several opportunities, 2 shots on target, 43 touches, 2 blocked shots, 1 off target, Felix did not play calm at all in this match. and yes, Barcelona had difficulties especially in the second half.

The situation in the second half Porto played more aggressively than Barcelona. They were in Barcelona's defense a lot, but were unable to take advantage of every opportunity that existed. As for the goal that was scored, it had to be disallowed because it had been caught offside first. This match is over, a narrow victory for Barcelona but it makes their position safe in 1st place in the Group H phase.
And what deserves appreciation is the Barcelona goalkeeper, Ter Stegen, he played with a good performance by making 5 saves.  Very lucky in this match, Barcelona didn't concede. Unfortunately, it looks like Lewandowski has to be pulled out because Xavi doesn't want anything to happen that becomes a serious problem. Unfortunately, Gavi got a red card, but at least Barcelona won.

In other matches, as I expected, the Dortmund vs Milan match would end in a draw. and one match, which was beyond my expectations. PSG was humiliated by Newcastle with a fairly large score. My prediction is that PSG will win this match. in fact, they were beaten by Newcastle.

Impressive comeback. I would like to know what the odds were for Braga’s victory at that moment when the score was already in favor of Union 2-0. Judging by how the game developed, Union spent all their energy on pressing and did not have enough strength in the second half. They still have 0 points after two games and I think that even for third place their chances are minimal.

It was ironic that Union Berlin lost the match after taking a 2-0 lead. This is a sad situation. Braga made one of the best comebacks of the Champions League. The goal they scored in extra time was golden for them. They are currently racing for second place, and in order to surpass Napoli, they must go into the match with the aim of winning all their matches and take risks to win.

I don’t think that I would like to see Braga in the 1/8 finals, since although I love underdogs, I am sure that such an easy option will go to some club that I don’t like - City or PSG. But after such a beautiful victory, Braga has every chance to get into the Europa League and prove itself there. Napoli are not as strong as they were last season, but it will be very interesting to see how they perform in the knockout stages.

I am certainly not surprised that Paris saint Germain and losing to Newcastle right now. I have always had this feeling that the game would go in the favour of Newcastle, Paris saint Germain this season is like any good team in France (I would place Lens ahead of them right now) while Newcastle wants to prove themselves in every match the player, the coach and players are in sync and the fans are loud cheering them on.

For sure Newcastle would go further than the group stage in this seasons UEFA champions league because they actually aren't just a rich club they can actually play good football.

So many people here downgraded the ability of Newcastle United to beat almost all the teams in their groups, which is very possible because they are very good defensively and their midfield is better than that of AC Milan, Dortmund, and PSG; they are just big teams that have already made names. That is why people were thinking that Newcastle United will be at the bottom of the group after all the group stage matches.

Newcastle is now winning PSG 3-1, and PSG is playing its best squad. I am very confident that Newcastle will win this match because they have the ability to defend their goals till the final minutes.

Many people that made initial predictions were making reference to their poor Premier League start Newcastle United have, which is now gone because they have improved their league performance because they beat Manchester City in a cup and are also the club that scored the highest number of goals in one match in the Premier League this season; therefore, I am expecting them to qualify ahead of Milan and Dortmund.

Newcastle have certainly cleared the doubt of everyone and critics on the height of standard  that this team has come to achieve, although PSG are not in the best state of a team because the team is currently facing devastating gameplay and performance but we actually can't deny the fact that this Newcastle team are no longer a team to underestimate because they are now in the top of their performance.

Newcastle deserves the win since they worked for it and it was clear that PSG deserves the defeat. The only goal that was scored by PSG was to console themselves.

Newcastle came to the champions league and surprised everybody especially in tonight's game against the French champions, I never expected this game to be so easy for Newcastle with the way they ran through the PSG defense was just too easy, and they had to silence Mbappe all through the game. I thought PSG would hammer Newcastle and even make them regret why they even qualify for the champions league. Newcastle have made their fans proud tonight, and it's official that PSG are not fit for the champions league football, they don't have what it takes to be a Champions League competitors.

Definitely they didn’t just win but outplayed PSG throughout the game. PSG was the favourite to top the group and they got that under control when beat Dortmund at home in the first match. This Newcastle team were even predicted to finish at the bottom of the table and surprisingly they are on top. Although it is just two matches already but with the group they belong it is better to actually gather points now before the tussle get heat.

Newcastle midfield actual won them this game Because we’re all over the place and a team like PSG who like to hold on to the ball will suffer from their aggressive style. They also have a fantastic attacking trio of Isak, Gordon and Almiron. This three actually have what it takes to breakout on counter and Newcastle used that to their advantage. Once again they have a different goal scorer which shows the club lack of dependence on a single player.

PSG team must recognize the superiority of the newly reborn team, Newcastle. Who would have thought that Newcastle would be able to beat PSG with a score of 4 - 1? I don't think people will predict this high score. As we know in the last few season, PSG too dependence on star players, after they are getting old and/or leave PSG this will making them need another star players. Also, excessive treatment for Mbappe will probably making lack of solid line. Previously, PSG had Neymar and Messi, but rumors stated that Mbappe gave management a condition, if they wanted to keep him, PSG had to sell these two players. Now both of them have left, and PSG in the French league has also faced poor results with 3 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss.

Well, My fave team now under pressure, another draw with Dortmund, this will making Milan maybe hard to go to the next round. 4 match left, this month Milan will face PSG, hopefully Milan can get 3 points.

It's been a very bad night for PSG. Newcastle United crushed them. No one could have predicted it would end like this.
This was the most enjoyable game of the night.

It has the possibility for Newcastle to win by 1 goal difference, because they're supported by their situation playing at home. But not with the result of Newcastle 4 - 1 PSG, LOL. This season has been a tough season for PSG, because they really have to find a successor to Neymar and Messi who left them.

Newcastle surprised me today as I least expected such from them, they weren't my favourite although they were the host, I feared they would perform poorly against PSG considering that PSG had a good performance in their first UCL game so definitely they were going to do better but sadly I was disappointed as they were no were close to my expectations today.

PSG dominated the game today, they were good with their attack and their midfield, Newcastle did more of a defensive game but did utilized every opportunity that avails itself to them and the started leading from the first half of the game and continued into the second half, they finally secured the three points and I will say they made good use of their advantage as the host team.

I hope PSG learns from this game and improves in their subsequent UCL games, most likely I feel this loss may affect their morale in their local league aswell, I hope their coach gets a better tactics to overcome and manage this loss. Like I did said earlier PSG have a better chance at their local league than in the UCL so if they could chanel their energy more towards that they may most likely have something to fall back at by the end of the season.

After today's game I have to say: I will never bet on Dortmund again! What they played was embarrassing and I just feel sorry for the great fans. RB Leipzig made City suffer, it was not an easy win at all and for awhile i thought the game was going to end in a draw, substitutes Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku made all the difference, Alvarez got the second goal and provided the assist for the third goal, thus we can give it to Pep tonight for making really good substitutions. City are not really at their best yet, but they are still getting the victories that they need, it is pretty obvious that they would top that group, and by the time the competition gets to the most important stages, City will be at their best as they usually do, and they are definitely one of the favorites to win the UCL.

Amazing Match between Newcastle and PSG. And Newcastle was really impressive tonight, beating PSG as the favorite club in the hell group, no half-hearted, score 4 - 1.
Newcastle really seemed to be on a rampage, their attacks were so effective and strong, their defense was also very good, so that even though PSG had a tight attack, especially in the second half, Newcastle were able to defend very well, could even make a very beautiful counter attack, and finally, Newcastle's 4th goal scored by Fabian Schar was inevitable. PSG should really feel embarrassed by this defeat. Because they really lost badly, even though they were superior in ball possession, but they lost, 4 - 1 to Newcastle. For some reason, I feel very satisfied with this result.
Newcastle should be able to continue to be this good and consistent in the next matches, because the road ahead in the UCL will definitely be even more difficult.

I must admit that I wasn't expecting a comfortable match for PSG at all. Their performance has been really inconsistent since the beginning of the season. While Newcastle are in great shape I didn't expect them to just lose this home match for them easily. But this score was just way beyond my expectations.

Newcastle simply destroyed a team like PSG. Today there wasn't anyone to praise at PSG side. Mbappe and Lucas Hernandez had the biggest ratings in the lineup but even they weren't that good. Sincerely speaking I was disappointed by PSG's performance against newcastle, at first I thought it would just be a walk over game for PSG, surprisingly the tables turned, though I haven't followed up there ligue 1 games lately, to know how their performance has been lately but a 4-1 defeat from Newcastle was far from my expectations, like they normally say, this is the game of football, anything can happen.

Man city playing a possessive game, from the beginning of game till it end,  foden was just terrorising the Leipzig defence right from the onset, I'm not surprised he saw the back of the next. I wasn't expecting much from Leipzig though because they were playing against the defending champions that are still very much possessive in the pattern of play.

Atletico Madrid did well vs Feyenoord, Barcelona are leading in their match vs Porto. Lazio and Milan are tying in their games for the moment.

Newcastle United Vs PSG was definitely the match of the day. The more interesting thing about it was how the game turned out. 2 goals to nothing for Newcastle against PSG in the first half and extended there lead with yet another goal in the second half.
PSG only had there chance in the plus minutes with Fabian Schar scoring a compensation goal. 4 points for Newcastle and at the top of there group.

Barcelona on the other hand, though they managed to win there game, there performance was relatively poor and only managed yo get a goal out of an error back pass. They were lucky FC Porto couldn’t convert most of the chances and they had some really good one too.
