I must admit that I wasn't expecting a comfortable match for PSG at all. Their performance has been really inconsistent since the beginning of the season. While Newcastle are in great shape I didn't expect them to just lose this home match for them easily. But this score was just way beyond my expectations.

Newcastle simply destroyed a team like PSG. Today there wasn't anyone to praise at PSG side. Mbappe and Lucas Hernandez had the biggest ratings in the lineup but even they weren't that good. This result must be a big lesson for PSG. If they don't improve their effort I don't see a bright future for them in this group.

PSG have devolved into an average team against Newcastle, and the 4-1 defeat is a strong warning to English clubs to stand firm and produce the greatest results. I'm amazed to see an up-and-coming elite team like Newcastle United break down PSG. Football is changing in the modern period, with elite clubs losing points to mediocre teams. PSG still lost with the presence of Kylian Mbappe and other big names, this means winning is not about names and famous players rather with hardwork and cooperation, there's 100% chances of winning a game.

PSG team must recognize the superiority of the newly reborn team, Newcastle. Who would have thought that Newcastle would be able to beat PSG with a score of 4 - 1? I don't think people will predict this high score.

Amazing Match between Newcastle and PSG. And Newcastle was really impressive tonight, beating PSG as the favorite club in the hell group, no half-hearted, score 4 - 1.
Newcastle really seemed to be on a rampage, their attacks were so effective and strong, their defense was also very good, so that even though PSG had a tight attack, especially in the second half, Newcastle were able to defend very well, could even make a very beautiful counter attack, and finally, Newcastle's 4th goal scored by Fabian Schar was inevitable. PSG should really feel embarrassed by this defeat. Because they really lost badly, even though they were superior in ball possession, but they lost, 4 - 1 to Newcastle. For some reason, I feel very satisfied with this result.
Newcastle should be able to continue to be this good and consistent in the next matches, because the road ahead in the UCL will definitely be even more difficult.

PSG's confrontation with Newcastle is considered a battle of the rich. Because both clubs have supes-rich owners. Newcastle itself does not have the same status and attraction as PSG. I was so wrong about PSG and I am sorry that I neglected them. It wasn't actually my fault but Newcastle did not start the season in a good note. Last season, after Newcastle ended the season on the 4th position and with their good form, I predicted that Newcastle will qualify from the champions League group. But when this season started, Newcastle wasn't playing well even with the fact that they were in the deadliest group. I totally ruled them out, but they have proved me wrong.

I am not surprised that PSG is struggling, no club that passed through the confusion and stress that they passed that will perform very well.

Newcastle vs PSG & Dortmund vs AC Milan in Group F tonight, the group of death. I’ll be mostly focused on these games. I think they’re the most interesting in many ways.

I have a bit of a soft spot for Celtic so I’m backing them to beat Lazio too. You will find it hard to see a better atmosphere than Celtic Park on a European night. Hopefully they create a cauldron of noise to unsettle Lazio.

PSG was not my favorite team to qualified from that group and it has happened, PSG was defeated with goals up to 4-1 they are not even match to qualify from that group stage, but they got lucky with 3 points. The match has ended and we have seen the results of the club that qualify with the one that are knock out from the group stages. It was very ashamed to see AC Milan been knocked out from the group stage because they cannot improve their performance and defeat Dortmund. Ac Milan performed poorly against Dortmund, but they were already removed, thus their current priorities should be Seria A and Europa.

Meanwhile, Barcelona managed to close the first half with a score of 0-1 through Ferran Torres' goal. It started with Romário Baró's mistake which then allowed Ilkay Gundogan to provide a fine assist for Ferran's goal. Unfortunately Lewandowski had to suffer an injury due to the hard tackle he received in the first half, this is clearly bad for Barcelona if the injury is serious enough.

If the injury become worst, that will be very terrible news for the team, from beginning of the stage I knew Barcelona and Porto would advance from the group stage because they were the two strongest teams there. The game between Royal Antwerp vs Shakhtar Donetsk impressed me the most during that group stage. How did Shakhtar manage to score three goals win in the second half?, and Royal Antwerp, who is ranked fifth in the Belgian Pro League but still miss a penalty in the Champions League.

Newcastle are now leading with a 1 goal from Almiron in just 17 minutes of play with a great attacking performance and just as my guts told me regarding Newcastle current form they won't be an easy side to beat tonight despite playing against an much experience UCL side PSG.

It seems the EPL teams are taking vengeance based on the scoreline of yesterday's results with the two EPL team losing their games.

PSG is not only one goal behind, but now they are 2-0 behind Newcastle. None of the PSG players managed a shot on target in the first half, even if they had 3 shots. Newcastle's defense was so good that PSG's attackers had difficulty penetrating and finding space to shoot, clearly this was not a good sign for PSG.

PSG has overwhelmingly more ball possession and Newcastle has all the chances. This is odd because PSG has one of the strongest offensive trio out there and despite almost 70% ball possession they are not able to create chances? I wonder how that is possible and that not even Mbappe was able to have a shot on target. It can only mean that Newcastle is defending extremely well here and that is usually a difficult job against so many high level offenders. But this is also a bummer for PSG I am sure. This was the game that they should have won and they would have earned some respect back.

Newcastle before now we're underrated to not be a match for PSG checking their attacking front of Mbappe and Dembele with their benchmark in the UCL games so far. But history has taught us that it when a team is mostly underrated because the are playing against a better and experienced side that's when they do better creating surprising results. Who could have believed Newcastle would have such a win against PSG with a lot clear goal difference that's humiliating.
The scores result has proven that Newcastle was absolute the better side tonight with an uneasy impenetrable defense, well coordinated midfield and an offensive front attack, something that was supposed to be said about PSG butbhere we are unbelievably talking about Newcastle tonight. Wow!

PSG needs to beat Milan now to have easier access to the final phase.

No doubt they have resized the club to a smaller one after giving away their top players.

That was absolutely embarrassing for Paris Saint Germany. Milan which I expected to be good leaders in the group are still  struggling.
I was eager to see how Eddie Howe manager of Newcastle will want to handle the players after having a poor start to the season. They did well now in the last two games. They fumbled with the with the Premier League but they should not repeat that when play the Champions League.
The goal from Zaha has nothing to do with Onana. But I will blame Dalot, if that was Bisakka he would have defended that ball correctly.

Barcelona are also yet another side that was struggling. But they have  the squad depth to challenge for the Champions League. Man United.

I feel there is a chance in this Champions League to see Machester United failing to pass this stage in the group because they are not in good form at all. Also Manchester United is getting worse and it seems Ten Hag has no idea about how to solve the problem. Letting Antony play was a huge mistake from this coach.

After there lose to yesterday to Galatasaray from a home side where we could have expected Manchester United to have the home fans support for an advantage and a pitch they are used to, they lost to the visitors. They are now just a game away from being kicked out of the group stage with Copenhagen not doing so badly. In fact, they’ve been a much difficult side when they faced Bayern Munich than we can say was the case for Manchester United.
It would take Manchester United to be at the top of there game to get more than a point when they meet them and even so, a point haven’t got their salvation.

It’s been an interesting match day life and can’t help but wonder just how is Newcastle doing what they are doing to PSG at the moment, 3 goals to 0!

Really I don't expect to see Manchester United still playing this level of football at this stage of the tournament,  is too early for them to be struggling to win and oass this stage were as other clubs are busy accumulating points that will sustain their position in the future stage already,  I never expected Manchester United to still lose at home even in front of the fans.

This is the height of the deterioration of the club and things need to change as we journey along or else the club may be pushed out of the league at an early stage,  even in the premier leagues,  Manchester United have not been up and doing like in last seasons.

Pedri, De Jong and Raphinha are still absent and they are not listed in Barcelona's squad for the match against Porto. I know those three players are important in Barcelona's midfield and attack, but Xavi also has options. Ilkay Gundogan, Gavi and Remeu played from the first half, but Fermin Lopez or Sergi Roberto also had a chance to be substitutes in the second half.

I am also backing Barcelona to win against Porto and I am confident about that. Joao Felix, Lewandowski and Yamal will lead Barcelona's attack line from the first half, then Barcelona's defense also looks ready to withstand the onslaught of Sergio Conceicao's troop. Even though I believe in the possibility of Barcelona winning, I think this will not be an easy match for Barcelona.

After winning with a goal from Ferran Torres who replaced Lewandowski because he seemed to be having problems, Barcelona's game was still quite good and focused. although, there were several misses between the Barcelona players. Yamal's played quite well in this match, but not Joao Felix. Despite having several opportunities, 2 shots on target, 43 touches, 2 blocked shots, 1 off target, Felix did not play calm at all in this match. and yes, Barcelona had difficulties especially in the second half.

The situation in the second half Porto played more aggressively than Barcelona. They were in Barcelona's defense a lot, but were unable to take advantage of every opportunity that existed. As for the goal that was scored, it had to be disallowed because it had been caught offside first. This match is over, a narrow victory for Barcelona but it makes their position safe in 1st place in the Group H phase.
And what deserves appreciation is the Barcelona goalkeeper, Ter Stegen, he played with a good performance by making 5 saves.  Very lucky in this match, Barcelona didn't concede. Unfortunately, it looks like Lewandowski has to be pulled out because Xavi doesn't want anything to happen that becomes a serious problem. Unfortunately, Gavi got a red card, but at least Barcelona won.

In other matches, as I expected, the Dortmund vs Milan match would end in a draw. and one match, which was beyond my expectations. PSG was humiliated by Newcastle with a fairly large score. My prediction is that PSG will win this match. in fact, they were beaten by Newcastle.

The match between Porto was really interesting and once against we saw how well Xavi can guide his team to show them how to win games like this one, However, Xavi didn't have some players in his team for this match, but Porto's performance was not bad at all and I think their coach, Sérgio Conceição, was thinking the referee had to take a penalty kick for their team in this match. also, Porto scored a goal in the last minute of the game but the goal was not accepted because of an offside.

Every club will now be scared of Newcastle because they are a dangerous and unpredictable club currently.

I thought PSG would hammer Newcastle and even make them regret why they even qualify for the champions league. Newcastle have made their fans proud tonight, and it's official that PSG are not fit for the champions league football, they don't have what it takes to be a Champions League competitors.

Most people had similar thoughts, but as we can see, everything is just different. Newcastle comfortably won the match, and Newcastle is now topping the table with 4 points, which is really a nice one for them. Newcastle made most people proud of them today, they showed a brilliant performance.

What a shock on PSG performance tonight as they were defeated like babies by Newcastle today with all the quality players that they have in the club. Newcastle took the match very serious and were determined to get all three points, which they made possible.

PSG didn't play as if they really wanted to win the match because they failed to utilize the opportunities that they had in the first half. Newcastle deserves the win since they worked for it and it was clear that PSG deserves the defeat. The only goal that was scored by PSG was to console themselves.

I think this was an unexpected victory because Newcastle United were not able to control possession of the ball but they were able to counterattack and score a goal. This season has been a tough season for PSG, because they really have to find a successor to Neymar and Messi who left them.

With today's surprising results, Newcastle managed to occupy first place in Group F standings, I still hope for other surprises that they can make in the future.

Very few persons among millions of football fans across the globe would've predicted that Newcastle will be at the top Group F after two games as well as beating Paris Saint Germaine with a convincing 4:1 win. Eddie Howe gotta be the best English manager at the moment for what's he's been able to do with his Newcastle team.
Paris Saint Germaine's manager Luis Enrique isn't showing any sign to prove that he deserves the managerial role at the club. It's absolutely very poor of him to be losing matches against weaker teams.

Its not like PSG is some magical team. People are overreacting to this, I think it was obvious from the start that they would not have a dominant game. Newcastle is a team that went to UCL from premier league, one of the toughest leagues in the world, whereas ligue 1 is not even in the top 5 right now and PSG is not even leading that currently. So this is an expected result, do not assume PSG is the same PSG that managed to win so many in a row, they are missing Neymar, who wasn't all that great by the end anyway, and Messi who played well enough for them while he was there, and they are just doing ordinarily at this point. So expecting them to have an easy game was the wrong part. Sure oddsmakers gave PSG the edge, I agree that was the expected result but that doesn't mean that PSG couldn't lose this one, obviously they could because they did.

That's right, Newcastle only had 26% ball possession however Newcastle has high accuracy in shots on goal, of the 12 shots 8 were on target and 4 managed to become goals, I think the Newcastle coach has prepared this strategy they are looking for PSG's weaknesses for example in defense and counterattack. With the results of today's match, the competition in Group F is getting tougher 2 of these elite clubs will be eliminated, what do you think of Newcastle's chances, do they have a big chance of qualifying?
