This is a bit hilarious, were you expecting Man Utd to defeat FC Bayern Munich at home?, with the kind of performance we saw them display lately, No way mate, if at all I was expecting them to perform well not actually in their game against Bayern Munich.

Even the 2:2 draw result from Galatasaray vs. Copenhagen is a thing of worry as it stands because every team in their group now has at least a point except Manchester United and is a big problem for United right now.

Obviously I didn't expect Manchester United to win the match against Bayern Munich right in Germany.  That was why I initially advice Erik Ten Hag to play more of defensive type of game in order to avoid an embarrassing result like 4 goals to 1. It was this mindset that Manchester United approached the match with fear and that was why they were 2goals down in the first half. The Serie A teams did not show their best performance in their first match in the Group phase. In fact, only Napoli managed to secure full points in their first match in the group phase. The victory achieved by Napoli can be said to be lucky because they won the match with an own goal. Apart from that, AC Milan vs Newcastle United ended in a draw, and Inter Milan also achieved a draw. Lazio also managed to be held to a draw by Atletico Madrid. So the 4 representatives from Serie A in the Champions League were not at their best in their first match in the group phase.

I am more interested in teams from Laliga, they are really strong, like Barcelona and Real Madrid because they managed to win their first match. Apart from that, Manchester City also started their first match with a win. Manchester City still maintains its best performance in both the UCL and EPL.

This match went according to what I expected, if these two teams would score goals against each other. considering that the available odds are not very ideal for Bayern Munich, I would suggest betting on the +1.5 handicap option for United with odds @1.70. Looking at Onan's mistake, I have a reasonable question, was Manchester United worth getting rid of David de Gea then? Yes, de Gea also made stupid mistakes like Onana, but he was incomparable in the frame of the goal. United’s fans and board never expected it to be this bad but who knows maybe it’s Karma taking a toll on him for maltreating Ronaldo his highest goal scorer in his previous season before he left the club. Changing coaches has always been Chelsea’s culture, they have been changing coaches every now and then since back in the days and they were able to achieve a lot during that period so i don’t think that is chelsea’s problem. changing coach can be beneficial and also problematic so we just have to pray the right coach locate the club. You can’t call this come back until they are able to draw level or score more goals than their opponents. They tried their best to have scored 3 goals and it’s because Bayern have not been as superior as they used to be since Tuchel took over because how would you be 3 goals up in the first half and end up winning with a goal up while playing at home.

Onana have not been at his best since joining United but i feel it’s down to the form of the club, the whole team is struggling and even the coach is struggling to gain his balance so until then i wouldn’t judge Onana yet. I still feel when the team is back in form he will gain his confidence back and be a better goalkeeper. United’s style of play loosen their defense which is making them shaky when facing an attack but maybe it’s why they concede alot.

You made some solid points although I was talking about Man Utd fans stance about Ten Hag prior to when he officially joined the club from Ajax not now. I know that right now, they feel he is the problem because they obviously have squad quality and depth but very lacking performance-wise.

As for Onana, I believe he is a solid keeper but he is under a lot of pressure right now to deliver and the more mistakes he makes, the more pressure he gets and the more he fumbles. It's like a downward spiral for him right now and except Ten hag does something to fix his defensive team including Onana, they'll continue to suffer from defensive mistakes and errors.

Had it been that Manchester United's defense was strong, this would have been a win-match for them against Bayern Munich.   I didn't see anything much that Bayern played that made them defeat Manchester United. Manchester United only had a bad defense and Bayern Munich utilized that for their victory.

What I will be expecting Ten Hag to look into closely, is Manchester United's defense and the coordination of players. The defense has so many loopholes and that's very obvious. Secondly, some players are beginning to play alone example Rashford. Rashford is beginning to be sluggish in making passes to his fellow team players.

This match had 7 eye-catching goals, 1 match Man Utd played well compared to this season. Coach Ten Hag and his team had a good start despite facing strong opponents before personal mistakes ruined everything. Onana made a grave mistake in Leroy Sane's opening goal in the 28th minute. Instead of pushing the ball out or keeping it, he pushed the ball into the net. Onana made some great saves in the second half and overcame his mistakes.
Losing 4-3 to Bayern in the opening match, Man Utd was pushed to the bottom of Group A. The reason was that the previous game between Copenhagen and Galatasaray ended in a draw.

There are some teams that always play very good football and score good amount of goals even without a striker. Manchester City has been known for such a thing in the past. But Real Madrid is not well grounded in such attern of playing football
I do not actually know the plan of Ancelotti this season why he has decided to take Jude Bellingham closer to the post to be his goal getter. No matter how impressive the young boy will be and how decorated he is. He cannot be a striker and he will not do that job that the standin 9 will do. Glad to see that madrid gets full points even thought the team was struggling in the game against berlin. I meant madrid was only scoring one game through bellingham but it's able to get three points which is good.
It doesn't even matter how many goals being made by madrid as long as the club will able to get full points and that's enough.
Again and again bellingham becomes savior for real madrid. I must admit that if union berlin is also strong enough as a football club at this moment. Berlin was almost steal 1 point from madrid but bellingham has helped madrid with his last chance.

Oh, I'll continue your thought further What would the Real Madrid players have done if the ball hadn't successfully bounced to Bellingham at the end of the match? I really feel sorry for the Union Berlin players that they could not endure a little bit until the final whistle of the referee and get a draw and one point in the standings. Despite all the advantage of Real Madrid in the second half, the Berliners defended the whole match with dignity. And yes, I will not call Union Berlin the strongest team, and if Real Madrid wants to achieve something this season in the Champions League, then the team needs to urgently strengthen the game when it really has to play with the strongest teams.
