After the really boring game between Manchester City and Arsenal this draw has helped Liverpool a lot. They have become the new leader in the standings. 

I wasn't waiting for a this poor game though. I should really appreciate Arteta's game plan against Manchester City. He really knows how to block Manchester City attacks. Once again he didn't give much chance to Guardiola's team.    Haaland was like a ghost on the pitch. He still found a couple of serious goal chances though and wasted them all. But I'm not blaming this result on only him of course. They were bad as a team.

The game ended 0-0 draw with fierce competitive actions from both sides. Pep Guardiola was shocked because he couldn't control the entire field, his men was unstoppable but they have to settle for lesser results. Merely watching the game, Arsenal are incapable of handling three winning points at Etihad stadium. They failed in all round but their performance was outstanding, they had entertaining actions but denied Manchester City victory. Mikel Arteta was ready and he knows what to expects from his former boss.

According to the upcoming fixtures above if manchester city will get the easiest fixtures compared to the another club. That being said that city has a chance to win all of remaining games soon. Meanwhile, arsenal and liverpool must have faced a lot of strong opponents. Which team did you guys able to get PL trophy according to the upcoming fixtures above? I think that city's chance is still quite big to defend its PL title consider it will have so many easy fixtures.

I also have the same thought. Compared to Liverpool and Arsenal, Man City is likely to encounter obstacles when playing against Tottenham and Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Liverpool and Arsenal, apart from having to play against Tottenham and Aston Villa, they also have to play against Man United. Man United does have inconsistent performance, but there are times when they play against big teams, they can play quite well.

Biggest flex today was Liverpool winning, taking all 3 points and going on top of the table while City and Arsenal both lost 2 potential points. With only 9 matches left to be played, it means that every single game from now to the end of the season is crucial and a MUST WIN for all teams involved. This has to be one of the best title race in recent years with 3 teams fighting for it compared to the usual Liverpool vs City title rivalry we have had in recent years.

I am really sure one of the teams hopes they slip on the next match. If I look at Liverpool next match, they only face several club which maybe too difficult for them to get 3 points such as MU, Tottenham, and Aston villa, Maybe what made things difficult for them was the match against aston villa in villa park. but all the match they will face next, I'm sure Liverpool will get the trophy, because will be Klopp's most beautiful farewell gift before he left, and this is not possible they will get a double winner as English champion s league champion and the Eufa League.

Arsenal will have tougher fixtures compared to the manchester cit and im sure many people are totally aware about this. It's hard to predict whether liverpool will able to get three points against those clubs. Im concerning about manchester united and totenham matches. These club looked like ez matches but the reality may be very different.
Arsenal must have passed all of the matches carefully. A blunder for arsenal will be result in the club will be missing PL trophy once again and im sure that if many fans will be also mocking this club again like last season. Those fixtures are hard to pass by arsenal and i strongly belive arsenal can do that. Im not really sure to pick arsenal in the upcoming games.

Liverpool, arsenal and manchester city are same strong here. It's kinda weird to see that city was not performing like what it used to be. As long as liverpool's players will always play carefully without even get injury and the chance is big to keep the first place till the end of season.
Salah has always become a key owned by liverpool to win the game. His experience was carrying the club to perform better. Im feeling so damn good with the performance showed by liverpool till this time. Multiple trophies are still possible till now.

The match was indeed quite boring because both teams could not give high intensity in that the match, after waiting long enough since the international break was played, I think we will see an exciting match like a bigmatch in that match, but actually throughout the match we only see a monotonous match without any aggressiveness in terms of attack as has been the hallmark of both teams in playing in others match,  So even so we can see how Klopp and Liverpool fans are quite happy with the final result of the Manchester City vs Arsenal match yesterday.

Even though they had a difficult match when beating Brighton, but at least Liverpool can pay off with 3 points that make them quite strong while at the top of the Premier League, I think with a few more games left then we will see the competition will still be tight because indeed all three have a small difference in points like before, currently Liverpool,  Arsenal and Manchester City will still have crucial matches that might change the course of the competition in the Premier League standing this season and so far we still cannot guess who will be the champion at the end of the season.

I also have the same thought. Compared to Liverpool and Arsenal, Man City is likely to encounter obstacles when playing against Tottenham and Aston Villa. The teams in the Premier League are difficult to predict, because several of the teams currently in the middle of the table also have strong strengths, making it possible for them to tackle Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.
The remaining 10 matches in this season are not easy, I am sure that the three teams competing for the title this season will not be able to maintain consistency or win in all the remaining matches this season.

Tottenham and Aston Villa are also competing for 4th place and I think both of these teams will give their best even though they will be playing against top teams who are competing for the title, this will make it difficult for teams who have great motivation to achieve victory.

Well, I wouldn't say that City's calendar is easier than the others, because City will have matches with Aston Villa and Tottenham, teams ranked 4th and 5th in the EPL and besides Luton and Brighton can also give a fight to City.
Liverpool's strongest opponents will be Manchester United and West Ham, but Liverpool can beat them, and I agree that if Liverpool does not fail in the end of the championship, they will become champions, especially on the way there are average teams to beat which Liverpool knows how to beat.

What was that? Manchester City's performance was just terrible. They weren't playing like a team that want to be champions. Arteta once again didn't lose to them this season. He collected 4 points from his teacher Guardiola in 2 games. This is really good statistics against the most powerful team of the league on paper you know. 



Just check out these statistics. Only 1 shot on target for Manchester City... Haaland was even lost in the game, did you see him?    This happens in nearly all of big games. Haaland just can't play effectively.

I must admit Gabriel - Saliba duo did a mega job at defending Manchester City attackers - especially Haaland. 

The problem with Manchester City is that they have actually kept a good control over the match. But they have not been able to do well in the final third of the pitch. Manchester City had most of the possession of the ball. And whenever they went to the final third, it looked like they were forcing everything. Maybe they should have taken it a little more relaxed, maybe one more pass and that could have done the trick. But I absolutely agree that the attackers of Manchester City were kept under control pretty well by the defenders of Arsenal.

By the way, this is actually a very good result for Liverpool. Now Liverpool has point advantage over both of them. Liverpool is currently two points ahead of Arsenal and three points ahead of Manchester City.

The problem with Manchester City is that they have actually kept a good control over the match. But they have not been able to do well in the final third of the pitch. Manchester City had most of the possession of the ball. And whenever they went to the final third, it looked like they were forcing everything. Yep and Mancity will be in big trouble if they fail to win against Aston this week/Wednesday.
Because Liverpool will only face Sheffield and Arsenal vs Luton, it is almost certain that both teams will get full points.
And next week, Arsenal and Mancity fans will definitely hope Manutd can beat or at least hold Liverpool to a draw at Old Trafford.

It’s no longer news that Jurgen will be leaving this Liverpool team at the end of this season which will make it 9 years of him being in charge of this team. Replacing a coach like Jurgen who’s very key is always quite difficult to an extent especially as this coach is one that has changed the face of the club and has led the club to some key victories and also brought some trophies home.

 At the moment they’re the League Cup winners and could probably be crowned the EPL winners and or the UEL winners as they still remain very top contenders of these competitions. Replacing him, so many names have been thought of and many thought we’ll be seeing a return of Bayern Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso but it’s all looking different especially as Alonso has committed to the German Club for some more time.

 This is a relief to the Leverkusen fans but a big blow to the Liverpool fans as mow the club will now be thrown into major dilemma of getting a perfect replace for Jurgen who’s leaving at the end of the season. Different managers have been brought to the picture of this race and when you check of all, I think Diego Simeone might not be able to do the job at this club.

 ⁠A coach like Unai or Nagelsmaan will be able to still maintain Jurgen’s tempo and build their team on that foundation and I think they’ll be a perfect replacement for the German expert. Liverpool is a big club and sure any coach will love to coach them but a better option will be any of these two and that could be what’s best for the club.

There are talks about Klopp leaving for Barcelona. I do not know if there is any truth in that or not, but his announcement did came after Xavi declared he won't stay. However, Klopp also said that he is retiring, and even if he comes back, that won't be next season. Xabi was a good idea for Liverpool but he said he will stay at Leverkusen so that won't happen. I am guessing that the best thing they can do right now would be going after whoever is available.

Nagelsmann didn't do that well with Bayern so he may not be the best idea, I think it has to be something that could turn a little different. I personally believe that we should probably see this situation changing a bit this summer, they really need a big name.

But am sure Manchester city will do everything possible to win the remaining matches they are having left.

I said it already — Liverpool will win the EPL title as well as the UEL title as farewell gifts for klopp. We already won the EFL cup so that's 1 of 3. I know Arsenal and their fans wants it badly but they can win it next season if they really want to and let Klopp get his last title of a successful Liverpool tenure. What Klopp and his team just needs to do now is to keep their cool while winning every one of the last 9 games of the season; One match at a time.

You mean always a two-horse race between them? It's only Man City vs. rotation of other top four to five clubs for the past six seasons. Liverpool wasn't even close to challenging for the title last year as they finished fifth place and it was Arsenal who almost won it. Now it's these three teams that are competing

It must really be a time to feel so lucky with your bet but, I don’t wish you that luck lol… Arsenal just has to win this one, they’ve come way too far to not have this title. From being the average team we knew them to be that is always looking up to the FA cup for a trophy and Europa for an international league qualification to a title contender and a strong UCL side. Of course I’ll like to see their efforts pay off but,

It’s really up to Spurs to decide. Spurs would be crowning the league champions this season with their lose or win. Arsenal already ensured they don’t lose their advantage to Manchester City and set the pace for number of goals, playing better football at the end of the season, that’s so not their style last season and they could win this for real.

Maybe you didn’t watch the match, because if you watch the match you won’t have said Manchester City performance was horrible today. All what you are talking about is the 1 shot on target which they had, but if you watch the match, you will see the pattern of  football which Arsenal played, they played a defensive game which didn’t give Manchester City opportunity to get to their goal keeper. If you check the possession, then you will see that Manchester City dominated the match, but they couldn’t get the opportunity to score in the match, I won’t really say Manchester City performance was bad in the match.

Overall both clubs played very well in playing this match, Arsenal played the game with a defensive strategy and managed to maintain their defense very well so that it made it difficult for Manchester City to create opportunities even though they had good control of the ball as well as Arsenal who could not create goal opportunities against Manchester City. because Manchester City's defense was also quite strong so no one managed to score a goal in this match, both clubs were only able to achieve a goalless draw but at least this result was fair enough for both clubs.

Indeed, we can't blame Manchester City just for failing to win at home because Arsenal also kept their defense quite strong and made things difficult for the hosts. There's nothing to blame. Manchester City has done well even though it failed to get full points to occupy the top, and I said congratulations to Arsenal even though he didn't win the match at least he was able to get 4 points in their 2 meetings this season which is a great achievement for Arsenal.

I think they are the ones who are really upset because Manchester City couldn't beat Arsenal at home. For Arsenal, it was important to finish the match without losing, and I think even getting 1 point from this atmosphere made them happy. Arteta seems to have analyzed Guardiola's strategy well. He made the best defense against him.
