Liverpool had 10 straight wins over Palace in the league from 2017–2022, including a 7–0 thrashing. The shift is Oliver Glasner. Palace are in an 18-game winning streak under him, it is their first time ever starting the first six league games unbeaten, and they have earned points in 4 of the past 5 games against Liverpool

Liverpool’s loss was not unlucky either. They controlled 72 percent of the ball and only 5 attempts and 0.30 xG. Isak touched the ball 19 times within 90 minutes and this is screams sterile possession. Palace created nearly three times the quality of the shot per attempt

Clearly if anyone was analysing this game before it started they would all be backing Liverpool to win easily...

But if anyone watched this game, from the whistle being blown, Palace really put the Reds under pressure and personally I thought the would score a minimum of 3 goals because some quality chances were created and unfortunately they came short by a goal.. just hope they keep this momentum going to see how far this takes them, maybe champions league football

Fulham and Aston villa game just ended with a home victory for Aston villa against Fulham. As usual, Fulham always fall short when they face a mid difficult club and was the worst among the two poor teams today. The performance from the players was very poor and the substitution from the coach was very terrible too. They lost the game just after 20 minutes into the game. Aston villa now sit on sixteen position and two points away from relegation zone.

Arsenal vs Newcastle now playing and Newcastle already leading with one goal in the first half.

I can see that some Chelsea fans haven't recovered fully yet after Manchester United defeated them at old Trafford. In that match,Manchester United dominated Chelsea in the entire first half of the game,played better and casemiro and Bruno Fernandez scored  two goals within 38 minutes. After returning from the half time break, Manchester United Loss their hold on Chelsea  which wasn't Cool at all. Chelsea returned with confidence to equalize the game, Chelsea dominated Manchester United to an extend that I thought the game would end as a draw. However I think Chelsea shouldn't be underestimated because they were defeated by Manchester United. Chelsea vs Brighton is a tough game,Brighton may be a hard team to crack but not for Chelsea.

The game was basically troubled from the start for Chelsea because of the early red card, and I understand why they would have trouble because of it. However, we also need to realize Casemiro got red card as well, and yet Chelsea still couldn't get a win out of that, they didn't even get a draw.

This is why it is clear that we are not going to see Chelsea recover that easily, even if they do end up winning this one that doesn't mean that we are going to see fans having any trust in them at the moment, that's not going to happen. What we need to see right now is them getting a good momentum, like winning 3-4 games in a row. If they can actually do that, then they are going to end up with a great return without much trouble.

Seriously, I don't understand this, did Amorim really say this about Bruno? And again what exactly did Bruno do for Amorim to say this? I didn't watch the Brentford Vs Manchester United game yesterday, I only saw the score line online. So I'm just wondering what he would have done to Amorim for him to say this. About him not taking responsibility, yes that's true, because I have heard him in some few occasions blaming one person or the other after a defeat.

Bruno missed the penalty, but Amorim didn't say anything like that. I read his post-match press conference and he said, as always, that he would cherish every minute at the club, try to rectify the situation, that they need to play their own football and not the opponent's football, etc. I don't think Amorim would have said that even if he thought so. Fernandes is perhaps the only one at United who cannot be faulted for anything.

This match of Aston Villa has been won very well and strongly, which their 3 good players have scored all 3 goals in 20 minutes with hard work. Due to which it was easy for them to defeat Felham. If they try to improve themselves, they can be a successful team, it is difficult for the players in between to create opportunities, due to which they fail. By that time, Aston Villa had become quite good and strong when they scored the first goal on 37 minutes. If they play with the same hard work in the next match, they will be able to get out of this zone and succeed in their good position by getting 3 points. Arsenal has also won this match by scoring 2 goals and Newcastle was unable to score only one goal, due to which they had to fail.

Aston Villa finally wins a Premier League game, they had been struggling in the league, but they were able to gain a three points today. However, I was worried that if the club had failed to win against Fulham today; Unai Emery would be fired, but they won by three goals. In six games this season, Aston Villa has only scored four goals and conceded six. I hope they return to winning ways in the remaining games.

However, I do not believe Fulham is a worse team than Aston Villa this season, Fulham looks to be better than Aston Villa this season, and this is their second defeat in the Premier League, after a loss to Chelsea. I expected Fulham to win the match because Aston Villa has struggled with goals this season, but they finally got a home win in front of their fans.

You are right, I agree with you on your take, taking a look at the last five games, it clearly shows that Fullham FC are better club and team than Aston Villa is this season, Fullham have won 2 matches, lost 2 matches and got 1 draw, while Aston Villa on the other hand have lost 2 matches, got 2 draws and just managed to get 1 win which is the win they got today for beating Fullham.

Talking about positions, Aston Villa is currently in the 16th place on the premier league table, while Fullham is sitting right on the 10th spot in the Premier league table.
This simple stats shows clearly who are the better club this season, and unless Aston Villa improves in their performance, Fullham is better.

Liverpool is barely scraping by all their games but they are still winning and if they keep winning this week as well, it's going to be pretty hard to stop their momentum because this run of games at the very start allows them to be ahead of everyone else early on, and even if they have some mishaps along the way, they will keep their top position.

Liverpool performance has been so good this season, but they lost their last match which was against crystal palace, seriously I never believed they going to lose the match, but Liverpool ended up losing. Seriously Liverpool messed up by losing the match, Arsenal which is in second position is already closing up the points difference which is between for them, and any slight mistake from Liverpool, then Arsenal will be taking the first position from them.

Liverpool overall performance is good, they have a strong attack, but I will keep on saying it that Liverpool will have to work on their defense, they will have to improve their defense, because Liverpool defense is so weak, and they are always conceding easily in matches, if Liverpool doesn’t work on that, then it’s really going to affect them.

Overall, Fulham have looked better at the start of this season, but if we’re talking about the H2H history between Fulham and Aston Villa, Villa have always had the upper hand at home.

That’s a solid reason for me to back Villa here H2H history can really give a team the confidence to repeat past wins. We all know that when 2 teams have faced each other multiple times, they learn each other’s weaknesses, and Villa have always known how to exploit Fulham’s.

So today’s win for Villa isn’t exactly a surprise, it felt like that win was on the cards even before the match kicked off.

What an End to the game at St. James park, no one would have believed arsenal would have travelled back to Emirates with all 3 points. This was a match maybe only the players and the manager believed that winning will be possible at that time. It a good game honestly and sometimes in football all you need is to believe. It a good one to watch, the intensity and tempo in this game was absolutely top notch.

The gunners need a win to close in with Liverpool after their loss at crystal palace and they did exactly that. 2 good goals from set piece works it out for them again. Moreno again proven to why he is a vital player for gunners especially in games like this, Gabriel got the winner in stoppage time. Arsenal looking like a serious contender for This title again.

I'm still in doubt about Gyokeres adaptability to the premier league. Arsenal had to go back to their set pieces again to get their goals. Huge win for them though.

Yea, I think this is just want people I mean social media came up with but even if Amorim said something like that I would not blame him because that was  a great opportunity for Manchester united to equalize the goal and who knows what would have happened if they equalized the goal, maybe the pressure and force of Brentford would have reduced and Manchester united would have taken charge but instead he missed the penalty. I don't really know what is wrong with Bruno Fernandes with this act of missing penalty kick this period, if it is pressure then he should stay off from playing let others play.

Amorim might be a good coach but not a good leader, he always avoids blame and lays them on his players and trust me that's the least way to keep your players motivated. A good leader should take responsibility for the errors of his team and not criticize them publicly. Even if they made mistakes, you allow them save face in public and call them to order privately. I have the impression that he's more like a boss to his players and not a leader. For me even if he's sacked like he said in the morning, his sack is even long overdue.

You can say that because it is one thing to lose a game and take responsibility as the manager and another to be quick to point fingers and criticize your players but I get it. The job is too much for him and he is getting frustrated already. I also think it is about time United start sorting for a replacement.

Yes I agree to what you are trying to say here, the problem of Manchester united is not the manager if you ask me because so many good and top class managers has been hired but they all failed which led to their sacking at some point in time, so sacking Amorin wouldn't solve the problem of Manchester united on the longer run.
If we look at the crop of players at Manchester united presently, they aren't that good enough to compete against the bigger teams and they succumbs to pressure easily, so what the hierarchy of Manchester united should do is to revamp the team by selling like 95% of this their current players, and sign in new set of younger and more quality players that have the heart to fight for the badge of Manchester united, not this players that are playing nonsense since they are not the one's that will be held accountable if things are going wrong as it is now.

I think Chalobah won't be keeping his place on the team, I won't be surprised if he will be forced out next season and we the fans won't really show much support because he has been disappointing and I'm not even considering the red card  today which wasn't his fault but looking at his performance in recent games it's disappointing for me expect he improves.

Speaking of Maresca he might not survive this season before being sacked as things are going now and our next game against Liverpool will more likely end in a lost looking at our backline and how he reacts in pressure.

For quite some time Chalobah has been on the bad side for the team constantly putting them in tough situations leading to them match loses to top it all his performance has really dropped recently. Chelsea needs to look into the market again for defenders but this time solid defenders.

I believe the referee and VAR made 2 huge mistakes. One was on Gyökeres' penalty incident and the other one was the handball by Gabriel.

Both of them should have been penalties...    Let's say I saw Gyökeres incident wrong. But I'm absolutely confident about the latter. How isn't it a handball? Gabriel literally saved the ball like a GK. His arm wasn't in natural position.

I agree. Especially in tough games he is much worse. He needs time for now clearly. Arsenal have a good fixture ahead. This is a good chance for him to prove his worth too.

I have said this countless of times, but Rubem Amorim cicle on Manchester United is over he needs to resign he doesnt need to be sacked, you need to have some self critic to yourself and take charge of waht you do, and the team is a real piece of shit right now.

Liverpool finally lost their first game of the season, most people might be surprised they lost to Crystal Palace, but I am not surprised. Like you mentioned they have been scraping to win most of their matches this season and I have mentioned it on here that their issue is that they concede a lot of goal and win most of their matches in the dying minutes. They are still on top right now, but Arsenal has reduced the gap to 2 points after their win against Newcastle which put pressure on Liverpool. I will still bet on Arsenal to win the league,  because I feel they have a better team and also have team depth.
