Arsenal scored first and it was ruled out due to the offside goal attempt before the ball was put into the back of the net. Chelsea defense is not that strong and that's a big challenge for them in the second half.

It's a big fight and one side might end up walking away with three points or share a point each. Manchester City is currently on top of the table can Arsenal or Chelsea level up their points with City.

Yes Arsenal can,nfact they have level up their points with manchester city but the difference is the goals. Manchester city is using goals difference to surpass arsenal in the table but there have the same points.
Chelsea performance were good today and i enjoy watching the match. Chelsea problems was their defence,I am okay with their attacks because they have a strong attack which was why they were able to penetrate arsenal defence several times but there defense is the problem. I think if chelsea was able to strengthen their attacks like their defence,this match would have end in a draw or maybe they would have won.

Arsenal looked like utter crap against PSG in the UCL final yet Chelsea dismantled them 3-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025. Which supposedly should prove Chelsea to be more powerful, but that was too just one match.

I believe the result will be different on Stamford Bridge and the overall stamina over the season will matter even more than the current attacking capability (which probably a bit better for Arsenal at the moment).

This match is the match a lot of people have been expecting and this match will actually determine the winner of the Premier league title this season.

This is only the beginning of the season, and the match between Arsenal and Chelsea is the first meeting between the two teams this season. But for some reason, this is yet another time I've heard people talking as if this match were extremely important for winning the title. Are you really convinced that if Arsenal were to lose this match, you would consider them unlikely to win the title later on?

Remember, Chelsea are certainly among the title contenders, but they have just gone through a major squad overhaul, and that doesn't mean they will remain stable throughout the entire season.

He should improve or he will be kick out of the club by December.

This is 1 good assessment I've seen so far, the variables you pointed out—structure built over time—is a really solid assessment. Arsenal is probably the only top team that haven't made much changes in their structure. Mancity, Chelsea, Liverpool have all changed coaches. ManU is still transitioning, so it's fair to say Arsenal is in a much more better position compared to the other top teams.

Kudos to them, although, it was expected. I initially predicted 2 - 2 correct scores or a goal difference of 1 in favor of Arsenal, and it came out as expected.

We saw the experience Arsenal gained from last season in this match today. Arsenal didn't panic at all after conceding a goal and continued playing their game.
Chelsea were good, but I still don't think they have the experience needed to win big matches. That's why tonight's result didn't surprise me. Arsenal were already the favorite for most people, and they won.

Manchester United started the season badly and they are continuing badly. They dropped points again after conceding a goal in the last minute.

Should we always blame the coach over some players or we should blame the players for not being able to maintain their lead for just one more minute? I am really disappointed with the entire defensive side of Manchester United, with such performance, they can’t do something serious in the Champions League because they can’t defend themselves against Everton.

This is the interesting match of the weekend, Arsenal continue their dominance as the best team in London, they have yet defeated Chelsea again despite having one of the strongest attackers in the premier league this season. I really expected Manchester United to win this match today but they disappointed me, they were almost there but they could not maintain the lead till the end of the match, this is a very big disappointment to every Manchester United fan, I really don't know what is actually wrong with Manchester United, this week they will do very well, next week they will not play as expected anymore, what is actually the problem, Manchester United needs to really work on their self because if they continue like this they will not do well this season.

Terrible Terrible Performance from Manchester United, I’m very happy with this performance from Manchester United, the season is going to be a long one for Manchester United, I heard people say that if Carrick had started the season with Manchester United last season, they would’ve ended up winning the Premier League title, now he has started the season with Manchester United, what is the performance we’re seeing from  Manchester United now, they should’ve lost the game, I was expecting Manchester United to loose this game, they are fortunate to come out with a draw at Hill Dickinson, which is a very hectic stadium to play football.

I have always said that Manchester United playing Champions League would provide a huge problem for them in the Premier League, because they’re not used to that and Micheal Carrick doesn’t have experience in the Champions League, they had a bad Transfer Window, I don’t understand the logic behind the decision of players they were sighing.

They spent 157 million. Well, pretty much everything, every pound, on central midfielders. Baleba, Santos, Tielemans. Three midfielders. This is all the window. In the meantime, they sell Hojlund to Napoli and simply do not replace him? No striker. Let Casemiro and Sancho walk for free too. And no left-back even though literally everyone knows Shaw's body is basically held together with prayers at this point.

Then, the 70 million flagship signing, Baleba, gets injured before the season has even gotten going. Ugarte's knee is done until next year.

Against Everton you could see it. Mainoo and Tielemans are lovely on the ball. But physically they just get pushed around. Everton's midfield was winning most of the duels and walking through United's center like it was not there. Particularly in the second half towards the end when legs began going.

Arsenal have been able to show their experience in this match because you can see that they did not panic even after conceding a goal in just 2 minutes but maintained their best performance against Chelsea. However, after watching the performance of the Blues in the initial stage, I thought that Chelsea might defeat the Arsenal team that won the Premier League last season in a blink of an eye today but Arsenal are a very trained team which is proof that they were able to play very firmly and were able to win their third match in the new Premier League with a score of 2-1.

By the way, this season's PL Manchester City and Arsenal who won the Premier League title after 22 years last season are the only two teams that have won three consecutive matches and are now at the top of the points table but we all can see that Arsenal's next match is the first match of the UEFA Champions League against Napoli.

We can not win games with players who lack mobility in our defense. Six goals in three games is actually wild. What is the role of Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez?! We're so poor with the way we defend. Why don't we try Heaven and maybe Leny Yoro together, they should be our first choice and they have mad pace. Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez is nothing and never working.

One of the major reasons why Michael Carrick will fail is putting his trust in players like Shaw, Maguire and Rashford. These are players who should leave.

Like, it wasn't 5:0, wasn't 3:0 or even 2:0. It literally was just 2:1, a very hard earned win and the game was overall stiff too.

Claiming they are in different leagues after losing to Arsenal away by just one goal difference? That's nonsensical. That happened even in the seasons Chelsea were champions.

I guess this sentiment is because of the fact that Arsenal has defeated Aston villa and Chelsea right? I don't want to doubt what you said but I don't think it is cool to determine that for certain. Yes Arsenal is playing very well no doubt but don't be surprise how a team you can not imagine will defeat them because everything is possible in football. Arsenal always do great at the beginning of every season but holding unto the end is what matters. Villa who? Do you still consider Aston Villa a strong team after all the transfers or you just don't understand their situation right now?? I knew there was no way Chelsea would defeat Arsenal. Although the early goal got me spooked, before I had enough time to process how the ball went in the net, Arsenal already equalized. Infact, they began to press seriously after that goal that even what I thought would be the first goal was ruled as an offside caused by Ezri Konsa.

Now that the Gunners have been able to secure yet another 3 points, the only difference between the two top position holders are the GF points, with Arsenal having only one goal difference. Man City will melt like a piece of candy in few matches ahead, especially since we're approaching the UCL season.
