Arsenal looked like utter crap against PSG in the UCL final yet Chelsea dismantled them 3-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025. Which supposedly should prove Chelsea to be more powerful, but that was too just one match.

I believe the result will be different on Stamford Bridge and the overall stamina over the season will matter even more than the current attacking capability (which probably a bit better for Arsenal at the moment).

Involving the champions league match don’t add up, honestly Arsenal played a tough match against PSG we all know that for a fact Chelsea defeated PSG which is clearly understandable because anything can happen at any time but, in comparison Chelsea can’t defeat Arsenal following past record Arsenal always win or a draw.
Chelsea played well today, I know the new system is already doing great after the match but, Arteta now has a full defense team and active players. The Arsenal team is now tight to an extend they no longer rely on a specific player, viewing the first half lineup I was disappointed at first but, watching them play got my attention. Arsenal is a full force this season though Chelsea played really nice like I said if it had been the previous seasons Arsenal would’ve scored more goals.

Right now the Premier League title race is between Arsenal and Manchester Cityand I don't see any other team in contention for the title. Arsenal has already beaten two stronger teams (Chelsea and Villa) and proven that they're continuing their strong run from the last season. City has faced easier opponents so far, so I'm curious to see how they'll play against their first strong opponent without Pep.

I guess this sentiment is because of the fact that Arsenal has defeated Aston villa and Chelsea right? I don't want to doubt what you said but I don't think it is cool to determine that for certain. Arsenal always do great at the beginning of every season but holding unto the end is what matters. There is nothing sure at all. Every team is a force to reckon with. City, united, Chelsea, Liverpool and every other club. It's just two games played, and that's way too early to conclude that the title race is just for the two clubs. Chelsea is really doing well this season and they are far better than they were last season, all thanks to Alonso. But of course, they still have alot of step up to do. Arsenal were determined to win, and they managed to come back from a 1;0 lead from Chelsea to win 2:1.

This game helps to prove that Arsenal's defense are not completely undistructable, nope. You can still break in  and score goals if you play well, and that's what Chelsea proved today. But Arsenal were just too good for them and they found there wat to score two goals to win the match. Everyone knows that Chelsea is doing well, but they have to improve more better.

Chelsea did put up a good game in today's match,
But when you talk about Arsenal, your talking about a team that has been built, over the years they have built a system defencely, attacking wise, set pieces and so on,
So you will expect a win from them, although Chelsea at the moment is also a strong team but Arsenal proved that structure with time surpasses just good performance, they should still try to win consistently through out the league they might have a chance.

The perception I had on Arsenal before the match almost changed when Chelsea took the lead and when Arsenal goal was also cancelled due to the offside and considering how Chelsea could make there defense very impenetrable when they're against stronger opponent but when Havertz equalizer came that was when I knew that Arsenal has not lost the chance to claim the victory of the game and they were very lucky that Odegaard was at the right place they needed from there counter attack because if Arsenal had not scored from that moment this match would have ended in 1:1 but congratulations to them, this was there first strong opponent and everybody including the fans of the both team was very tense watching the match.

Arsenal proved to the world that they are superior, to be honest I never believed they could win Chelsea considering how Chelsea performed in their previous matches. I was actually expecting a draw in this match but I was surprised when I checked the scores, I know it's too early to say this but I can't help it, I think arsenal is likely to win the premier league back to back, I know Manchester city is a title contender but I don't think if they can easily calm this heat that arsenal has put on. Yeah, although you're right when you said that's how arsenal used to play in the beginning but with the look of things I think this one may last for longer period.

Very tight match! Morgan Rogers' early goal for Chelsea really boosted their spirits. But unfortunately, they conceded goals. In both the first and second halves. Still, an exciting game. They are very competitive. Moreover with plenty of back-and-forth action. The teams were actually quite evenly matched. Though there is no denying that Arsenal played a much more offensive game. Chelsea actually defended quite effectively.

Unfortunately, Chelsea ended up losing 2–1 to Arsenal. It’s actually a decent start—not bad at all for Xabi early in his Chelsea tenure. After all, they did win their first two matches, and the loss came against Arsenal, so the result makes sense.

I like the fact that you explained it very well why you believe arsenal was going to win anyways but however most people don’t want to accept that Arsenal was going to always defeat Chelsea, like I said my good guys made celebration for Chelsea’s glory before the game could even start but however it was a very disappointing one for them as they lost but however, I understand the trust they had because the new coach was a former arsenal player which could give them better coaching on how to defeat arsenal but however maybe at the time of his play for Arsenal, the game cannot remain the same things changed already. Arsenal is a fierce team in the EPL today, that started from 2021. Before that, they weren’t this difficult to beat.

No surprises that Arsenal is winning, my only surprise is that it's just 2 goals conceded, it would have been more but it's just 2. In their previous EOL games they conceded 2 against Fulham and 3 against Brighton, though the won those other 2 matches, the problem was them constantly conceding and against Arsenal, I'm surprised it's just 2 goals conceded. Arsenal has a way more stronger defence compared to Chelsea so I wasn't expecting Chelsea to score more goals, besides Arsenal has been well ahead of Chelsea when both teams meet and today same has happened, another loss for Chelsea against Arsenal. Congratulations to the champions, another 3 points in the bag for them.

Despite some bad calls by the referee, but we have to admit Arsenal is a better team, that's why they're still winning this. However, I also aware Chelsea is still learning from the previous mistakes, but they obviously miss Caicedo who can control their mid. Honestly playing James and Lavia at mid is not working because both are injury prone players. So they have to think an alternative way for their midfielders until the january window, then they can sign some proper midfielders, then again their midfielder can play aggressively without injury concerns.

So let them to still stay with the available players they can use, then make improvements to their squad during the mid season. At least, we're getting exciting game to see, and congrats for Arsenal by winning this derby again. It seems the 2nd leg is gonna be a very interesting game to watch because i think Chelsea will fix what they miss today.

From all the Chelsea vs Arsenal matches I've watched personally, to me this happened to be the match with a solid competition..

Chelsea tried both defensively and attacking wise, but Arsenal was clearly the better team to win this match if you consider everything generally and even if Chelsea won that fact wouldn't still change.
Arsenal is a more balanced and structured team than that of Chelsea. But if Chelsea continues like this with this performance, understand their selves well, strengthen their structure with time, I do feel that eventually they will get better and get to win teams that are difficult for them at the moment like Arsenal and Manchester City.

It’s really complicated when I stated the obvious fact concerning Chelsea against Arsenal, if Chelsea should be able to defeat Arsenal then they’ve clearly done a lot of improvement which I want the club to get to that same level.

I think you should reference your previous statement where you made an emphatic statement that read; Chelsea can’t defeat Arsenal…, you are quoting a starts that started 5years ago. Making all the years before it irrelevant. Saying that they can’t made it look like, it’s never happen nor will it ever happen.
I’m telling you categorically that it has happened, Chelsea has beaten Arsenal and they still can and will in the future. There is no can’t here!
Arsenal won today and they did that convincingly because they are the better team, when such a time comes when Chelsea finds a strategy that suits them, then you would find them winning. Mind you, the better team doesn’t always win, it’s how they became world champions after beating PSG and PSG came back to trash them home and away in the UCL.

Manchester United have not been in a very good form this season and the way they have started their season does not give much hope. The team has only won one of their three matches, drawn one and lost one which has left them with only four points on the points table. Manchester United failed to collect their full points against Everton. It is unfortunate for them that they cannot attack strongly. They should have won against a team like Everton, although they tried hard enough but they did not succeed. If they cannot improve from the next matches, they will not be able to reach the top of the points table.

Arsenal are as strong as they were last season and they are playing with their best effort which has taken them to the top of the points table. We can see that the team is fighting hard enough and their great performance against Chelsea has proven that they are still strong and are the favourites to win the title this season. Although Arsenal's game against Chelsea was very strong and competitive but in the end Arsenal collected their full points. However, if Arsenal's performance against Manchester City next time is good and they can win then it will be pretty much guaranteed that Arsenal will be the favourites to win the title this season.

It is too early to conclude that the current Manchester City team is a strong one because they have not faced a very strong opponent yet. Even their last match with Arsenal ended 3-0 against them which shows that they are not there yet. Despite that they have won all their matches played this season, we have to wait for them to face at least Chelsea or Arsenal so we can see how strong they really are. Although they have some good players that can still make them win the league if Enzo is able to manage them properly.

Well, in the City vs. Coventry City game, they didn't do badly. I liked what Enzo did, and besides that, I saw Haaland running much more. Cherki is more involved, which I think is good because it forced Coventry City to bring on defensive midfielders. That means the team improved as the game went on, so in my personal opinion, things are looking much better for City. They're still starting the season, but they're off to a very good start.

I'm following these teams because I know that City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United are doing very well. They may have some flaws, but these will start to be resolved by the middle of the Premier League season, and the title race will be on another level.

Arsenal's victory in this match was expected, Chelsea surprisingly scored the first goal in just 2 minutes, for a moment it seemed that they might beat Arsenal, but is it easy to beat Arsenal? Arsenal conceded a goal early on before they realized anything, but after that they took control of the situation and started to keep possession of the ball, and then Kai Havertz scored in the 25th minute to equalize the score. And then after that, in the 50th minute after the start of the second half, Arsenal scored another goal and made the score 2-1, and there were no more goals after that. But I want to say that Chelsea may have scored the goal in 2 minutes, but it is not surprising that they lost the match despite being ahead at the beginning, Arsenal were already the favorites to win this match and that is what happened in the end.

Chelsea early goal really made the game so interesting, but I never felt arsenal would panic because of that goal. What arsenal did that impressed me more was how they responded instead of rushing to equalize they settled down, controlled possession and eventually they found a way back.

The mistake I think Chelsea made after taking the lead against a club like arsenal, you cannot afford to sit back and give them too much control. They should have created more chances and put arsenal under pressure and not the way they seem to be defensive after scoring 1 which allowed arsenal to have more control of the match

A team with a weak mentality might have played in a panic for the next 45 minutes, but Arsenal didn’t experience that starting from the 3rd minute after Rogers scored.
The captain’s goal, which also proved to be the game-winner, shows that Tzolis is one of Arsenal’s smartest signings this season, and that goal is proof that Arsenal plays with a champion’s mentality.

I think Tzolis will start playing better at Arsenal. Odegaard, on the other hand, performed very well and scored a goal, becoming one of the main players causing problems for Chelsea. I think he was the best player of the match. Saka was ineffective. Chelsea aimed to stop him and actually succeeded. However, he wasn't the only threat for Arsenal. Kai Havertz came into the game and also scored. It was great that Arsenal won the match despite falling behind because they looked like a team that never gives up.
