Manchester United have not been in a very good form this season and the way they have started their season does not give much hope. The team has only won one of their three matches, drawn one and lost one which has left them with only four points on the points table. Manchester United failed to collect their full points against Everton. It is unfortunate for them that they cannot attack strongly. They should have won against a team like Everton, although they tried hard enough but they did not succeed. If they cannot improve from the next matches, they will not be able to reach the top of the points table.

Arsenal are as strong as they were last season and they are playing with their best effort which has taken them to the top of the points table. We can see that the team is fighting hard enough and their great performance against Chelsea has proven that they are still strong and are the favourites to win the title this season. Although Arsenal's game against Chelsea was very strong and competitive but in the end Arsenal collected their full points. However, if Arsenal's performance against Manchester City next time is good and they can win then it will be pretty much guaranteed that Arsenal will be the favourites to win the title this season.

i still can't wrap my head around how Manchester United spends fucking loads of money for years and is still stuck with a squad like this...

Nobody fucking asks we're loaning Rashford out, Barcelona doesn't even want him back so why are we at a point where a guy we borrowed is a guaranteed starter?

It's just one game, doesn't prove anything yet.

Arsenal looked like utter crap against PSG in the UCL final yet Chelsea dismantled them 3-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025. Which supposedly should prove Chelsea to be more powerful, but that was too just one match.

I believe the result will be different on Stamford Bridge and the overall stamina over the season will matter even more than the current attacking capability (which probably a bit better for Arsenal at the moment).
Involving the champions league match don’t add up, honestly Arsenal played a tough match against PSG we all know that for a fact Chelsea defeated PSG which is clearly understandable because anything can happen at any time but, in comparison Chelsea can’t defeat Arsenal following past record Arsenal always win or a draw.
Yes, Arsenal have been much more stable than Chelsea in recent times and their squad balance is much better. But it would not be right to say that Chelsea cannot beat Arsenal. Yes, Arsenal are in good shape, but Chelsea's squad quality is not low. A good tactical plan, defensive discipline and match situation can change a lot. There have been many such incidents in the past where they have done well against stronger teams than themselves. Even Chelsea have won against Arsenal in the past.

I think Tzolis will start playing better at Arsenal. Odegaard, on the other hand, performed very well and scored a goal, becoming one of the main players causing problems for Chelsea. I think he was the best player of the match. Saka was ineffective. Chelsea aimed to stop him and actually succeeded. However, he wasn't the only threat for Arsenal. Kai Havertz came into the game and also scored. It was great that Arsenal won the match despite falling behind because they looked like a team that never gives up.
The most underrated player in Arsenal will be Kai Havertz, despite showing up every single time the club needs him, he's not given the recognition he deserves. Amongst all, Martin Oedegard displayed a true captain's performance and gave them the win.

Arsenal with this performance has shown the world that they are ready for the league this season, their resilience and composure to remain level headed during losses is amazing, that's the kind of team that Aretata is building, a formidable team that will compete for the Champions league.

Facing Chelsea was our first test to see just how well we could perform with the depth of our squad.
One thing that pleased us was that Arsenal was able to stay composed and keep their composure even after Chelsea scored an early goal by Rogers. A team with a weak mentality might have played in a panic for the next 45 minutes, but Arsenal didn’t experience that starting from the 3rd minute after Rogers scored.
The captain’s goal, which also proved to be the game-winner, shows that Tzolis is one of Arsenal’s smartest signings this season, and that goal is proof that Arsenal plays with a champion’s mentality.
To go sincere, this is a well deserved win for arsenal, the composure and mentality they had showed that Arteta has been working tirelessly to make sure this team is the best in the premier league right now and for Chelsea, I will say that they have tried, because they also put in their best despite not having a solid midfield in this game and their defense was not as strong as arsenal's defence but they really tried seeing that arsenal even had a home advantage over them, they still have their best in all of this setback, just that lick didn't work for them.

Arsenal closed the transfer window by splashing heavy cash on defenders. i know they have plenty of money but they only signed Tzolis for the left wing... leaving him without a proper backup.
despite team most in need of a top tier striker addition, they started the season with Kai Havertz.
Logically, a club like Arsenal would be expected to win the CL this season after losing in the final last year. what are the missing pieces? a quality striker and replacing the sold attackers with better ones...

imo their only real chance in the league this year is the absence of Guardiola.

Chelsea attack is powerful, I just wish we could say the same about their defense. It's not actually every team they can get many goals against and we'll see how much they can penetrate Arsenal defense today. If their defense is still begging, Arsenal have powerful attackers that can take advantage of that loophole.

Manchester United is still held goal less by Everton until the end of the first half, they had chances to put themselves ahead, but it always goes to nothing. Bruno shot to the crossbar and Cunha missed a very good chance. Everton has a strong defense and I'm not sure United will be able to do much if Everton scores first. Drewsbury-Hall is very impressive for Everton in this first half, seems his football sense has increased a lot.

This match made me very worried at the beginning. Because when they scored at the beginning I thought maybe this match would be very bad for Arsenal. Because Chelsea's attacking part is very strong and they showed that at the beginning, but they were not able to maintain it throughout the match. Chelsea's defense has weaknesses but during this match we did not see such a big weakness due to which Chelsea will concede many goals or Chelsea's defense position will become very bad.

But yes, by watching Chelsea's match, we can say that Chelsea's position is improving a lot from before and we are hoping to see more big improvements from Chelsea in the future.
I was never worried when Chelsea was leading, because I was watching the match and seeing the pressure they were under. I was more interested at how many times Arsenal would respond to the early provocation and they responded twice in the first half of which one was ruled off-side. Chelsea Started mounting serious pressure on Arsenal with the introduction of Gusto. I'm beginning to understand the more the extent of a versatile player that he is and his ability to adapt to both defensive and attacking roles and make good impacts. I'm seeing reasons about 4 clubs wanted him in the transfer window, including Liverpool and Manchester City.

Chelsea really needs Caicedo back, there is no much creativity in that midfield in his absence, Chelsea attack would've been very deadly if he was fit since he had the ability to create promising chances and still fall back to defensive roles when needed.

Your assessment about Chelsea is good, especially about the attack and defence, and also about the prowess of Arsenal over them. Although Chelsea is still trying their best at the moment, they can't be compared to Arsenal's feat on the pitch, as the dominance is always there. The Gunners can't be compared to Luton Town, Fulham and Brighton's matches; this one would be tough for them and possibly the first match they would lose this season. With Arsenal leading with one goal, this match would either end in 2-1, 3-1 or 3-2.
Chelsea did put up a good game in today's match,
But when you talk about Arsenal, your talking about a team that has been built, over the years they have built a system defencely, attacking wise, set pieces and so on,
So you will expect a win from them, although Chelsea at the moment is also a strong team but Arsenal proved that structure with time surpasses just good performance, they should still try to win consistently through out the league they might have a chance.

It's just one game, doesn't prove anything yet.

Hahaha Grin what is paining you? Haters!!! Football is better expressed with a free mind, and without sentiments, but in your case, it's clear that you have that bitterness against Arsenal. Well, you can talk about The Gunners from now to tomorrow, but the current Arsenal is many times better than the current Chelsea; the records are there. And yesterday, I expected more from them, though, still, Chelsea is no small club, so a near balanced match where Arsenal still edges higher was highly anticipated, and of course, the better side is reflected in the dominance on the field and with the one with the whole 3 points, which is Arsenal in both cases. United has been unlucky in most cases if not, they still have one of the strongest collections of matured and well experienced players in the league. If you blaim them for not winning enough games, what will you say of the likes of Madrid in the Laliga that has arguably the strongest attack, midfield and defense but still struggle against most average teams? Sometimes, when things doesn't go down well with your team, it's not always that the players are not doing enough. Sometimes they just run out of luck and spend seasons in struggles.

Last season, they struggle even more and still came back well even though they've not been a major threat in terms of fighting to win the title. They can still do better in this season and fortunately, they have the champions league to play in.

I credit to Arsenal, they got all 3 point but I think we still need to take this Chelsea side serious. To play without their best defensive midfield and to drop such as performance at the emirate, for a team that is just 3 games under a new manager is really impressive. Arsenal still remain the best team in the league, they have been together for 7 years with the same manager, so such performance is expected.

Arsenal still remain unbeaten in the London derby for 7 years now, Arsenal mikel Arteta have recorded a more win against Chelsea than Any side in the premier league. The premier league champions still remains favorites to win the league again this season. A good performance from the gunners.

I don't know why Chelsea fans are just like that, or even Arsenal haters. Aren't they soposed to be happy for the good football Arsenal is playing? At least, they ended a 22 year major trophy drought last season, and still now, they are on top of there game, winning three out of three. Speaking about Chelsea, everyone knows that Chelsea is no match to Arsenal presently, even there legends knows this, but some haters wouldn't want to admit and accept things the way they are. For the past few seasons or years, Arsenal has dominated Chelsea in all matches, and yet, they wouldn't accept that they are bigger. The earlier they accept that London is no longer blue, but red, the better and heathier it will be for them..  Arsenal aren't giving up on the trophy chase, am sure of that. The league is still very fresh, anyone can dominate and win, it's nobody's trophy. Chelsea should find ways of been better and stop critising.

The midfield and attack can be very productive with the right manager, but we can not say the same with these defenders. In the Premier League Competition with a lot of pace, we're still banking on Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Luke as our first choice players. How do you succeed with such players who should have left a long time ago?

I have never stopped talking about that bad egg Marcus Rashford. He shouldn't have returned back to Manchester United. He is one of these eye service players we have currently. All he does is for the moment, he will not give Manchester United fans consistency. Michael Carrick also should stop playing Cunha as a number nine. Cunha should take back his place and Sesko should return as striker.

In my opinion, the real problem here isn’t just the players—it’s that squad planning hasn’t been done properly for years. There’s serious potential with the right choices in midfield and on the attack, but it will be very difficult for Manchester United to become a consistent team without resolving the issues in the backline.

With so many question marks in defense given the pace of the Premier League, relying on the same players season after season is a serious risk. In particular, the defensive line needs to improve further in terms of both physicality and pace of play.

I feel the same way about Rashford. He has his moments of brilliance, but what Manchester United needs isn’t flashes of brilliance over a few games—it’s consistency throughout the season. As for Cunha, it might make more sense to use him in his natural position rather than constantly playing him as a number 9. Having Sesko play up front could also shift the balance in the attack.

Arsenal actually performed very well yesterday and Chelsea also performed very well yesterday they played an interesting football. I enjoyed every minute of the match.
However, I expected Arsenal to win the match because I feel they are actually more better than Chelsea and they have been winning Chelsea for five years now.

A lot of Chelsea fans were are very angry yesterday, but I see no reason why they should be angry because if you really watch the match, you will discovered that Chelsea actually played very well, Chelsea scored the first goal. The only problem they have is their defense, it is not actually that strong. They need to work on it.

Arsenal is actually Chelsea’s husband Grin

Manchester united has been spending badly for years. They don't have plan, they don't buy players that fit in their system. Between Chelsea and Manchester United I don't know which one is worse when it comes to getting players without planning. Chelsea is slightly better than Manchester United because they find it easy to offload their players when they want but Manchester united find it hard to do away with their players because of their salary structure. Manchester United overpaid their players with a lengthy deals so it becomes difficult to sell them because nobody wants a player expecting high salary but have less to offer. Sadly, Manchester united don't have much better options than manage what they have at the moment.

Until Chelsea are able to beat arsenal, you can not blame anyone that says that they can not do so because they have not proven to be a team that is capable of going head to head against arsenal. even when they score first, they still allowed arsenal to equalize and still win them, what more do you need to make a more logical conclusion?

Arsenal has succeeded in proving over and over again that they are the better side and their fans have gotten the right to claim that playing Chelsea is almost a simple game that they can easily win.

Chelsea  fan are supposed to be angry, because in Chelsea first match with Fullham, Fulham alsmost equalized, it repeated itself in their second against Brighton, this implies that if both teams they met with, were as experienced like arsenal, perhaps they would've had their way against Chelsea, Chelsea was didn't have a good defense last season, for me, I think it is too early to showcase a bad defense at this time, when there are more football events ahead.
I'm not happy with the outcome of that match, why will you score first when you're not ready to win the match, there is nothing i hate more than allowing your opponent to win you from behind, Chelsea is good at that.

Chelsea problem in yesterday encounter with Arsenal was not just about the defense, the midfield was a disaster. Arsenal won the match from the midfield. Chelsea mistake was letting one of their top midfielder to go when they haven't found a good replacement for him yet. The current owners are probably more concerned about the profit than the performance of the club.

Even though the midfield and defense contributes to their lost, it doesn't make any difference. For a long time now, Arsenal has been beating Chelsea whenever they meet even when all Chelsea players are fit are available. Arsenal is just too good for Chelsea to handle.

i still can't wrap my head around how Manchester United spends fucking loads of money for years and is still stuck with a squad like this...

Nobody fucking asks we're loaning Rashford out, Barcelona doesn't even want him back so why are we at a point where a guy we borrowed is a guaranteed starter?

Maybe Manchester United was never actually a huge club. perhaps Sir Alex Ferguson just made them look big and once he left, they simply reverted to their true nature...

sure, they had titles before Alex Ferguson but only as many as Everton, Aston Villa or Sunderland. now they are just hanging out where they belong. right among them.

Last year, we said the Manchester United spirit had returned after Carrick joined the team, but this year that spirit seems to have gone back. Four points from three matches have left them in the middle of the Premier League table. They also suffered an unexpected defeat against newly promoted Hull at the start of the season. Everyone had high hopes for Manchester United in that match, but Hull outperformed them and managed to win. And perhaps the biggest surprise of the month is Hull City, who remain undefeated after three matches, winning two of them.

Still, there's no denying that Manchester United excels as a commercial brand.
even without any real on pitch success for years, they still manage to market themselves globally... despite all the mismanagement, they retain a massive following, particularly in East Asia.
