Im waiting on 1.05BTC

I look on the facebook page and people are complaing about not being able to withdraw 40 to 333BTC(in one case). I mean come on, you dont withdraw 333BTC and cash in when its at its highest that's like 195k.

I'm putting this down to a learning curve and set my Autopayouts a hell of a lot lower.

^^^^ THIS!
Pools are not banks. If you're still mining somewhere, adjust your payouts now.

And at this point, the value of BTC has gone vertical since the "security issue" of mid October, I highly doubt anyone is getting paid. It was ~$200 then and now ~$800, I'm sure they are like, "we're done, take the BTC and run". Although I wish they did come back, as this is another black eye on the community.

Friend of mine in this pool lost his password.  He sent the lost password email and all that with zero reply.  Is this pool dead and gone?  Is his BTC lost forever?

Although I feel sorry for those who have lost money, as has been said many times pools are not banks, set an auto withdrawl to an amount you can afford to lose.  Even though 50btc didn't pay out automatically on a threshold I had payments set to run every hour.

Personally I didn't lose anything, when it became apparent they had been ripping off users by rounding down the share payments I left as it told me all I needed to know about the honesty of the pool ops.

Finally it's interesting to see some of those complaining about being ripped off have been good enough to post screenshots of themselves trying to rip off the pool by attempting to withdraw coins that weren't theirs.

As one of the two people who posted a screenshot, I feel your burn.

However, I assume that any pool operator would be at least a little bit smart, and not payout $200k+ of coins to anyone based on an obviously corrupt database (they admit this in their news reports). So I did not and do not expect a payout like that in any case.

This was my first pool ever to join last year and kept my coins on the server. 7btc gone. My biggest mistake was not to read about auto payouts..... live and learn I guess. If 50btc reads this, please send my bitcoins to my address.

1) You're bitcointalk account is less than a month old
2) You expect the 50BTC admins will come in here a read your plea for help
3) You don't tell them what your user login is so they can't even identify you

Are you expecting mercy coins?

Don't sweat it, the auto payouts were b/s anyways. You set an interval and an amount, rather than just an amount cap to payout at. Never made sense to me.

Anyways, this is horseshit at this point, I'm calling this a huge scam. No updates, pool still running. At the VERY least they should do all of us the courtesy of shutting off their pool because it's insulting at this point. There's no payouts so why should they get free BTC from everyone?

I lost about 0.2BTC. Which isn't as much as most people here, but it's still a FELONY.

Nobody lost 40 BTC or 333 BTC.. 50BTC went down because the payout amounts were wrong and I'm guessing someone cashed out big. My account says I'm owed 21 BTC but I realize that it is innacurate.

I do not understand why it took so long to restore everyone's balance? Shouldn't there be some backup copy of the database?
(I only have about 0.01 btc there, not a lot compared to others here)

the problem is when you know the right balance...and you know how many months you have to pay the electric bill to mine then you realize that you got screwed it's a big problem.
i konw that i mined around 130-140 btc on that pool 30 btc was send on 24bitcoin, i got them back, 20 btc are on mtgox and the rest of them are in 50btc.
i know that my ballance say that i have mined 270 btc...that is not true...but the 82 btc are the real deal and i invest a lot of money to make them.
and stop with "is not a banck" i pay a fee, that money is for the safety of the site implicitly for the safety of my btc!!!
and if they will not do anyting why not to sue them? i have my data, i want only my btc back!
info about the owner?

I had 2 avalons mining on 50btc from day 1. 173BTC was mined in total, I only ever withdrew +/- 50% of the coins to cash out. 91 BTC was definitely lost over here  Roll Eyes. It's pretty disgusting really, disgustingly painful.

It's 'taking so long' because they aren't making any attempt to do so.  It's been a month since they last made any announcement/post.  Nobody should be expecting them to return at this point.

I agree, and I've already written off the 1.08 Bitcoins in my ledger. These coins were mined from my block erupters for fun while they were still semi-profitable. A relatively cheap lesson/reminder for myself overall. I don't know why I trusted a pool from Russia with unknown owners with any amount of money; laziness I guess.

Anything they return now will be a bonus.

Edit: I second the motion for this pool to be delisted and/or marked as scammers. They should have a period to respond/prepare a defense, but they've probably gone dark anyway.
