Why don't you send an email about the refund policy to every registered user instead of asking them to send a refund request? And why have you added those users in your distrust list who have left negative feedback on your account.

I second the motion. If they really want to do things properly, they should contact everyone in their database. Not ask people on this forum to contact them as the burden of effort should not fall on those to whom money is owed. Also, there are a lot of people who used to play on Betnomi who are not part of the forum.

And an explanation of the changes to the trust list would also be welcome.

Broadcasting it on their media, all of the media they have, will helps convey this refund plan better --supposing they're true with their intention.

Otherwise, I agree that only informing the refund here and TG and then giving it a 30 days deadline seems very unfair.

I understand it was a complex event and you had to proceed carefully with the investigation and the legal process. But is good to know that things are moving forward and the Refund Plan is in action.

I will miss Betnomi, it used to be a great community and their poker engine was awesome, we will not forget that Bitcointalk Poker Tournament.
Complex event? They scammed so many people out of the blue which is why no excuse would justify their actions to be honest. It's good to see them actually willing to rectify their mistake in this manner, but all refunds should be fully processed before supporting them.

It's going to be extremely tough for them to redeem themselves even after completing their refund plan.

Sending an email to all registered users sound reasonable, assuming they can truly cover all the losses, the only explanation (honest one) is the he somehow ended up losing access to the email database and cannot longer do that.
Also, adding to  distrust list to those who have red tagged Sounds rather unprofessional coming from someone who is alledgely recognizing the wrongdoing of their company and tries to fix things. What else is supposed to be a expect from a forum account of a casino which seemed to have pulled a exit scam? Are we supposed to expect people to give green feedback instead? ...

To be fair, they did also communicate it through their 2 Telegram channels. So it's not only on this forum. They could have mentioned it on their Betnomi.com website though.
Anyway, I still see little reason why all of a sudden they would have funds available now. But if they do pay me I wiill be the first to report it on here.

There have been some questions regarding the Betnomi-branded ledger device we distributed during our promotions. It is crucial to emphasize that these devices are a direct result of the Betnomi x Ledger co-branded partnership program. Just like all Ledger devices, they are manufactured and branded directly by Ledger and factory sealed by them. There is no distinction between these devices and any other Ledger Nano X.

Any claim to the contrary is blatantly false and unfounded. If the entries of one of the users are correct, then only arallmuus has not yet received the promised prize. For other users, custom wallets were delivered by postal service as promised. We have several more of these devices, and we plan to distribute them all soon.

Regarding the suggestion to send an email to users, this is clearly the most effective way to resolve this issue. However, as we mentioned in our initial statement, we do not have access to the database. We do have a limited version of the database that is shared with regulators for compliance purposes. If we had access to the actual site database, we would simply restore the site and allow users to withdraw their funds directly. Unfortunately, this is not the case, and we can only do what we can with the resources available to us.

I wil have to agree with the comment you quoted, 30 days ultimatum is too short and unfair to be honest, the fact that they announced the refund plan on their 2 telegram accounts, and as well as on this forum means nothing much.

First thing to note is that, not every of their users were on this forum, so by this, their announcement here definitely did not reach all their users.

Secondly, several of their users must have left their telegram groups or unsubscribed from their channel after what happened happened, this some people as it helps them forget about their loss and move on.

So, for the two reasons mentioned above, 30 days is unfair, and it shows they probably do not want to pay every one who lost money with them, if you guys ask me, I did say that a fair duration for the refund program to be open is one year, this is give everyone who lost money a chance to come around and reclaim their money back.

This is some great news for the community, thanks for the honesty and for explaining the full situation.

I understand it was a complex event and you had to proceed carefully with the investigation and the legal process. But is good to know that things are moving forward and the Refund Plan is in action.

I will miss Betnomi, it used to be a great community and their poker engine was awesome, we will not forget that Bitcointalk Poker Tournament.

Don't cheer too early. For now nobody has reported receiving some funds, and myself neither. I have submitted my details for the refund plan and will report here immediately if and when I have received my funds. For now I have very little confidence though.
So why not really be that positive on getting your money or funds back? Now that they've been saying about refund plan then there's no sense for you to doubt that they would be giving it out back.
Imagine on being that silent or having no word for 4 months and then they do suddenly came into this forum and telling into refunding its users to those who are affected. Then this doesnt
really sounds that good to you? Trust them but i cant really able to blame you out on why you do have such less confidence.

The important thing on here is that they do already set out steps and plans on how they would really be doing it and whats been required. So to those who are
affected then waiting game has been started. For sure this one wont really be that long.

Thank you all for your cooperation.
This is a highly commendable step from you guys,  when you mentioned earlier that you have a refund process on going I never knew you guys are going go make the process Asap like this and given a 30 days withdrawal window is a good move and I believe those that are affected by this crisis and having the funds stock in the betnomi casino will have the opportunity to make use of this window to recover they money that is stuck in the casino for over some time now,  once again this is a good step in the right directions.

The onions is still on the company to reach out to all those that have lost hope to recover what they had in the platform. Quite a number of complaints came in here on this platform and of course some customers are not part of this platform, that means you have to make effort to send mails to those. You have to be very loud about the refund process and not just on this platform.

You have to go public and on your website if you want to show sincerity. You have to also extend the window for withdrawal because one month is small considering the numbers of people who won't get the news from now till a month time.

If this is the case then they should really be refraining on kicking people into their TG but instead it would be better to make some announcement about refunding.

If they are really that serious on giving out money or refunding their users then they should really be that announcing in all possible channels and not
really just that on this thread alone as if it looks that they are really just that limiting that kind of exposure for other or users

People who are asking on their telegram, they deleted the message + kicked the person. My account is also getting banned because asking these on their telegram, not everyone is a forum geeks.

They don't have access to the site (to change MT into refund information) + people getting kicked. So, the people who are getting kick from their group will not receive any update (they're have higher chance not gonna get the refund due don't get any information at all).

No, you said you you manage to successfully retrieve a backup of your database. No mention of limited version[1]. Two things that might be interesting to point out; One, did you imply that the irresponsible person who stole your database has your customer's email addresses, and you somehow still couldn't get your hand into it although this is now a court case? If we have to exhaust every option [since you're trying your best to refund] I believe a court-appointed entity can get a hand into the database and blast an email announcing this, especially since the aim here is to make your customer whole again. And two, how will you confirm the required submission entries you propose[2], if you don't have that very database to match them up?

Any claim to the contrary is blatantly false and unfounded. If the entries of one of the users are correct, then only arallmuus has not yet received the promised prize. For other users, custom wallets were delivered by postal service as promised. We have several more of these devices, and we plan to distribute them all soon

I can testify that I havent received this but Betnomi did pmed me before about this. I didnt even know at that time that I was one of the recipient

Betnomi actually pmed me like a day or two after the whole site got shutted down asking for my delivery address so I was actually worried if their account was compromised at that time then I replied them with asking them to sort the their site's issue before sending me those ledger because it wasnt that trivial compared to the chaos back then

It means you guys have lost the database of the users who had their money on your platform and now you guys have just limited information about the users and on the basis of that information you guys are trying to accomplish the refunding program.

If I'm not wrong then most of the platforms have some kind of backup of their databases every once in a while but it seems like that you guys forgot about that back-up thing. I still hope that you guys may get success in refunding all those users who lost their money, and trust me that would be the best step any trusted platform would ever take. I know that users won't trust the Betnomi again but at least they won't call it a scam-exit thing.

Rather than taking coins or something like it, this mostly translates to security flaws, fishing campaigns against the former users of the platform, stuff like that.
It is certainly interesting Betnomi does not longer have a copy of the data base of their users anymore while the people who went rogue managed to secure a copy to sell by themselves in the dark market.

Also, regardless of the apparent mess we see and which was created by people in this casino, at least there is a real effort being done to repair what happened to all gamblers who trusted this platform. Hopefully, this screw-ups won't stop the progress which is being done.
