June 4 396 steps 33 flights of stairs took 15.15 minutes right after Breakfast. Price is 70.2k
June 5 432 steps 36 flights of stairs took 16:14 minutes right after berakfast. price is 71.3k














I am intentionally doing the stairs/steps a bit slower. I have found that my knees were feeling stressed when I did 33 flights in 13:13 time but at 15:15 time same steps were okay.

I will add to 16:16 tomorrow likely getting to 34 or 35 flights of stairs. about 420 steps of stairs.

If I can do 20 minutes and 40 flights/480 steps daily I will stay at that number. I will do the lite bike work at nite.

and I may just may try a handful of wait for it. pushups.


did 10 modified pushups.

Modified push-ups are good also for it helps to prepare the muscles for full body push-up, I think it is most done by newbie or beginners or expecially women that are struggling or practicing how to do a good push-up. Modified push-ups also works on the chest, shoulders, and arms, with your both knees and toe touching the floor when performing modified push-ups.

well the hernia repair restricts a full one but I am doing them on the stairs.  My feet are on the floor my hands are on the fourth step.

I did ten with out hurting or tugging on the  mesh.

So my body is on this angle





If I can do 10 modified pushups right after my 16:16 on the stairs. I am doing well.

I only need increase time on steps to 20 minutes
Then slowly change angle on pushups. ie put hands on third step which makes the angle closer to normal.

Something to work on the next few months.


BTW my wife came up with the modified pushup idea.
Since I joined this push-up challenge, sometimes I used to do this modified push-up with the help of my bed. One good thing about this modified push-up is that 70% or more than 70% of the gain is going directly to the chest, and it also helps widen the chest. This modified push-up is not for newbies; you need a lot of strength to keep up with your balance because it is your upper body that will do the major work.

I will think about it, and I might give it a shot one of the days after BTC hits $100k, but if I start to try to do it, and it is seeming impossible to achieve, then maybe I will abandon it.

There is no harm in giving it a shot for we may not know what we can achieve without giving it a try, you might even push-up above your plan number who knows if you also try and you notice that your body may not be able to carry it out you can abandon it just as you have said in order not to get sore in your shoulders and arms or getting muscles injuries. For me the day Bitcoin will hit $100k I will try as much as possible to see how many push-up I can be to do but my main target will be 600 push-up a day and it not going to be a morning and evening training session as usual since I have a target I will just be doing it anytime I see am bord in order to achieve a higher number if I see that my body is still strong enough to still carry out some numbers of push-up then I will continue to see the limit I will get to.

You are absolutely right @mayor of ogba this modified push ups is always the best push ups challenge, but just as you have already said earlier that's not really good for a new beginner because as a newbie you didn't know how you are going to possion while doing the modified push ups, just like me too it is always my favorite push ups challenge that I like must just this morning after doing 50 modified push ups in 2 set I was pretty good with my chest and my muscles.

I'm back in this energetic thread again, although I don't make comments here everyday, but I do follow up on the discussions. And thanks to DirtyKeyboard, I always get notifications on the progress of our bushups.

I updated my last pushups countdown here about 6 days ago, and I've only pushed for 3 days within the 6 days and I have a reason, I observed that after the days exercise I always feel very dizzy, everything will be spining like fan in my eyes. I don't know if it's because I combine the 10 sets pushups with 10 sets squatting, maybe my energy can't carry it, so I decided to be taking one full day's break for now. My wife is advising me to see a doctor, although apart from this severe dizziness, I'm not feeling sick in any way, I don't know if it's a sign of something serious to see the doctor as she advised. Is anyone in this pushups community experiencing this dizziness too?

When I started this challenge i had pains in my body I wanted to stop but I saw a post here about the health benefits of push ups and I did research about those benefits and truly those benefits are true. So I started again but I was having doubt if truly I was doing it right so I went to the gym and I was educated on how to do a proper pushups by the gym instructor he also told me that push-ups, when performed incorrectly, can cause severe damage to the joints and muscles around the shoulders and elbows.
So for this past week I have been going to the gym to do my pushups and it has been so interesting my body has now adapted to pushups and the pains has stopped totally.

You could very well be right. I have no idea how many push-ups I can do in a day. Maybe I’d hit 300 and stop or maybe I’d hit 500 and my arms would snap. Who knows? I probably wouldn’t push myself to that level, but I think I can do a lot more than 200. 800 might be ambitious, but I feel like maybe I could get there. Perhaps I should try 300 first.
Yes you can do 300 push ups first, try to increase later. If you suddenly try to do too many push-ups in one day, you will be extremely tired. Doing 800 push ups in a day will be difficult, but if you work hard you will be able to do it. Bitcoin price may still take many days to 80k, so you try to increase 400-500-600 like this. You have been doing regular push ups for a long time, hopefully you can do 800 push ups a day.

I am thinking something very similar in regards to the slowly increasing of pushups, even though there can be a general theory that if you have some kind of exercise that you are doing on a kind of maintenance level.. whether that is daily or 3 times per week, you should be able to double what you are doing on the maintenance level for a kind of one time ability to carry out.  I used to use that approach in my historical running.. and tend to train at half or maybe once in a while 3/4 of the marathon (or whatever race) distance, and then I would be able to finish the length... Of course, I am referring to a kind of amateur training approach rather than a professional training approach, yet with something like a marathon, there tends to be a desire to just finish it without having to stop.. and even better if you can run the whole time without having to walk (except maybe walking at the water breaks while you are drinking water or something like that).

So yeah with the pushups, there could be ways to add quantities of pushups each day or even once a week and also to add sets or think about how many pushups to do for each set.... or how much time to wait between each set or how to spread the sets out during the day. 

Many of us who are several months into daily pushups have already gotten over some of the worst of the initial soreness of muscles and joints, so we are likely more used to regularly doing pushups, so we do not have to be as careful in regards to major injuries or soreness that might come from just getting started with a new kind of exercise.. so then the questions come down to building up... which surely it might ONLY take a few weeks to go from 100 per day to 1000 per day on a one time splurge... there could even be a kind of increasing of the maintenance amount, and then once every several days or maybe once or twice a week do a splurge session (maybe once a week would be enough for something like that.. but if you believe waiting a whole week is too long then maybe something like every 5 days doing a splurge session)

Fair enough.  I might have read too much into the significance of your various proposals.. and I am glad that you have interests in experimenting with new things and/or mixing some of the matters up a bit.. .. .. yet I also think what is going on here is also fairly interesting in the ways that I had already stated including that we continue to have forum members newly coming to participate in reporting their pushups, which some of them may well end up on a long streak of pushups and even changing some of their own exercise habits for the better.. .. even in my own life I am describing my doing of pushups. .and some guys start consider that maybe they have to consider adding some kind of exercise to their own daily routine... so it can be interesting how these word-of-mouth matters can end up spreading.

You do have to pace yourself, and you could have lack of fluids or even lack of iron in your diet, so you can work up to certain levels of exertion, but you should also make sure your diet and sleep are reasonable... and you tend to get iron from various proteins and red meat.. and your body absorbs the iron from meat better than the iron from plants (or non-meat).

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

In as much as I don't agree with you that your pains has stopped totally, thou is a sign of progress and  i would say that you are then becoming too comfortable with a certain number of push ups which are not no longer challenging to your muscles since you are no not feeling much of the pains I will advise you or probably it is time for you to increase your number of push ups that will be a little challenging to your muscles for more muscles growth and expansion.

I can't go beyond what I'm doing right now I'm comfortable with this number, going beyond this number won't make any impact on my body and health, when I started I started with doing 30 pushups a day now I'm doing 100 pushups a day and I can't go beyond 100 pushups a day because with this number I'm getting all the health benefit I need.
I will only stick to 100 push-ups a day.

And for the pain it has really stopped, when I started this challenge I felt pains in my body and it affected my sleep but now I only experience normal little pains that comes with exercise and it stops few minutes after I stop my pushups.

It seems you guys are mistaken inclined push-up to modified push-ups for modified push-ups is not always the best push-up just as you have said not that it is not a better push-up it is for it is an open door in doing a full body push-up for it is mainly meant for that those that are finding it difficult to do a proper push-up, while inclined push-up is the one maybe you place your hands on a bench, table either your toe or hands must be place on something. They are all good pather of doing push-ups though.

From your push-up report, I can tell you just started doing push-ups two weeks ago, and it is likely this is the first time you are doing push-ups or you are active in doing push-ups. The pain you were feeling on your body is not because you balanced wrongly when you were doing push-ups; it is because you are new to doing push-ups and your body is not used to it. Before you meet your gym instructor, who guides you on the proper way to balance when doing push-ups, your body has started getting used to push-ups, which is why you are not feeling pain now. But once you break your limit in push-ups, you will start to feel pain again because your body has experienced a new thing.

I'm back in this energetic thread again, although I don't make comments here everyday, but I do follow up on the discussions. And thanks to DirtyKeyboard, I always get notifications on the progress of our bushups.

I updated my last pushups countdown here about 6 days ago, and I've only pushed for 3 days within the 6 days and I have a reason, I observed that after the days exercise I always feel very dizzy, everything will be spining like fan in my eyes. I don't know if it's because I combine the 10 sets pushups with 10 sets squatting, maybe my energy can't carry it, so I decided to be taking one full day's break for now. My wife is advising me to see a doctor, although apart from this severe dizziness, I'm not feeling sick in any way, I don't know if it's a sign of something serious to see the doctor as she advised. Is anyone in this pushups community experiencing this dizziness too?

There might be couple of reasons for having dizziness. Might be you're pushing your body harder than it can handle or maybe lack of blood sugar.

When I started this challenge i had pains in my body I wanted to stop but I saw a post here about the health benefits of push ups and I did research about those benefits and truly those benefits are true. So I started again but I was having doubt if truly I was doing it right so I went to the gym and I was educated on how to do a proper pushups by the gym instructor he also told me that push-ups, when performed incorrectly, can cause severe damage to the joints and muscles around the shoulders and elbows.
So for this past week I have been going to the gym to do my pushups and it has been so interesting my body has now adapted to pushups and the pains has stopped totally.

Ill rather change my quality of pushups than adapt both quality and quantity at the same time. If you take a deep reason on it, you will understand that one will catch fatigue or something along the line ( it will be very tiring that we may not complete our daily goal). Imagine increasing your quality of pushups which requires more accuracy and paying attention to details, then at the same period increasing from 20 to 40 pushups a set. That is way too much for anyone, perhaps there are pros but if a pro does 100 then increasing to 200 with high quality its as well too much for him.

June 4 396 steps 33 flights of stairs took 15.15 minutes right after Breakfast. Price is 70.2k
June 5 432 steps 36 flights of stairs took 16:14 minutes right after breakfast price is 71.3k
June 6 450 steps. 37.5 flights of stairs 17:17 minutes  right after lunch price is 71.4k












I am intentionally doing the stairs/steps a bit slower. I have found that my knees were feeling stressed when I did 33 flights in 13:13 time but at 15:15 time same steps were okay.

I will add to 16:16 tomorrow likely getting to 34 or 35 flights of stairs. about 420 steps of stairs.

If I can do 20 minutes and 40 flights/480 steps daily I will stay at that number. I will do the lite bike work at nite.

and I may just may try a handful of wait for it. pushups.

did 10 modified pushups.

Modified push-ups are good also for it helps to prepare the muscles for full body push-up, I think it is most done by newbie or beginners or expecially women that are struggling or practicing how to do a good push-up. Modified push-ups also works on the chest, shoulders, and arms, with your both knees and toe touching the floor when performing modified push-ups.

well the hernia repair restricts a full one but I am doing them on the stairs.  My feet are on the floor my hands are on the fourth step.

I did ten with out hurting or tugging on the  mesh.

So my body is on this angle





If I can do 10 modified pushups right after my 16:16 on the stairs. I am doing well.

I only need increase time on steps to 20 minutes
Then slowly change angle on pushups. ie put hands on third step which makes the angle closer to normal.

Something to work on the next few months.


BTW my wife came up with the modified pushup idea.
Since I joined this push-up challenge, sometimes I used to do this modified push-up with the help of my bed. One good thing about this modified push-up is that 70% or more than 70% of the gain is going directly to the chest, and it also helps widen the chest. This modified push-up is not for newbies; you need a lot of strength to keep up with your balance because it is your upper body that will do the major work. 
You are absolutely right @mayor of ogba this modified push ups is always the best push ups challenge, but just as you have already said earlier that's not really good for a new beginner because as a newbie you didn't know how you are going to possion while doing the modified push ups, just like me too it is always my favorite push ups challenge that I like must just this morning after doing 50 modified push ups in 2 set I was pretty good with my chest and my muscles.
It seems you guys are mistaken inclined push-up to modified push-ups for modified push-ups is not always the best push-up just as you have said not that it is not a better push-up it is it is an open door in doing a full body push-up for it is mainly meant for that those that are finding it difficult to do a proper push-up, while inclined push-up is the one maybe you place your hands on a bench, table either your toe or hands must be placed on something. They are all good pather of doing push-ups though.
I think it is the name that is confusing you. The picture philipma1957 posted here is a good example of an inclined push-up because if you place yourself the way he explained the picture, you will position yourself in an inclined plane position. Before philipma1957 will do push-ups, he must place his hand on the staircase so that he will balance his body in the right way, and that also fits into your explanation of an inclined push-up. I would also like to call it an advanced push-up because it is not a regular push-up.

Today in the evening around 4-5pm in my area, the rain drizzled leaving the environment either for weather for two or weather for tea. So I decided to take my pushup tea and it worked wonders leaving me active for such weather condition.

I've gotten 130 push-ups in today.  I think I'm going to go for 300 just to push myself a little bit and see if I'm delusional about the possibility of doing 800 in a day (quite possible).  So far so good though.  I'll be able to hit 200 I think without much effort.  After that it might get a little difficult.  Actually, let me bang out another 20 real quick so I can say I am halfway to my goal for the day...

...alright, that was a quick 30.  160 on the day en route to 300.  I'm going to space them out quite a bit in an attempt to make it easier on me so I'm not sore when I get my 100 in tomorrow.
