Ademola Lukuman on the other hand is a great winger that has won the hearth of several Nigerians, his performances are well recognized since in the AFCON days, and he again has helped the Super Eagles of Nigerian to win another match today as he net brace today. The game ending at 3-0 is very pleasant but it's not much to based on the expression on the faces of Nigeria players especially Osimhen, even though from our view it's a good one but the players seems not satisfied with 3, goals maybe they expected more than that but they ended up having a little hard time with Benin Republic.

Lookman is really building a very impressive future if we observe him very well because he doesn't see the game as a normal game but he takes it very competitive, and for Boniface his probably not on his best day because he missed alot but we can't conclude what was with him today although sometimes people do have a bad day maybe today was his.

What a wonderful day for the Super Eagles of Nigeria with an outstanding performance without a head coach but just an Intrim coach. Nigeria was able to score three goals on clean sheet, what tgey could not do when they had a coach. I could remember that the first leg was in favor of Benin because they won Nigeria 2-1.

This is the best result Nigeria have gotten since 4 years ago. I am happy that Osimhen was able to come from the bench and netted the post to give Nigeria the second goal.

The 2-1 was not for the AFCON Qualifiers but for world cup Qualifiers which Nigeria lost all their three legs in the group. They played 3 matches and won 0 and loss 3. And today Match was African Nations Cup (AFCON) so they were two different Match. And from the Super Eagles displayed today, I discovered that their problem is just a good management. If good coach manage the team then they can do well.

The coach should know when to substitute the players then everything is well set for Super Eagles. Bravos to Super Eagles today. From this game Victor Osimhen new team will be very happy. This is another way of selling himself good.

Victor Boniface did had a good performance today but was just unable to convert the few chances he got though none of those chances can be termed "clear" chance. Despite not being able to find the back of the net, I don't think there's anyone who'll want to underestimate his capabilities just because of how things played out for him in that game against Benin . The good thing for Nigeria is that they convincingly defeated their visitors and I know Victor Boniface is very happy with his sides impressive win despite not being on the score sheet.

It is nice to see Nigeria winning by 3 goals to nothing for Benin. However let's admit that Nigeria players are way better than Benin. The number of goals is the interesting part of this game, in addition to Osimhen participation and goal.
Next match for Super Eagles is against Rwanda which ended its match with Libya by a one goal draw for each team.
The group of Nigeria is quite easy in my opinion and they should grab all points without a lot of efforts in my opinion.

If you look at it very well, Finidi was tribal sentimental without taking time to set up his squad and the first thing to do was to reshuffle the team without knowing how they played in the team. That was the mistake he did. There are something do not any sentiment if the best can come from another areas then use it to achieve the goal. Finidi almost destroy Super Eagles. And if this present squad that played yesterday was the one played in the World Cup Qualifiers, they would have done well like this.

I actually share the same sentiment as you bro, ademola lookman has proven to be the sole candidate to win this year African best player because he won the uefa Europa league last season which he scored a hatrick in the finals, and he has already took that form with him into this season with a stellar performance for club and country, so it would be very much unfair if he is not the winner of this year African best because no African player right now achieved more than him last season.

It's not about hype, Osimhen is our African Ronaldo and Messi combined. The pride of every natural nine is their art of positioning and finishing touches, these two qualities are present in him and he's proved it times without numbers. It's unfortunate that Napoli refused to agree deal with PSG after the player already agreed personal terms. Without doubt, he'll definitely do great things there considering the fact it's a famous club in Europe but there's a long way to go and I wish him best of career at Galatasary.

Lookman is a silent achiever in that squad. To some extent, it's unfair how we overlooked Lookman and celebrate, praise and give all the accolades to Osimhen even after Lookman has proven himself severally. Funny enough it was Osimehn the crowd was cheering. Immediately he came into the game, the confidence of the Super Eagles fans were high and they believed he would score for them and he did not fail. What really caused his downfall was the losing of the game World Cup Qualifiers games and not really the drift between him and Osimhen. It was because of the losing of the game made people angry when he made the utterance. And he he didn't win any of the match, people (fans) started to ask him to leave the Super Eagles. And Victor Osimhen response also contributed to it. And as it is Nigerians are happy that he left and players were well organized and they beat Benin Republic 3-0. Nigerians are not interested in their cool war fight but we arw interested in winning the matches. I have a friend who betted on Benin Republic to win against Nigeria I don't know what gave him that morale or wasn't he aware that Finidi George is no longer our head coach even at that he should've been aware of the current form of our Nigerian attackers, especially Lookman and Osimhen so I don't think the risk he took was worth it, anyways I'm very impressed with how our boys defeated Benin Republic and NFF did a good job by bringing back Austin Eguavon, I believe Nigeria would come out superior in the group D, qualifying for the AFCON wouldn't be something difficult for the Super Eagles and they've proved that with this recent victory against Benin Republic. The Super Eagles has indeed changed. This is not the same team we saw under José Peseiro. The body language of the players show that they are more relaxed and confident in their game. As for the Victor Osimhen- Finidi George saga, there are still fans who think Osimhen should be fined or face disciplinary action for stepping out of line. Perhaps Osimhen shouldn’t have been allowed to play for the national team until he tends a public apology to Finidi George. What Osimhen said about Finidi George was unacceptable and there has to be a reprimand for what he did. But from the reaction of the fans yesterday after Osimhen scored that goal, you could sense there was a general feeling of love and support from the fans, his teammates and even the assistant coaches. I have never seen this team so unified like this before. It is probably in the best interest of the team that any former issues be resolved so we can focus on winning games.  I want to see the players maintain this momentum and prove to the skeptics when we play Rwanda that this performance is not a one-off thing.

Congratulations to the Super Eagles new head coach Buruno Labbadia; he is very lucky to get a win in his first match, and the way he set up his team is very good and if the Super Eagles can keep it up this way, the team will get huge success because there are players the only problem is the coaching.

It is nice to see Nigeria winning by 3 goals to nothing for Benin. However let's admit that Nigeria players are way better than Benin. The number of goals is the interesting part of this game, in addition to Osimhen participation and goal.
Next match for Super Eagles is against Rwanda which ended its match with Libya by a one goal draw for each team.
The group of Nigeria is quite easy in my opinion and they should grab all points without a lot of efforts in my opinion.

I was happy that Nigeria dealt with Benin mercilessly yesterday and their opponents was unable to find their bearing on the pitch. It showed that Benin team is very weak and the Super Eagles took advantage of that to score as much goals as possible.

I enjoyed the match because Nigeria played like the old Super Eagles during the time of Okocha and Kanu because you will see the zeal and passion in the players to win the match. I believe Nigeria will win their next match if they can play thos way.

If you look at it very well, Finidi was tribal sentimental without taking time to set up his squad and the first thing to do was to reshuffle the team without knowing how they played in the team. That was the mistake he did. There are something do not any sentiment if the best can come from another areas then use it to achieve the goal. Finidi almost destroy Super Eagles. And if this present squad that played yesterday was the one played in the World Cup Qualifiers, they would have done well like this.

Ekong id very good in the defense while Victor Osimhen is very good with the striking.

Just as in the case of Sunday Oliseh, I think Finidi George was not mature enough to handle the national team. Managing the Super Eagles involved a lot of tolerance, tact, teamwork and experience. The coach will have to face pressure from politicians, players and the impatient fans.

There were reports that he had to include some players because they were recommended by some top politicians. He could not also unite the squad when he went ahead to make some unguided utterance about Osimhen. This led to the fractionalization of the teams and he lost the support of many key players. Nigerians also contributed to his woes because of their harsh criticism and lack of support. Sunday Oliseh would have been a good choice to replace the former Ajax winger because he now understands the operation of the Nigerian National team. But Augustine Eguavoen is doing a good job and deserves to remain interim coach.

Congratulations to the Super Eagles, they brought joy to Nigerians at a time when the economy is biting hard.

What really caused his downfall was the losing of the game World Cup Qualifiers games and not really the drift between him and Osimhen. It was because of the losing of the game made people angry when he made the utterance. And he he didn't win any of the match, people (fans) started to ask him to leave the Super Eagles. And Victor Osimhen response also contributed to it. And as it is Nigerians are happy that he left and players were well organized and they beat Benin Republic 3-0. Nigerians are not interested in their cool war fight but we arw interested in winning the matches. And even the fight was started by the former coach who blamed Osimhen that he didn't do well for not allowing him to the bench. Really till now most of us don't know what George Finidi said to Osimhen. But we are just collecting different stories from different sources.

What you said is the exact thing and that has been on ground in the area of Nigeria National Football Team. And that is why the best is always benched. And I don't know why politicians are also interested in the area of football. When they know that the person they are bringing is not competent and because of the salary and allowances, they push those guys forward to play and Finidi fall for their trap.

I was initially happy when Finidi George was appointed the Super Eagles head coach, but the truth of the matter is that Finidi George was just too sentimental with his position as head coach of the Nigerian national team, we are talking of his rift with Victor Osimhen without even talking of how he drop Ekong from captainship of the national team because of a clueless central back he brought from Tanzania league.

And just as you rightfully said, all his claims that Victor Osimhen did this or that would have made a lot of sense if the Super Eagles team were winning, but they were not, you can't be using your sentiment or grudges on a sets of players to spoil the chances of the Super Eagles qualifying for the world cup being a head coach, so to me, his sacking was well deserved.

And lastly, I was really impressed by the Super Eagles performance yesterday, even though some players wasn't up to standard, but it was just a walk in the park for our Super Eagles yesterday, a team they would have definitely struggle to beat if Finidi George was still the manager of the team, so it's a good thing he is no longer the coach of the super eagles.
