I don't know why Atletico Madrid are still unable to score a goal. I know one thing here. Botafogo surprised all of us by beating PSG with a defensive game. But this is a really critical match. It is why I expected more from Atletico Madrid.

They have 15 shots but still only 3 on target. If they don't win they are saying goodbye to the tournament in group stage already. I still want to believe in them to find the winning goal somehow. But as far as I know only a 1-0 win won't be enough for them to advance.

Calling Seattle Sounders a weak team is logical as they haven't been able to secure a single point in their group which has led them to be at the bottom but including PSG seems disrespectful because they're currently second in the group above ATM who are with 3 points just as PSG. However , I agree with you that PSG will win this match due to the importance of the match to them.

PSG from their current match, they have already secured their spot for the next phase of the competition if they finished the game like this because they are currently winning 2-0 and we have less than 25 minutes in the match.  From their performance, I don’t think they can lose or draw this match, they might even score more goals before the end of the match because they dominated the game.

While Atletico Madrid needs to win their match with plenty goals margin before they can be able to qualify. The team they playing against right now Botafogo arenas six points, if they held PSG to a draw, they will definitely qualify to the next round with PSG; therefore, Atletico Madrid needs to put in more effort in the remain time to score goals.

Botafogo is really showing great strength against Atletico Madrid after they won PSG in their last game we knew that Atletico Madrid won't find it easy and it seems they will be bidding the Club World Cup goodbye in this group stage because even if the win Botafogo with just a lone goal, Botafogo will still come out second since they have a higher goal difference which means the chances of Atletico Madrid going past this group stage is very slim. I think the Botafogo team have a good goalkeeper and a formidable defense which is why Atletico Madrid have not been able to score.

I staked Atletico Madrid to score and i wish they score before full time because PSG whom i accumulated alongside Atletico Madrid game is already winning. Just one goal from Atletico Madrid and i will have a won bet.

Manchester City are like Bayern, they have no mercy for weak opponents. At the end of the second round of matches, they secured their place in the group with Juventus. They are one of the favorites for the cup.

PSG finally managed to score a goal against Seattle Sounders and it is strange that it took PSG almost 40 minutes, because the class of the teams is very different. PSG's victory in this match will automatically take them out of the group, but Atletico will most likely not go further, because so far they have a draw with Botafogo.
I think that Atletico will be the first team that will not get out of the group, but we must admit that Botofago shows great play and deserve to get out of the group.

No surprises in Group G, both Juventus and Man City are now guaranteed to go through to the round of 16. The only uncertainty is who will advance from first place and who will take second place. This will be decided in a direct game between those 2 teams, but I don't expect it to be a fierce rivalry, as it probably doesn't matter that much.

There might also be a concern whether there will be any motivation in the last round game between Wydad and Al Ain as both of them will be going home anyway. But a quick search tells me that there's a $2 million bonus for a win of a group stage match ($1 million for a draw), which could be enough of a motivation for Wydad, who are not as wealthy (or state-sponsored) as Al Ain. I read that Wydad's entire annual revenue is ~$12m, so earning an extra $2m would make a big impact.

Botafogo is currently one of the strongest teams in Brazil. I’m not a big fan of the club or their style of play, but it’s hard not to be impressed by what the club has accomplished in recent years, going from bankrupt to practically a powerhouse in Brazilian football, thanks to a major investor who acquired the club and overhauled its management. Botafogo and other Brazilian teams are still going to surprise a lot of people in this Club World Cup.

The match is almost over and they are required to win by a goal difference of more than 2 if they really want to qualify for the next phase but until now they still haven't scored a goal in a condition where there are only 10 minutes left for now.

Obviously this is a bit difficult for Atletico even though their dominance is very good but it seems that their passive is active where they can't make on target to the opponent's goal because looking at the shot attempts that were made, there were actually a lot of them but if we look at the on target we only see 2 or 3 that can be done until the 80th minute.

On the other hand, it seems that Botafogo is quite eager to secure a draw because with this result they will qualify and become the leader of the standings which makes them more enthusiastic in the game even though they are more defensive but that is enough for them to maintain their position.
They only need to hold on even if they lose if it's only a narrow score of 1 goal they will still qualify with better goal productivity.

Several teams in the group stage are already guaranteed to advance regardless of the results of their third match. In Group A - Palmeiras and Inter Miami are already qualifying, while Botafogo, Bayern Munich and Flamengo will all represent their respective groups in qualifying. Many others are yet to be confirmed - but Juventus and Manchester City are also set to advance.

The 3/3 match will be an interesting one because either team that wants to qualify still needs to play well and win the game. It will be a game that will decide whether they make it to the last 16 or go home early - but I think the favourites will probably make it to the last 16.

Even playing with only 10 players from the 7th minute, we managed to score 3 goals and won the game. I know that Pachuca is the weakest opponent in that group, but I had the impression that the coach corrected some things that happened in the last game.

Real Madrid were better than they were against Al Hilal. They played better, they connected better, created more chances and were more fluid. They also pressed better than they had previously. Although Real Madrid were not overly good, they played better, and one reason why I'm not going to criticise Madrid is because they were a man down from the 7th minute or thereabout.
I'm talking about criticising Madrid because they allowed a team like Pachuca to create too many chances and have too many chances on target. Even with a red card, a team like that shouldn't be having 10 shots on target against Madrid, which shows that there is still a lot of room for improvement. I believe they will get better with time, because if that is how they'll play when the season starts, then they will not achieve much.

Who else thinks that Barcelona would have made a better representation for Spanish Laliga than Atletico Madrid? I think that it was unfair using the criteria that was used to disqualify Barcelona. Atletico Madrid isn't fun to watch and they just win the roughest of ways.
Congratulations to botafogo I believe they deserve to qualify and they still have alot to give in this competition and I would be following them up.
PSG may have messed up in their previous match but they showed their Class again today and cemented their spot as favorite to win the competition.

Real Madrid are bouncing back to peak and we've seen how they play against elite oppositions and average. Xabi Alonso is this rare manager that capitalize winnings and wouldn't trade his losses for anything. Remember Xabi Alonso is new to the system and have been playing hard enough to win matches for Real Madrid, there's always enough time for him to place himself in a standard where everyone tend to become determined and serious on the pitch. I've this feelings that Xabi Alonso is a disciplinary coach that will apply strategies to keep his players intact and checked.

Real Madrid previous game, it was shocking to see them coming out to win oppositions with good number of goals. It shown the world that Real Madrid are not finish, rather they're ongoing growth and will be acclaimed to be the most outstanding club.

Let's face the fact about this Atletico Madrid team, they are one of the top terrible club in the top division in Europe that I have ever seen in the World of football, like they'll make one of the best playing team to start misbehaving and to even hang on to the ball and create chances will be a big problem, it only takes few clubs who have mastered their kind of play to handle this crazy style of football they play, thanks to PSG in this competition.
I never thought that I'd see Botafogo play like they haven't played one of the best in Europe in this FIFA Club World Cup, like they were poor and I wonder if this was the team (Botafogo) that beat PSG some days back, this football is just crazy. Atletico Madrid are not suppose to be in this competition because for the past how many seasons like 4 to 5 seasons now they still have this defensive and lack of attacking force in them and I wonder why Simone hasn't done something about it, no wonder Barcelona and Madrid do take advantage of their poor display every season. All the same, congratulations to Botafogo for their outstanding display in this group stage, let's see how they manage in next round.

What a surprise I may say in a group that contains two European giants including European champions League winners Botafogo was able to get six points and ended second place in the group with six points this is just to show that the quality of league and players in the South American continent is top notch

PSG won their game 2-0 and easily as expected are in the playoffs while Atletico Madrid was only able to win 1-0 against Botafogo and that wasnt enough for them because they needed to score more goals to qualify. So we will see in the playoffs from this group PSG and Botafogo. This wasnt expected that Botafogo would qualify in the group

Indeed Barcelona would performed better than Atletico Madrid in terms of gameplay and maybe results. In fact, we all know how Atletico Madrid play, defence, hold the ball, defence, make the opponent crazy, attract them to your zone then attack them. This kind of Simeone strategy is so boring for the other clubs that doesn't study his style very well and wasn't especially used on it practically.
At the end Botafogo ended second thanks to their defence line since they didn't receive a lot of goals.
Next match will be interesting between Porto and Al Ahly. Porto could advance if they were able to win with as many goals as possible and wait for Inter Miami to be knocked by Palmeiras.

Weird to see none is talking about City's big win. They won 6-0 against al Ain.Their new signing Cherki and Echeverri are ballers in this game by scoring one for each. I also see a very good gameplay from them, which is always pressing their opponent.
They look so capable enough to fight the best team next season. City's winning team seems back.

Undoubtely, Pep has signed some capable players who can fit his strategy well. His team looks fresh and fully energized with the new players joined in the squad.

I was very impressed with the massive goals scored by Manchester City, but still despise scoring many goals Juventus are still leading with just a goal different. Actually, the reason why I am fully backing Pep Guardiola was due to his recent performance in the Premier League, it was so annoying to see a great coach like him performing in that manner but despite that I still respect him because he's a legend, he has done a very good work in his previous clubs which also make him outshine some of the popular managers. What are expected them to do is what just happening in these their second match of the league, I was impressed now there will face each other then from there we will know who will top the table before the next round. The match will be a little bit tough since their are have the same points and both will like to finish group stage unbeaten, it looks like their match will end draw.

...these guys don't need to be big or too strong to beat Madrid when every odds are in their favor with the red card that was shown to the Madrid defender Asensio, this was an opportunity for Pacucha to get all 3pt but the threw that chance away and it seems they're leaving the competition after playing their last game.

The odds was in their favour after Real Madrid's player got booked but Madrid is Madrid that's why just like Luzin said, they managed to win, cause despite the challenge the red card brought them and the lack of shots compared to the one of Pachuca, they still scored 3 goals. If it was the other way round, I don't think Pachuca would even scored a goal, if they couldn't beat Madrid that was one man down you should imagine what the result would've been if they were given the red card. It's like that red card brought out the seriousness in them cause if they've lost that match, they would've been in 3rd place currently moreover they'll be meeting Salzburg next, a more tougher team in their group. One thing I took of is Arnold's performance, i thnk he'll shine in well he's Madrid he's an experienced player so I'm not really suprised.

You are absolutely right because Pachuca wasn't clinical in any way but those chances that could have given them the goals they needed was thrown away and they lost their heads in that game, if it was Salzburg it would have been a different ball game. When Madrid scored 2 goals the whole pressure was on Pachuca and you could see Vinicius Jr giving the fans some fancy style of play that we hardly see him do in la Liga so let's see it as a training session for Madrid because their opponent went offline in that game after the red card.
Madrid's last game will be tough and I don't expect Salzburg to play something similar to what Pachuca played because we all are expecting something exciting because I need to see that force Madrid used with a man down to play in their last game and not a side that is struggling with form.
You talked about Alexander Arnold, he hasn't started yet, this is just the beginning and he'll be better than some of Madrid's new signings including Mbappe on his first season.
