Likewise me I'd really love Paris saint Germain to win this FIFA club world cup, because their performance in the league and the UCL really impress me so I will like it if the win this competition to make sure they win every thing in a blink of an eye, like the  one thing that amaze me about that team is how they manage to win a treble of which many teams with lots of UCL did not have except for their domestic treble, but Paris saint Germain was fortunate to have won it and it's a big shot for them.

Don't forget that a lower level team utterly confused Paris Saint-Germain Football Club in a Club World Cup match because they were able to win that match. But this team may face a very easy opponent in the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup, even though it has some iconic players attached to it. So perhaps all the hopes of the current UEFA Champions League champions are on that match, as they will face off against their former player Lionel Messi's team. Inter Miami managed to draw in their last match, I think that match is what allowed them to make it to the knockout stages of this tournament, even to my knowledge Inter Miami Club managed to become the runner-up in Group A of the FCWC tournament.

Their are results which were not expected like Real Madrid playing a draw against Al Hilal, such results have made this tournament exciting as every team has to give it's best to qualify for the next round.

PSG finally managed to score a goal against Seattle Sounders and it is strange that it took PSG almost 40 minutes, because the class of the teams is very different. PSG's victory in this match will automatically take them out of the group, but Atletico will most likely not go further, because so far they have a draw with Botafogo.
I think that Atletico will be the first team that will not get out of the group, but we must admit that Botofago shows great play and deserve to get out of the group.

2 goals have been made by PSG for a while, which makes PSG have pocketed a place to the next round because up to now the total goals scored by PSG in 3 matches are 6 and only 2 conceded. Note: this number can change depending on the final result of this match.

Atletico Madrid, which seems to have no chance of catching up with PSG because the score is still tied. If it continues to survive like the current situation, then Bitafogo will be the team to qualify with PSG. Of course, Botofago's valuable capital is winning twice in group B.
There is no other choice for ATM, except to win.

Even that win didn't help Atletico and it turned out that Botafogo and PSG went on.
Atletico hasn't won a title since they were win Laliga 21, so again they will have to wait another year this time.
Also with Atletico out of the European teams is Porto, who drew with Al Ahli in a tense 4-4 match and now Inter Miami Messi and Palmeiras are through.

The championship is gaining momentum and with each match the intrigue grows and after leaving the group, there will be no passing and weak teams.

Not it's time to decide the promoting clubs in Group C...

My expectation from the Benfica vs Bayern Munich game is a draw. Honestly I don't expect Benfica to lose tonight. This would be enough result for them to secure 2nd place.

Boca Juniors have a really comfortable game. Auckland City are not much different than San Marino among national teams.    But they'll still be out as long as Benfica get at least 1 point.

Both matches are still scoreless. I expect Boca Juniors to win for sure. Their opponents are currently the weakest team in the tournament. They have conceded 15 goals in two matches, which is probably the highest goal conceded average in club World Cup history. I think the Argentine team can score a lot of goals against them in this match. The other match looks very exciting. Both Benfica and Bayern Munich have some important players on the bench. Let's have an enjoyable match in two matches. Benfica must definitely win this match, otherwise if they have a high goal difference, the Argentine team will advance to the next round.

Though the psg vs botafogo was a really big surprise to many but in a competition like this, anything can happen, when I will start judging this top European team are when they can't make it out of their group, that's when I will judge them harshly, because in my own opinion they are already tired from a long season, so they didn't get the desired rest like most of these south and north American teams.
Furthermore, the level of interest European teams have for this trophy is a bit lower than the south and north American teams which are their greatest rivals for this trophy, but in due time the boys will be separated from the men, it's just a matter of time.

On a good day, I think inter Miami is a match up against PSG but with all the surprising results I have been seeing I won't be suprised if any new upset can happen in that game but I doubt if PSG is gonna let their chance of adding the club world cup to their trophy cabinet slide past them so I believe they will advance to the next round by defeating inter Miami and even the next opponent, I believe these boys.

This is definitely gonna be a win for the Bundesliga side unless maybe the coach will just field in some random players and from their Benfica might win. But I feel that Bayern will want to top the group so they might likely all go out for the win. Benfica is second on their table with 4 points and Boca junior has only 1 point but might qualify if they win Auckland City and if Benfica losses against Bayern Munich. Benfica qualification hangs in the balance because with the way Auckland plays it's almost certain that Boca Junior will beat Auckland City.

Bayern Munich are already at the top of the table, and they will not like to lose the game against Benfica, although the game is already ongoing and Benfica are already one game ahead of Bayern Munich. I have the hope that Bayern Munich will score a goal even though they haven’t gotten any shots on target yet, but there is a hope that they will be able to meet up either in the first half or the second, but I still have much hope for Bayern Munich, more than for Benfica. Although it is just a game, we might end up seeing Benfica winning the game with this 1 goal from the first 15 minutes of the start of the game.

Yeah, it's going to plan for Benfica at the moment, right now they are not just winning but also leading in the standings of the group as this 1 - 0 against Bayern Munich has caterpulted them to the summit of the group temporarily pending the outcome of the final result of the match. Benfica to survive for next stage just needs not to lose to Bayern Munich and it wouldn't matter anymore if Boca junior score 10 goals against Auckland City.

It looks like Boca Juniors will find themselves out of the tournament soon. I mean at least according to the current scores. Benfica will even finish the group as the leader if they keep their current advantage and win.

To be honest today is better than tomorrow's matches. At least we have this matchup I mentioned. It is usually more fun to watch the matches of European teams against each other. I'm waiting for the Juventus-Manchester City one in 2 days just because of that.

 It's not impossible for what you said to happen because everyone knows that this Auckland City are very poor and all the other teams in their group are using them to get points and pile up goals so if Boca Juniors can seize this opportunity and get more goals in the second half, it would give them a chance. As for the Benfica game, I'm keeping my fingers crossed because you may think that they have got their shit together but Bayern Munich would just come from under and win the game. That was the same thing they did to Boca Juniors who were the same club to hold Benfica to a draw.

 This game is much more interesting than the one that was played last night, although they were a different group, I expected that Botafogo would have caused a lot of issues for Atletico Madrid.
Benfica are no strangers to playing Bayern Munich so I feel that this game would ask a lot from Vincent Kompany's men which is a good thing because to me it's as if they have been lucky all through this group stages, so this is their first real competition and they are struggling. Let's see if they can come back or the fire with which Benfica started with in the first half would carry them for the remaining 45 minutes.

Bayern Munich went with their second squad and is playing how much they need to. Benfica took one counter attack and scored a goal and that is why they are leading 1-0 at halftime. They parked the bus now and Bayern Munich cannot break it so far and i think Benfica will be really satisfied if the result stays the same

Who would have thought that Athletico Madrid won't be qualifying that Group B with PSG. I least expected them to be eliminated in the group stage of this tournament since the toughest opponent was just PSG. Kudos to Botofago. I look to see them beating Palmares in the next round. Meanwhile, I can't wait to see Lionel Messi face his former teammates when  Inter Miami faces PSG. It's going to to be an interesting setpiece of a game to watch. Tougher matches are now unfolding in this club world cup unlike when it initially started, was so boring.

Time to laugh at Simeone. I can't remember the last time Atletico looked like a team that was improving. If you don't count the temporary improvements like at the start of last season, but only against the background of previous declines.
On the one hand, they were unlucky to lose on additional parameters, as they let a team they beat in a face-to-face game pass them. But on the other hand, 0-4 from PSG is a disgrace + Botafogo managed to beat PSG. It is difficult to come up with a fair outcome here, but everything was in Atletico's hands - they knew in advance that they had to win big against Botafogo, but they could not.

How could Atletico win big against Botafogo, they had no other choice when facing opponents with strong defense. Because, Simeone had difficulty when facing opponents with solid defense, you could say this is karma because they also often play a defensive strategy.

For me personally, Atletico should change coaches, Simeone has been at Atletico Madrid for a long time but there has been no significant development every season, it always stagnates. What's even more embarrassing, Atletico Madrid's failure in the Club World Cup made them the first European team to be eliminated from this year's Club World Cup.

Atletico really had no room for error before this match — they needed to beat Botafogo by at least three goals, and you could feel that urgency from the first minute. The team created enough to score three or more (3.03 xG), but it just wasn’t their night. VAR took away a first-half penalty, chances kept slipping, and even Griezmann’s late goal wasn’t enough. Their exit is definitely the biggest shock of the 2025 Club World Cup. Still, they fell short in a group that sent through the reigning Champions League and Copa Libertadores winners — so the level was brutal.

Bayern Munich scored but it was cancelled for offside, that would have also changed the dynamics of the game and the standings as well. Seems like Benfica don't need to bother themselves anymore because as of now, the Boca Junior game is levelled on 1 - 1 and the game is even interrupted at the moment. Who would have thought that Bayern will be in second at any point in this group stage, they won their first two games and were on the summit with a +11 goal difference whereas Benfica struggled in their first game against Boca junior and came alive in the second game to beat Auckland City.
