the thing here is that the teams from south Americans, north Americans, Asia and Africa takes this tournament  as a very big tournament but the teams from Europe doesn't sees it as such, and if am not mistaken, if they have the choice to turn this competition down without no punishment, most of this European football team that are in the tournament would have done it because their football calendar is just too busy for them to be adding more, after coming from a long and higher level of competitive league campaign, so most of this Europeans football clubs sees this tournament as an added stress to their already busy schedule.

I feel no sorry for Porto actually because they were not good enough to qualify to the next round of the competition, out of three games they only got two, which shows that they weren't good enough for the next round, it was atletico madrid that I feel pity for, because they tried, but they were just unlucky to be knockout on goal difference.

It was a good prediction. Betting on over 1.5 goals in the Atlético Madrid vs Botafogo match is very risky for me. Both Atletico Madrid and Botafogo have strong defences, and Botafogo previously managed to withstand every PSG attack. And for the PSG vs Sounders match, PSG actually wasted a lot of good opportunities. While the Sounders are actually easier to beat with a big score but unfortunately PSG underestimated the team too much to fail to score a big score.

Luckily, I used a single bet. So I still got 1 win from 2 matches. For now, parlay is not good for me.

Porto had one of the worst seasons in the last 10 years, and their performance in this tournament was proof of that.

Despite the financial benefits, most European clubs (especially the very big ones) were not very happy with this tournament. But this reaction is also usually caused by it being something new and at the end of a very long epoch. If the tournament really does return in this format, things could be different.

European clubs are complaining that there are too many games per season. In my opinion, the problem is that they want to play every game with the same players. The squads need to get bigger and give more players opportunities. If they really start rotating more players in games, there won't be this generalized fatigue.

Lionel Messi inter Miami are through to the next phase of the FIFA club World Cup. I must confess I didn’t expect them to get to the next phase, I predicted palmeiras and Porto to go through. Porto yet disappointing again in another tournament and this shows exactly why a lot of changes needs to be made during this transfer window if they really want to compete next season.

Calling Seattle Sounders a weak team is logical as they haven't been able to secure a single point in their group which has led them to be at the bottom but including PSG seems disrespectful because they're currently second in the group above ATM who are with 3 points just as PSG. However , I agree with you that PSG will win this match due to the importance of the match to them.

From that group, the only team they frankly could have gotten a win from was Botafogo. Once they were unable to do that in their first leg, it became very unlikely that they would be able to win or get a single point from any team in this group. PSG already did put Atletico Madrid on their toes after beating them by 4 goals to 0 in their first match. What was surprising is how PSG lost to Botofago, Atletico wasn’t going to let that happen to them really. Atletico wasn’t sure to beat them 3:1 and reduce some of that goal difference, I still expect Seattle Sounders to lost tonight.

It's such a pity how Seattle Sounders had to find themselves in such a group with teams way above their strength and as a result they couldn't even abscond with a single point to show for in this tournament after 3 games played. With the 0:2 victory PSG had yesterday, they now lead the group with Botofago receding to second place followed by ATM in 3rd.  All these three team now have 6 points each with some goals difference deciding their positions in the ground.

Porto can't just help it because they have some good players missing out and their defense is nothing but shamble. The midfielders were not also helping the matter and can not even build a game. To be honest, I have not seen FC Porto as weak as this before. Al Ahly played a great game by the way and they could have scored more goals if there was more play time. Not that Al Ahly was too good for Porto to handle but FC Porto were just too bad recently.

As for Athletico Madrid, I don't know what exactly their problem is because they have some good players but it's disappointing watching them play. They could have won with three or more goals but they messed up their chances and thrown themselves out of the tournament this early. The only good thing about them in this competition is that they participated.

We know that goal difference can be a huge factor in proceeding to the next round for competition like this, especially with the low number of games played. While I understand the frustration, it isn't like they don't have any control over how many goals they score or concede. They were especially wrong in the 3rd goal they conceded. They hesitated to enter the ball coming from the corner and Samu scored.
In the 4th goal, Pepe shot from distance. The ball did not go hard but he was content to just watch.
Even if Al Ahly had won, the result would have been only 3 points but the victory would have been better in terms of prestige.

I think Al Ahly forward Abou Ali created a good market with his performance in this match.
