The club world cup has been a major FIFA competition that has been on for years.

But nobody cared about this competition, this year it got some relevant attention, but it is not a competition in which if the clubs had a choice, they would choose to play in it.

I am sure that if you asked the Real Madrid directors the following:

Between winning this competition or winning La Liga, what do you prefer? The Real Madrid manager would say that he prefers to win La Liga. And if you asked him, "You can just not participate in this competition and you won't be punished," he wouldn't hesitate and wouldn't participate. This competition can make money for the clubs, but the damage it can cause to the clubs is much greater.

For example, if a club like Real Madrid has Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Mbappe and some of the defense injured in this competition, and they are long-term injuries, then Real Madrid won't be able to win anything next season.

Inter River is kinda interesting game.
I think that with a tie both teams will pass the turn.

Last 2 days for this group stage.

Inter vs River really is an intriguing matchup, but a draw would only work for the Argentinians. Inter need a win to stay alive. Kivu’s side created plenty of chances in the last two games but struggled to convert. Now they face a stronger opponent, though River are missing all of their starting central midfielders due to suspensions. That could be decisive—Inter rely heavily on dominating the middle. It won’t be easy, but I think they can push through.

3 matches that I probably wouldn't want to miss watching but I also wouldn't bet on either team winning these matches. Because I think it will be quite difficult to predict. These three matches are

- Juventus vs Man city

However, based on existing statistics, Man City, Al-Hilal and Real Madrid should be the teams that can be expected to win. However, I personally think there are too many surprising results in the current Club World Cup. Which makes me prefer not to take risks in matches that make me doubt.  What do you think about these three matches?

I only take City vs Juventus game for the betting purpose. This match looks interesting while i know it's also the most riskier match compared to the rest. However, i take a safe bet for myself, and believe both teams to score in this game. 
I know how strong City, and they can beat Juventus. Although the game will be quiet intense, but i believe more than three goals to be scored.

The Manchester City and Juventus game is a difficult one to predict because both clubs have really performed very well in the Club World Cup tournament, and both clubs have won the two matches they have played in the Club World Cup tournament so far, and both teams will want to win this game so that they can top Group G. I will go with Manchester City to beat Juventus in this game because Manchester City has more quality players than Juventus, and Juventus has also been finding it difficult to win against big clubs in a long time.

You know, before now it was more interesting because you don't have to see two teams from the same continent playing at once not to talk of two teams from the same league. Then it consisted of less teams because it was only the champions of the continental cup can only perform in it. Right now, it's format has been changed and I think it very unnecessary because players were supposed to be resting right now after a long season of numerous competitions and just like you said, an injury to a player here will be a big blow to the team coming into the next season. I think the only attraction in this new format is the amount of money to be earned by the team.

It turns out that so far Benfica is the first place in the group, because Benfica unexpectedly led in the score, but I understand that even a draw will take Benfica to the next stage. Benfica can not get out only if Benfica loses to Bayern and if Boca score more than 7 goals against Auckland City, because the difference between Benfica and Boca Juniors is 6 goals.
Boca leads 1-0 so far, but now to get out of the group they need to score 6 more and wait for Bayern to beat Benfica.

Club World cup is not for the weak and its very unpredictable to assigned the necessary odds. Benfica leading against Bayern Munich in the first half of the game. This is an important game for everyone to come out and watch and trust the Bavarians, they have a plan they're working on and wouldn't want to jeopardize their slot in the tournament. We can see clearly we'll how determined is Vincent Kompany, he has objectives and that's simply to win games, then I wonder why the club hanging in the balance. At this phase of the tournament, I'm not taking sides because the best leading teams are yet to uncover this sliding competition. While Boca Juniors also failed to make the impression to win today's games.

Auckland City is not a professional but an amateur team and they are played by ordinary people who play soccer after work, so a draw with Boka Juniors is a huge achievement for Auckland City that the players and their fans in New Zealand will remember for years to come.
Despite conceding 17 goals and scoring just 1 goal, Auckland City managed to earn almost 4.5 million for the tournament (3.5 million for getting to the tournament and 1 million for the draw) and that's almost 7 annual budgets for the club!
For whom the club championship is definitely not wasted, it is for Auckland City, who without it would never have been able to earn enough to invest in the development of the club.

Why is everyone surprise to see Chelsea winning this morning? They worked so hard to come out ontop and winning is very important, it's been quite a smooth pathway for the Blues in the club world cup.

I guess the surprise you are talking about are those who think they would loss as they had one wining and and one losing, well that shouldn't have created much surprise because apart from one team who do not want Chelsea to be superior over them there is no other who can also think of such on Chelsea and since they have settled there differences with Flamengo others are semi clubs to them, so the 0:3 from away is not a surprise but was a foreseen moment of the Chelsea team and now they have joined others who have qualified, there first had 7 while Chelsea has 6 total.

I wonder how will someone be surprised that Chelsea won against a team below them, are they thinking that Chelsea would fail to qualify for the next round of FIFA World Cup when it is evidently clear they will because of the clubs they are in the same Group with.

Where Chelsea next strength will be tested on is when they face Benfica next, then, we would know how prepared Chelsea are, in the FIFA World Cup. Their performance would let us know how prepared they are to compete for the Premier League trophy

This the most interesting game for me, both teams tied on points and goal difference, with juventus having scored more (9) goals and conceded just once while Manchester City haven’t conceded any goals yet and have scored eight. Both clubs have been flying this tournament but this is definitely going to be their first real test in this tournament. It will be intense because the winner will top the table and get less competitive club in the knockout stages. I am going for a Manchester city win

Football is full of surprises, otherwise, I don't think Manchester City can defeat Juventus as easily as we think. Manchester City has yet to concede a goal in this competition, while Juventus conceded one in their previous match. I'm not sure Manchester City will win tomorrow match because both have only played against weak opponents in their previous games. Juventus scored four goals against Wydad AC, which Manchester City struggled to win and received a red card.

However, we have yet to see Manchester City play against a big team since they signed more players, and according to their performance in the previous two matches, the players have yet to get used to each other style of play. Manchester City may win the match, but I wouldn't be surprised if Juventus finishes first in the group table because they have also performed well in the previous two games.

Chelsea won both matches in the first round. However, Chelsea lost 3-1 against Flamengo by a big margin. So there is no way to say that Chelsea is in a very good rhythm. Chelsea played well against a weak opponent. But they  lost by a big margin against a mediocre team like Flamengo.

Chelsea is going to face a strong team like Benfica in the knockout round. I doubt whether Chelsea will be able to win this match. Benfica Benfica is in good form. And probably the team that wants to win the FIFA Club World Cup title. In this match, I am interested in betting on Benfica to win.

The equation of Group E is now very complicated. This complexity depends entirely on the result of the Monterrey vs Urawa Reds match. If Monterrey wins, then we might see one of the teams between Inter Milan or River Plate going out. In this case, Monterrey will have to win the match by a margin of 2-3 goals. On the other hand, if the Inter Milan vs River Plate match is drawn, Inter Milan will be in a risky position and their FIFA Club World Cup future will depend on Monterrey's win or loss. If Monterrey loses the match or draws, the equation of Group E is very simple and Inter Milan and River Plate will qualify for the knockout stage. But if Monterrey wins, then one of the teams between Inter Milan and River Plate is going to go out. Because the result of the Inter Milan vs River Plate match may end with a win or loss.

Auckland City defended a lot against Boca and they were able to hold on and this is a huge achievement for them. Boca on the other hand had many shots over 40+ but they just couldnt make any clear chances. They shot from impossible positions and also once they seen the result from Benfica their moral went down

The final result was a surprise. How could it not be, with the dominance of Boca Juniors during the match ranging from ball possession, shots, expected goals, passes, to duels, in fact Auckland City could get 1 goal and finish the match with a draw. What makes Auckland City's statistics superior is only in defense. Clearances, blocks, and keeper saves, Auckland City outnumbered Boca and this shows that Auckland only focused on defense.

I wondered how many goals Boca would be able to score, but it wasn't to be. In fact, the goal for Boca was also Garrow's own goal.
The link with Benfica's result should encourage Boca to score over.

Chelsea have done their best in that match so that Chelsea has been able to qualify for the knockout round and will meet Benfica in the next four days. I hope Chelsea can win again when they meet Benfica because Maresca also still needs to prove that the squad that Chelsea currently has is still quite good. Flamengo also managed to qualify for the next round after being able to draw with Los Angeles FC because not long after Los Angeles FC took the lead, Flamengo was immediately able to equalize in just two minutes.

The game ended in a 3:0 wins against  Espérance Sportive de Tunis. After which they will face Benfica, but trust me Benfica is not a team to be toiled with. They won Bayern Munich in their last match. Anyone who lose will be eliminated from the competition. So, Chelsea have no option to win but I will be betting on Benfica as the favorite to win.

Bayern Munich and Benfica are not in the same league, which I was also expecting. Such results after seeing what happened in the first half, that is when I started feeling the game might end with a score of 1-0, which is how it later ended.

At first I thought Munich would win by a small margin. The reason is simple Benfica is not a weak team, they both often play in Europe. What was surprising was that Munich's possession of the ball was very dominant. But they couldn't even score a goal. Their shot on goal was the same but Benfica were better. Benfica goalkeeper Trubin had a great performance in the second half too. I think Turbin was the key to Benfica's victory. Also despite being quite old Di Maria was able to be a very contributing player. Di Maria contributed greatly to Benfica's goal.

It’s all about a good and better strategy that they use on Bayern Munich; if not, they score in the early minutes of the game so that their opponents will feel let that they still have a chance of winning the game as the game is just starting, and then Benfica later embarks more on the defence because they know well that Bayern Munich are stronger than them, which was a success to them as they end the game with the goal, and all was a result of the strategy they used, which wouldn’t have been successful if not for their goalkeeper, as you mentioned.

Someone was arguing seriously with me that Benfica is not a good side against Bayern Munich. That Bayern Munich never needed that match and that was why they allowed Benfica to win. This is someone who didn't even watch the match and saw how Bayern struggled trying to get a goal.

When I told him it's going to be a tough match against Chelsea, he ruled Benfica out. A team that has Otamendi and Di Maria plus others.

Benfica Chelsea would be an interesting one to watch btw.. one thing about Benfica is that they aren’t after any form of possession or likes, they are only after the goals but if chance for possession does come they do take it. Check most of their games, they only go about defending +attacking  so depending on Chelsea’s strategy they could take them down easily so far they don’t give room for possessions but more attacks, secure the mieldfield and the  first half well

So why the complains? To be honest Enzo Maresca is not a manager that have confidence in his players. A team that is not up to speed are going head to head with Chelsea and he has already pushed the panic button which I feel wasn't suppose to be. Well a big win which we all expected but that doesn't mean the Blues have done the needful in this competition, this is the difficult part where they start facing some of the best in each group and Benfica is not one of those weak teams they faced in the group stage so I expect Chelsea to change the way they have been handling their games in the group stage if not it won't end well.

Benfica played very well in defense against Bayern, and they scored early in the match, so Bayern had enough time to come back. But so far Bayern with Kompany is not distinguished by a strong character, they attack a lot, but sometimes it happens that they are not even able to score. For some reason, Kane started this match on the bench and only came on in the second half, to some extent this is a demonstration of the attitude towards the importance of this tournament for Bayern, otherwise I am sure Kane would have played from the first minutes of the match. But in any case, Bayern and Benfica will go to the playoffs.

And is like is something that gets into them, talking about Bayern Munich, like they have a mood of scoring and also a mood of not to score in a game but this very game they played everything but the Benfica side were ready to hold the attackers of Bayern Munich. About Kane I feel the manager Vincent Kompany is not ready to risk anything concerning the player and if you check, the both teams are only playing for who to be at the top and since Bayern Munich are second I believe they can handle any team that comes their way and that's the same time you'd see Harry Kane starting but not from the bench, for me I still haven't seen Bayern Munich play at their best yet.

Inter Milan may not have fully restored their strength with their new coach. But Inter Milan should indeed be able to qualify for the round of 16 even with their current condition. But at least Inter Milan must be able to draw or win in the last match. Because if Inter Milan loses and Monterey wins in the match against Urawa Reds then that will make Monterey qualify for the round of 16 and Inter Milan will fail. So today's match will really be decisive for Inter Milan and also River Plate and also Monterey in Group E.

For the ongoing match, it looks like Dortmund will win today's match. and Dortmund seems almost certain to qualify for the next round.

Defeating Benfica will looks difficult maybe because of how they defeated Bayern Munich in the group stage. Chelsea might be very lucky to play them well and defeat them, but they need thorough preparation to the game.

Chelsea is not that bad that they can't play Benfica I don't think that anything like luck will come to play in this game Benfica win against bayern munich was not that convincing because bayern munich has already qualified before that game
