We have detected high latency and slow responsiveness in some of our seeds.
This could be due to hosting problems or the increased Guldencoin network activity.

In both cases, the nodes are not supposed to have degraded performance. Therefore we decided to migrate the seeds to a new location/ISP.

Network integrity is not affected as 12 of the 15 seeds are still available and in full sync.

You do not have to take any action.

The seeds with degraded performance have been migrated. Thanks to Hilmar for doing most of the work!

The network is 100% online again.
We're also updating other seeds to new guldencoind versions.

By the way, I had some fun with the chain. I couldn't resist broadcasting a transaction just before block 101010 was created..
Sending 101010 NLG to an address starting with GLoLoL in block 101010...

Besides having some nerdy fun, I'm also working on a new thingie that will probably be released somewhere next week or weekend..

Probably the hosting provider having trouble...
We had our doubts with this particular provider already. So when suddenly exactly the three seeds hosted with them started being unresponsive, the decision was quite simple.
The seeds are still spread over several locations with different hosting providers. Today was an example of why this is a good practice.

Wouldn't it be better to split it over multiple hosting providers (maybe in different countries)?

Would be awesome though if it raises like BC did (4600%). Calculate 2 x 4600% = What i would have Smiley

If it would raise 4600% I think I would quit my dayjob... Wink
