I vote no for coinwarz. Guldencoin is listed on another 'profitability' site named whattomine.com but I no longer see it listed on the main page, although there is still a page dedicated to Guldencoin there. http://www.whattomine.com/coins/64-nlg-scrypt . Looking forward to news on the IOS front. Keep up the good work devs! +1 Coinwarz is only used by miners who don't give a sh1t about your coin. Rather have miners that love the coin as much as I do.

Whoever puts those 100 sat orders in place... the dumpers love you. Better let it drop 10 -20% and see if it settles a bit, right now there are no buy orders so this is artificial value. Real value will come in time and no hurry needed.

UpdateAs most of you have noticed we have a certain way of communicating. We usually don’t say much until projects are finished and can be launched. This is part of our vision, because we don’t want to disappoint. In the crypto world people are disappointed every day and it’s causing a bad name and reputation to cryptocurrency, while it can and should be as beautiful as the internet itself. But while we believe in this vision, it should not stall our development and in this case it is. I am talking about the iOS wallet. For the last couple of weeks we have been investigating many ways to get it done but without good result. Of course we have learned and made important connections but iOS is still further away then we would like. There was good news from Apple’s side, that makes it possible to get an iOS wallet in the App Store and now it’s time to act. We all know open source is beautiful and so is this Bitcoin wallet: https://github.com/voisine/breadwallet. Breadwallet is a product from Aaron Voisine and it is amazing. I have contacted Aaron about the possibilities to convert this to NLG, but unfortunately he is too busy at the moment developing Breadwallet, which is understandable. But he referred us to some friends of his who are very good iOS developers in San Francisco, who would be able to convert it. But not for free. So it can be done, but we need funds. And unfortunately they don’t take NLG… We also talked with some iOS developers based in Amsterdam and it all comes down to the same thing, funds. So here are a few options: 1. Crowdfunding 2. Developers who can be paid in NLG 3. Wait for an open source Litecoin wallet Please let us know what you think or if you have any ideas. This is something we have to do together. Because we prefer the second option we want to offer a bounty for the development of the iOS wallet for 2.000.000 NLG. Yes that’s a lot. But we believe its very important for the success of Guldencoin, here is why. Cryptocurrency is still very new to the majority and part of that majority are merchants. While we have noticed merchants are hesitant towards Bitcoin, but less hesitant towards Guldencoin. Because it’s familiar, they can talk to us when they need to, get information and guidance. It’s Dutch. But what they want is a complete solution. Everyone wants a complete solution. They want all their customers to be able to pay with NLG. Can you imagine having a good conversation with a merchant telling him how easy it is, then reaching the conclusion that the merchant uses an iPhone… Thats why its so important to offer a complete solution. More about the complete solution. iOS is a very important and integral part of it, but not the only part and here comes the good news. Other aspects we can develop ourselves. For example the Android wallet. We have a working Android wallet available. People can do transactions, but it’s not very user-friendly. It can be much better. So we are working on a completely new wallet, built from scratch. With our own designed interface in our familiar and friendly Guldencoin design. We expect this to be ready within three months. Another thing we are working on, is an app for merchants. Very easy to use and also with that same friendly Guldencoin design. iOS and Android, which will make it much easier for merchants to accept payments and for people to pay with NLG. We will start with iOS, hopefully this month, and Android will follow shortly after. Beside this, there is a lot of other development going on and you’ll be updated about this in the next few weeks. For now we would like you guys to help us with ideas for iOS. The team Did the person in San Francisco say how much they would want for such a development, if it's 5 btc then perhaps do a crowdfunding and give people portion of the 2million NLG which is worth 2btc. I know it will mean we paying 2.5 times the current exchange rate but at least we get something for the btc we contribute towards the project, obviously if they want 10 btc then it might be harder to get

I will personaly add 200.000 NLG to that bounty, it hurts a bit because I'm not an Ifan but there is a whole market out there that uses Iphones and they have to be served.

People have to stay interested, so fast progression is very important, this can only be achieved when enoughf funding is available. If we know how much funding is necessary it makes it easier to make a decision.

https://github.com/voisine/breadwallet/issues/11don't use breadwallet on a jailbroken phones jailbroken - http://www.businessinsider.com/should-you-jailbreak-your-phone-2013-2?op=1By the way merchants are not hesitant towards BTC here in NL,you can pay with BTC in many places, you should be working on getting NLG on those, once they already up with BTC payments, they most probably would accept NLG Here you got few in Amsterdam and Den Haag: http://www.bitcoinboulevard.nl/http://blog.bitpay.com/2014/05/14/spend-bitcoins-in-amsterdam-at-bitcoin-2014.htmlYou can order food with BTC too: http://www.thuisbezorgd.nl/Plus I really like what vericoin did, perhaps something like that would be great for NLG -VeriCoin seems to be the first coin that can overcome some of the disadvantages of Bitcoin while also being able to utilize the wide scale merchant adoption of Bitcoin. Some of those advantages Vericoin would offer include faster transaction times, a variable proof-of-stake interest, and less selling pressure from miners or pools http://coinjoint.info/vericoin-releases-veribit-making-seamless-bitcoin-payments-reality/

Thank you for the quick responses. Tonight Geert-Johan will provide more specific details about what we exactly need. Funding wise, the first estimate we received from the SF devs was $5000,-. This would be for the framework and not the complete wallet. We do have an iOS developer in the team, so a framework could be enough. Unfortunately our iOS dev doesn't have the experience for a complete wallet.
Is having a iOS wallet a deal breaker for merchants at this stage or more giving us better odds of merchant acceptance? $5000 / $620 = +- 8 btc for the framework. I think 8 btc would be worth it if we become the first scrypt coin to have a iOS wallet, it would make crypto history for the coin.

Excuse me... if I am being harsh... The estimate to build the wallet by professional developer is $5000USD... about 8BTC... and you are offering a bounty of 2,000,000NLG(about 2BTC on a good day) for someone in the community to do the same work? I don't think that is being very realistic or fair... the bounty should be on the order of at least 5,000,000NLG... which is still a huge risk for someone to take for a weeks of work without the certainty that NLG will hold its value anything like BTC. I support NLG, but does not have the surety or maturity of BTC to carry that sort of risk. That is just my opinion... so take it for what it is worth!!! Being a leader in IOS will definitely pave the way to a much larger user base... along with getting a few coffee shops to accept NLG.

I would highly recommend the dev team contact the lead dev for the Hive wallet. In this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=637227.0 - he is asking for suggestions for the next coin to be supported by the Hive Wallet. Here is a a quote... We have Litecoin support now and we want to add additional tokens to Hive. If you want your token available in our beautiful family of wallets, please write here: https://github.com/hivewallet/discussions/issues/22Remember: for global coverage, you need an SPV node first!

This looks really nice.. It seems that it is basically running bitcoinj on the server side and using HTML to display interface stuff.. nice twist to the standard wallet app.
