hidden premine?

I don't think so. Explorer said about 251 mil coins minted, with 80,000 blocks (80 mil coins mined) plus 170 mil premine it somewhat corresponds.
(not sure about these numbers, will have to check after)
It's weird though that suddenly the explorer has gone offline, minutes after my post.

Premine is all over the chain. Anyhow I'm not 'investigating', it just came to my attention. Expecting it to get dumped. I'm from Netherlands and never even heard about this coin other then through this forum which I read a lot. I really have no interest in these countrypotentialscamcoins. (I don't believe in so called fair distribution like this and there's no proof devs did not make thousands of wallets just to send to themselves and a few legit ones)

It's going to take a lot of time before 1.5 million Dutch citizens claim there coins. I think bitcoins blockinfo is close to 2 million now... so yes in terms of growth NLG has a long way to go and when it gets out the starting blocks and starts going more mainstream then there will be fireworks in price and merchant adoption.

Can you share with us why you expect it to get dumped? You're right about the wallets, but even if this team takes the premine they did 10 times better then 90% of the coins. For now the premine is used with care.

The apple in the tree is too delicious Wink
Social drama's may occur. If one dev had enough or comes in a fight with another a dump can easily happen. It's too centralized to build economy upon, house of cards, far away from the bitcoinspirit.

NLG will make history with a premine that is being used to develop the coin and take it places. I have also personally been buying up NLG to help fund it when the premine does eventually get used up, when the coin takes off and premine is not even needed anymore we will donate the remainder to several charities. This is for the dev portion of the premine... the rest of the premine is for the Dutch citizens, first 1.5 million that claim will get 100 coins even if it takes 10 years.

However don't take what I say as fact as actions speak louder then words and NLG is all about action. Smiley

Of course I can be totally off, but I'm almost sure this apple is going to stay there for a long time... Wink

I might buy some at or below 10 satoshi, then I can eat those sandwiches for the next few years for a fraction of the price.  Grin

Buy low at 1 sat then when it goes to 10 sat I trade for 10 x more sandwiches. Or 10 sat - 100 sat. Anyhow I did not came here to criticize, if others believe in it it's their call.

Welcome BTCat! Always nice to see new faces. Please feel free to ask questions or let us know if you have concerns. I understand you have some concerns about the premine, let me know how we can make things clearer for you besides the information provided at our guldencoin.com and services.guldencoin.com.
Hi gulden. Nah don't worry about defending the premine stuff, it's getting old. I do wonder how many people have claimed any coins, but there is no way on earth that you will reach 1.5 mil dutchies, you should be happy with a few thousand, anything more becomes a fairytale. Goodluck.
