A new Guldencoin mining pool is up and running. Check it out www.DEGULDENMIJN.EU

www.DEGULDENMIJN.EU

Nice  Smiley I will mine every now and then with my Graphic card AMD Radeon HD 5900. Mining at 0.5 to 0.7 Mh/s. Using static diff 256.

My .bat file:

C:\sgminer\sgminer -o stratum+tcp://deguldenmijn.eu:3003 -u [My Guldencoinaddress] -p x -T --compact -I 15 -g 1 -w 128 --thread-concurrency 8000

Great thanks mate. Let's keep the chain moving!

Two more days!....

How is this project doing?

It's doing great! We are technically up and running on the saving side. We are daily approving valid claims and see that the system works!

We do want to do the marketing right as well, that means a lot of preparation, for there is only one chance for a good first impression. It's easy to write a couple of thousand press-releases, but that doesn't get you anywhere without a proper support campaign. This involves loads of planning and resources.

Also we are still working on a way to make the saved Guldens more valuable by opening a store that gives good discounts in change of the saved Guldens. To do this we need an API that enables us to accept NLG without conversion. That is something in development still.

So for now, it looks very good, but good things take time....

This must go ahead for guldencoin , it will be a big deal. I hope it does not get shelved for a year. Sad

To see those non believers in the future cry that they didn't invest in this coin when they had the chance. One things for sure exchanges are definitely taking bribes to get coins listed. No ways guldencoin shouldn't be on Cryptsy or Bter by now.

Exchanges should never be a concern for a coin. They will add NLG without having to be bribed eventually because they will lose out on trading fees when the coin becomes very popular. I respect the team and community for not going down the road of bribing exchanges to get listed as it's never a good thing.

Hello, please consider voting in this poll:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1042097.0

It's an attempt to measure whether the altcoin community feels that marketcap is an indicator of success, and possibly discuss it.

I'm targeting ~500+ page ANN threads, and not trying to spam everything with bumps, so please kindly don't delete this unless I've accidentally posted it more than once in your thread.

All opinions are welcomed.

DELTA PROGRESS:

We feel DELTA is pretty well balanced at this stage, there is just one or two minor tweaks we can make but won't have a major effect on the current way it's performing, as things stand we should be done with internal testing by the end of the weekend.

I have set myself a personal goal of having a release date for us by next weekend, so we really are pushing this as safely and promptly as possible

The first of many, so many projects and ideas in the works. Outside of the blockchain itself we have paysafegulden which is a first for cryptos I believe. BITSMS.eu is developed by the guldencoin community. I am probably forgetting some things but we on the right road. Smiley

According to the timeline the 2 developers joined on the 17th March. 6 weeks later Delta is almost ready... good times ahead for NLG if both developers stay on a permanent basis. Smiley

Just to see how bad things are on the scrypt front for coins, I had a look for other coins with similar block times to us, GLD is meant to have 2 min block times.

https://coinplorer.com/GLD  --> 10 blocks in the last 24 hours.

Really looking forward to getting DELTA out for us and thanks again to our dedicated miners who are keeping things ticking over! Smiley
