I just logged in and saw the option for making purchases was enabled for me, so of course I had to try it out. I must say, it is totally awesome! I send my payment, and moments later the shares I bought are ticking by merrily.

Kudos pirateat40 for an excellent niche-filling service!

EDIT: I used a "high priority" option, which costs a little more. However, it looks like my 20,000 shares (the minimum purchase amount) are being delivered to the pool of my choice at about 20Ghash/s! However, 73 rejects so far...

Hey thanks for the comments. We are slowly turning up the heat so the speeds will change a lot.  Remember that buyers don't pay for rejects which is reflected in your stats.  Your speed should be jumping up shortly while the system adjusts for miners jumping on.

Enjoy

Joined in with a share purchase. Looks good.

I did make a purchase and selected the wrong mining pool so I made a second purchase selecting the correct pool. However, once the mining started, it credited purchase #1.

Still mining same pool so not an issue, I just wanted it to use a specific username on that pool.

Hey we are dealing with a few issues with the pool you selected.  So its causing some issues but you can change the pool for your purchase from the dropdown on the purchase.

OK a few more constructive criticisms:

Once a worker is created, its name cannot be changed, and it cannot be deleted. edit, figured out how to change the name... stupid me....
Same as above with pools.
Payments appear to be accepted with no confirmations - you may wish to wait for at least 1 confirmation.
As far as I can tell, there is no option for failover or load balancing on multiple pools, unless this is done automatically in the background.

EDIT: One more thing - daily withdrawal is good, but another additional useful option would be payout after a certain amount has accrued, configurable.

Thanks for a great service!

We are rocking away on shares.  We've almost had 100% public work since we launched the purchasing side.  Miners are making some great money for their time.  Keep up the good work guys. Smiley

Got the invite today and pointed a few miners here. Bought a few shares just for fun. Seems to work very well.

Just wondering, long term, why would someone want to buy shares with BTC? I can imagine someone wanting to exchange currency this way (ie using USD to buy shares -> BTC), but having BTC as the only payment method doesn't make sense to me. I guess the one thing I could think of would be someone buying shares to test out a new pool that they've created? Or you're just feeling lucky? Smiley Obviously I'm missing something here.

You need to be using the login information on the details tab for each worker.  So click on the worker, then the details tab.

Let me know if you still have issues.

This is no joke. I have been pointing 32Gh at gpumax since they started letting miners on and I have to say this thing is about as solid as it gets. At first I was using it as a proxy to repoint hashes quickly. But now that they are leasing shares, my miners are making extra btc just by pointing my hashes to gpumax.

This app is the real deal. They are going to kill it in this niche.

Yes that does it seems rather convoluted way to do it but works once you know it. Question about payout I see the option for manual or automatic daily so where do you do a manual, I see no option for the payout or balance for that matter on the page where it is set and what time of day is the automatic set to pay out on as I think I would rather do that.

Yea payouts engine is coming in the next update which will have options for payout.  So much to do and only 24 hours in a day. Smiley

I believe the passwords for miners should also be generated, and not be abc123. Smiley It kinda looks a bit disturbing. Smiley

Update:

I know guys, no need to PM me.  We are slowly adding more and more to the system.  We have tons of people on the waiting list and trying to get them done but want to make sure everything is right.  We have a lot of servers that all have to play nice together to work right.  Please be patient we will get everyone in.

Would you rather have no password like most pools?

That would be when and do the auto payouts work at this time?

Right now payouts are disabled until we have the engine in place, then you have auto or manual.
