Pirate has tons of hashing power and is making large profits already.  It is not fanboyism, but a FACT, that demand >> supply at this point.  Because pirate is a rational individual (I hope so), he does the minimum necessary work to satisfy the needs of the market and earn the most profit.  At the moment, he can afford to lose people who bitch about his service.

Hence, bitching is not going to work.  It'll only piss pirate off Tongue

After all, the service is in beta...
if he's a pool, he's probably the fourth largest.

Wow, I mined about .18BTC in 16h With GPUMax + Eclipse, with a single 6850 @ 260MHash/s. GPUMax is fuckin awesome.

Edit:

Is there a chance that https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=66202.0 (p2pmining.com) pool could be supported? The subsidies from it might make it even more profitable then a fee free pool. Plus being added to GPUMax might help it grow.

Is there a target date for when GPUMAX is supposed to exit beta or is it just take it as it comes?  I have no complaints currently just curious.

We have not even started setting a date at this point.  We have lots of work to do but we'll see if we cant get a timeline going this month.

"service invoked too many times for one dat"

Was this about the API?

If so (or even if not), Pirate, how often do you accept polling the API per day or per hour?

Update

We'll begin accepting Dwolla and MtGox codes on the site soon but we've been asked by a few people to start manually processing payments for purchases.

So we'll begin manually processing Dwolla and MtGox payments until the site is ready.

Purchase Price is calculated using the following formula:
((Purchase Price (BTC) * Current MtGox Ask Price) + 1%)

Example: A 2 million share purchase costs 110 BTC (currently).  110 BTC * $4.71 (MtGox Ask) = $518.10 + $5.18 (1%) = $523.28

$523.28 is the total required to have your purchase marked as paid.  Note: For Dwolla payments you must pay the service fee ($.25) or your balance won't be marked paid.

To make a purchase, please create a purchase in the system, then email us at support@gpumax.com with your username (email) and total BTC required for payment.  We'll respond with the total required and payment details.

Now go easy on me, we're having to do these manually so please be patient with us.
