I have pointed a small 100TH rental at this pool, hoping to help it hit a block! This will be the primary pool for me for two neptunes and kanos will be failover 1 and my own bitcoin node on my server will be failover 2. It might be a bit down on luck atm but its worth sticking through thick and thin... How has the costs of the pool been covered with many months without a block? Merged mining? I ask cause part of the reward is PPS so it can only go on for so long? What happens to the DGM payouts if the pool hits but the 25BTC isn't enough to pay the DGM payouts of everyone in the pool? I currently have 0.04btc in DGM payments, for example Jacob EDIT: No luck I'm afraid for this one

I am planning on porting Syscoin over to merge mine SHA256 rather than SCRYPT, would it be possible to add this coin to your list of merge minable coins? I am doing it on latest code base BTC 0.12 core so it is optimized and is basically a decentralized marketplace onchain. If we get a pool I will go ahead and code it up otherwise will stick with LTC merge mining. THanks!

If it's SHA256 merge mine capable, is not too resource hungry and has some sort of usage then it can be added.

If it's SHA256 merge mine capable, is not too resource hungry and has some sort of usage then it can be added. Yes tons of usage (decentralized marketplace, integrated aliases to the core, digital certificates, 2 of 3 escrow system linked to the marketplace, encrypted messaging) all with GUI's built-in to the wallet. I'm redeveloping based on latest core so it will be nice and clean. By default the core is set to use 0.5GB memory max, with a few hundred to use for the in memory DB's for the syscoin services. It uses only 25 megs on startup at genesis block. I'm currently putting up a testnet to merge mine with bitcoin testnet, so all will be tested before I will get the release to you. Cheers! btw in my past life I was also the Devcoin dev so I can also upgrade that one to latest core if it ever gives you problems.

Would be nice to get enough people for a consistent 200-300TH
I am sure that would speed block finding up

I have to agree it has been a long time. This is a good pool but with under 75th getting blocks is tough.

This is my favorite pool and I have had a lot of fun here. Frankly I am overextended here at the moment I have a lot riding on the next block and I just wish we would hit it. It would be nice to see someone put in 500th for a while till it hits.

If this pool doesn't at least hit one block every 14 days and each time difficulty is considerably increasing while the hashrate is stagnating... how are you ever going to get out of the variance trap?
You don't.
