The Antminer S5/S4 will keep the pool shown as Alive using #xnsub on the old URL (new url does not work with #xnsub on all of my miners). If the price is not met, the pool stays Alive, but does no work and submits no work, and will not failover to the 2nd pool. SP20 does not have this problem. I am using Wed Jan 7 14:05:02 CST 2015 Firmware on the S5. Also tried Wed Apr 15 15:17:03 CST 2015 on the S5. Tried all Firmware on the S4, same issue. Leaving them without the #xnsub on the old or new URL works properly and fails over to 2nd pool when price is not met, but no extra nonce subscribe of course. Thanks for the attention to this issue! Love your site.
Anyone else have this issue for Antminer S4/S5? If not, how did you fix it?

Anyone else have this issue for Antminer S4/S5? If not, how did you fix it? For the S4 I set up a stratum proxy on a raspberry PI. The S4 does not like when Nicehash drops below the profit. The S4 will drop or lock up. So the fix is create a Stratum proxy in your network -point your machines at it. Then out to Nicehash. Full instruction can be found here https://github.com/Stratehm/stratum-proxy

hashrate is decreasing these days, I think it would help if admin set a lower fee rate so that buyer would offer a better price for hashes and more miners would join. https://i.imgur.com/9y3W7UEl.png

You'll probably find the reason for the dropping hashrate is because the front-end has been down for a couple of days and miners don't like to leave their machines hashing when they can't see how much, or if, they are getting paid for their hashpower.

There was no down time. Can you elabore what kind of down time you are talking about? The total SHA256 hashpower hasn't decreased, but moved to WestHash market. You might check it out.

Well whenever I try to view the nicehash.com website I have been getting this these last couple of days: [edit] now that's interesting. This is the message I've been getting from google Chrome but because you said it hasn't been down I just checked in Firefox and it loads fine. What could have caused that?

Your browser cache - try pressing F5. We sometimes do restart the frontend, because we are putting on updates, but the downtime is the only a minute or two.

Ok, but it's possible that a bunch of other people experienced the same thing. You might want to put something in place for when the front-end comes back online it doesn't rely on visitors to try F5'ing.

When frontend down for maintenance, my miners disconnect from quark and connect to not profitable x11 which first in pool list on multi-algo port.

When frontend down for maintenance, my miners disconnect from quark and connect to not profitable x11 which first in pool list on multi-algo port. We did stratum restart too this time, which caused all miners to be disconnected. As always, we are improving the service, constantly putting in small adjustments and fixes to offer the best mining experience to all customers.

the fee is truly too high, 3% for buyer and 3% for seller...

Why does the difficulty change even when I manually set it with the d=16384 command? I'm using some KNC Titans to connect to the scrypt server and never had problems, until today. Nothing changed on my end, but when I look at the status page with my address, it shows a CRAZY high reject rate after the difficulty goes past my set amount.
For a few minutes while it's at the 16384 set amount, it's fine, then the difficulty shoots up and up to 60% reject rates. This is happening on 2 KNC titans.
ANy clue?

With d, you can only adjust starting diff. Diff will shoot up if diff is too low, eg when your miners are sending a lot of shares. 16384 is very low for Titan - about 1 share per 2 seconds. That is why diff is increased. To reduce reject issues, you should use never software.

since yesterday all eu servers are reporting dead in my sgminer. I didn't change the configuration and had it working before without any problems. Example for an server configured: Pool: stratum+tcp://quark.eu.nicehash.com:3345
# resolveip x11.eu.nicehash.com IP address of x11.eu.nicehash.com is 159.8.42.123 IP address of x11.eu.nicehash.com is 37.58.117.214 # resolveip quark.eu.nicehash.com IP address of quark.eu.nicehash.com is 37.58.117.214 IP address of quark.eu.nicehash.com is 159.8.42.123 # telnet quark.eu.nicehash.com 3345 Trying 37.58.117.214... Connected to quark.eu.nicehash.com. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host.
Is anything wrong?
