Great site. It would be nice to have a way to filter out specific algos/coins, especially NiceHash.

You can disable algos by clicking on the name, nothing for nicehash yet.

@Juniormkl
Requires market supported by wtm

BTG was lagging for more than a day, meaning the stats were not correct.
Official block explorer is down, was supposed to go up today, but well...
Will relist once its up.

Hi fredeq
Thank you so much for your website.

Just wondering, is there a guide on what all your column headings mean?

If you can point me to it, then I can read and understand.

Otherwise, I had a few questions:
what is the base of the 'est rewards'? Is this in BTC, or the coin in question?
Wouldn't it make sense to make this standardised?

Also
What does Rev. BTC vs Rev. 24h vs Rev $ vs Profit (under rev $ in bold)

Thanks

No guide yet though I am starting to feel the need to write it Wink
Est rewards are always in the coin in the row, rev BTC is rewards in BTC and then next column in $.

Rev24h uses 24h averages, same as EST rewards 24h.

Rev$ / profit$ can be set to current / averages in option form.

Thanks for answering!

Just to confirm - Rev vs Profit.
Rev is pure coins mined, whilst profit = rev - power consumption ($)?

Thanks

Rev = revenue, i.e. value of all mined coins. Profit is revenue minus power costs.

@fredeq

Is there a Json query to extract all the hardware profiles for each algo for both ASIC and GPU ?

gpucard.json (E.g. GTX 1070 ethash, neoscrypt, etc...)
ascicminer.json (e.g. ant s9, blake 2b, blake 14r, etc...)

or

mininghardware.json ( have 1 collection with both GPU and Asic miners )

Thank you

Nothing like that present.
The adapt to hardware feature is considered UI only

The coin was added ages ago, but you wont see it on the list until community adds at least one supported exchange.
And yes ccex was removed.

Fredeq, could you add coin called Straks? Thread there: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2433318.0
It's a bit young (since November) but it gains popularity and exchanges. Currently a little ones, but in the near future on HitBTC.
Currently it's a bit hard to find, but there is a JSON API:
https://api.straks.info/v1/statistics/latestblock
https://api.straks.info/v1/statistics/hashrate24hrs (here second value divided by 1000000 gives NetHash)
https://api.straks.info/v1/statistics/blockdiffdata

Fredeq, could you add one additional method of parameters coding for /coins/<Coin>.json, like for common /coins.json
In this case for getting different data we will need just replace the page part of the url:
whattomine.com/
whattomine.com/coins.json
whattomine.com/coins/<Coin>.json
with the same tail.

Thanks for great site!

I was also looking for this.
Thanks for asking and answering.

Also, regarding coins.json how is revenue or reward determined without a hash rate, or does it take some assume/ arbitrary (1000h/s?) hash rate?

I assume that with that information, i could calculate my profit using my own hash rates and electricity rate? (and do this in excel)

Thanks

Supported market required first.

@BashOrgRu
Honestly not sure what are you requesting here.

@Sammy2000
Thats cause you acted on 24h rewards going up in BTC as a result of the price pump, but didnt check the rising difficulty.
You cannot expect to earn the same amount of coins after the price pump.

@cptcherry
You need to pass your values to json url, the same as you provide them to the UI.
You can use the same url, just add `coins.json?`

Indeed official explorer was giving invalid data being on a different fork.
Perfect timing that this happened during price pump...
