Yes, yes do that because someone has a different opinion than yours. That speaks volumes of your wisdom too.

You are right, low volume as many other coins! This coin has problems BUT many people are trying to give it new life.

Toilet paper is your new nick name here. You are, obviously, an essential part of any WC: welcome aboard.

I give you 10x100WCs if you change your user name to ToiletPaper permanently (100 every week). This is funny.  I also give you 10WCs every time you make me laugh with a post (if you writes it as ToiletPaper).  I'm not joking, give me your address.

Hint: I don't think you will lose money if you buy in the range 200-100sat.

Thank you but I don't want it. I sold mine a few days ago with a big loss. I'm not touching it again. Besides tell me what Whitecoin has to offer in the crowd of thousands of other altcoins? Yes volume is low on other coins as well and that is not going to change. The big volume always travels to the newest coins.

I asked myself the same things and sold mine as well. I'm a bit annoyed I spent a month wishing it'd rise instead of cutting my losses and learning the correct lesson.

I've already made back about two thirds of what I lost trading other alts. If this coin shows any promise I'll buy back in but even after leaving for half a week it's still exactly where it was before.

Trading high-volume coins with a small part of your total funds is the best way to go... going all in and crossing fingers and watching this thread fill up with logos made me miserable.

And seeing the multipools in such a state of disrepair was depressing. I don't know the first thing about running one but surely it's not so impossible to sell coins at market value and buy back at market value. And why aren't all the profitable valuable coins being listed on any but Hashcows (which isn't specfically a WC multipool)? I threw more mining at this coin than I've ever done but I can't help feel like I just wasted electricity.

It just makes me very sad. It's a lot of teary-eyed hope but everyone is so inexperienced at getting things done that mean anything.

I won't point out other threads. But I want this dev team to get off their ass. I'm holding a coin that's being developed by people who wrote the entire code themselves and are talking about a future for the coin and I don't even worry about sleeping with half my BTC in it because the coin is solid because it does something unique and important.

Hopefully WC can go somewhere. But it won't like this. I'm keeping my eye on it but my wallet is closed for now. Hiding trade secrets is one thing but you can't drink muddy river water without getting sick.

Lots happening on Whitecoin, I can't apologize for the poor start WC had... or that you decided to sell at a loss because you got tired of holding WC however... since you are interested in learning more about WhiteCoin, here are some links to projects and a non exhaustive list of volunteers behind getting them done:

-->  http://whitecoin.info/news/projects/
- the logo competition is currently one of the most visible projects needed to help define the image of the new WhiteCoin

All I see is a bunch of advertising. There's nobody doing anything about making this coin anything more than a BC clone.

I've made money back since selling... there's absolutely no reason for anyone to hold the coin right now.

You have to make it do something special or interesting. BC has won the race for what this coin does. (No, I don't have any BC, because I think it's also sort of useless.)

Why is a logo important? Most traders see the logo once or twice in a month.

How does it make a serious investor want to spend money on it?

How will this coin function as a currency? Why should I spend money on it?

If the volume doesn't rise then the coin will die, end of. You have to answer these questions if you want anyone who's serious about cryptos to buy WC.

All great questions, many of which are items contained in the paper and todo lists/projects.

By the speed of your reply, I'm not sure that you read through any of the links yet, or the volunteers, unless of course you read through it all before and are just wondering about priority etc.?

There are lots of people working on stuff. That is, there *will* be people working on stuff. Someday?

Maybe I don't understand. Could you explain simply to me, the investor, what Whitecoin can offer that other coins don't?

Yes actively working on specific projects, tasks and developments... including merchants, pr, branding (kinda why you need a logo however there are currently ongoing PR that has begun, you only need to look back a few pages to see this community investment), in addition to organizational structure to become more effective.  Its not a business/company so volunteers are driving this effort and have done a great job and they/we all are actively working on items from this todo list, its coming together quite nicely.

It would be great to have your feedback on the todo and paper (if you have time) and post what items you feel are most important to you from an investment standpoint.

EDIT: Feel free to talk with Mogonzo regarding the over all organization/prioritization Smiley
I am one person whom runs http://whitecoin.info and currently the logo contest both of which are 100% volunteer time, there are many like me each with their own areas of specialty, hope you can see from the site, I do my best to keep everyone informed Smiley

With darkcoin in the "dark", this would be excellent timing for any beneficial news to get WhiteCoin back on track.
but u forget the rise of BTC, so most BTCs have migrated to BTC/USD.
I have the same feeling, it is true but it is not always the case.... otherwise we have to accept that all cryptos except Bitcoin will eventually collapse to zero (scary).

Hey MaxCan, just to give you an idea, here is what I'm working on right now:

1. Registering the foundation as a legal entity and meeting all requirements to do so, this will help us get listed on fiat/btc exchanges
2. Solidifying the first mandate laid out in the whitecoin paper.
3. Finalizing recruitment of key players (PR, Dev, and Operations are now covered, just policy is left to handle now)
4. Pre-work on 2nd mandate as laid out in the whitecoin paper

2.ask btc-e add wc

Let's do some realistic thing , that's only way to rise the price of coin, attract high end investor,

My logo submission.

I went for a simpler design. I see WC as Blackcoins better alternative. The theme is white gold.
A white coin backed by gold is what I'm going for Smiley

We talked extensively with Mindfox about the anonymous system, he has concerns about its viability. In my opinion, the current anon systems don't really work very well and are more about hype than true functionality. My opinion is of course derived from Mindfox's, and we're working on explaining that take to everyone in non programming language.

That said, I would really like to see some good anon functionality in WC, but I believe we need to develop our own solution in house.

I told people holding this coin to sell at the peak. Now I'm going to recommend you liquidate your WC and just buy BC, it is about to rise and you don't want to be holding the bag of a silly imitator coin when you can be apart of it. We all know this coin was trying to ride the thunder of the first BC spike, and it worked. Now just admit there is much here, there is no multipool comparable to BC and lets work together. All of these color coin clones are fracturing our community and we could all be working together to improve PoS coins.

With due respect, we have a unique approach here at WhiteCoin that is working for us. We're a positive action oriented community, and we have a long term plan to see WhiteCoin operate as a unique force in cryptocurrency. We do want to work with BlackCoin, but I think trying to poach users based on price pumps is the wrong approach. I encourage you to check out the WhiteCoin Foundation Paper draft posted in the op (under news), it lays out how we're taking whitecoin to the next level.

WC is a long term investment for those who can see the potential of organized, inclusive group action.
