This is Pandacoin PND, the one that helped bring Wolong's scamcoin down which thousands ended up getting hurt. In case you are not aware of us - Wolong's scamcoin (PANDA) - No devs, No community, No twitter, No homepage, No BCT thread (locked), 3% premine, scrypt, 3 mhs global hashrate and is effectively dead trading at 3 litoshi. vs We are Pandacoin (PND) - 10 active devs, dedicated community, No IPO/premine/fast/instamine, only Proof of Stake coin with 3+ months of PoW distribution phase (instead of the ridiculous less than 2 weeks PoW phases that's we've been seeing) and have a massive revamp on August the 30th aimed to reach the average end user instead of following the trends of other cryptocoins where they rely on trying to reach crypto early adopters. We're not aiming to please and reach out to the current early crypto adopter crowds anyways, as we're looking to break down the high barriers of entry to cryptocurrencies and appeal to the mainstream masses. But it's nice to have this misunderstanding cleared up. |

So imagine you spend a day conducting a survey towards the average Joe's and Larry's out there, and asking them to name all the decentralized digital currencies that they know of. How many of them would you think could name more than just Bitcoin and/or perhaps Dogecoin? Most would react to the question with "decentralized-wha?". The market segment that I've highlighted in my above example would have no clue about any of the 1000's of clone coins. As bdanyo stated, PND is aimed at appealing to those that are outside of early crypto adopters like yourself, myself and the typical crowd that frequents this forum. |
