For all of you wondering if you should invest in PND, and I mean invest, read the thread, check out the irc channel; this coin is worth investing in. This is not a pump and dump coin; the devs are active in the development of this coin. They are making a coin usable in the world of currency; not a get rich scheme for themselves. In a little over a month, the devs will release their plans on how to achieve this idea, one they feel will change the crypto landscape. Will it succeed? time will tell; but at least they are trying to accomplish their idea, instead of dumping when things get tough; like most every other dev does. So, come join us while it is still relatively cheap to do so, before the floodgates open.
IRC: #pandacoinpnd on freenode , come and feel the cool rain while you engage in conversation with fellow PND.
If you have any questions, ask the devs on irc or here in the thread; irc would be quicker, but someone is almost always on this thread. I have come to really enjoy this community of ours and i do not see why you cannot also.

We'll be releasing more than just our plans.

We'll be releasing what's IN the plans.

Wink

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Rethinking Digital Currency

Bitcoin, the world’s first decentralized digital currency, was launched in 2009. It was the prototype that introduced and demonstrated to the world the potential benefits and usages of a decentralized digital currency. However, digital currencies are still in their infant stages and have yet to see widespread mainstream adoption and usage as a unit of exchange both online and offline. There is a need to rethink the current approach to the design and marketing of digital currencies in order to achieve a global mass appeal.

August 30th

On the 30th of August the Pandacoin (PND) development team will unveil and release the highly anticipated set of major development updates to Pandacoin. The founders, developers, and architects of Pandacoin (PND) endeavor to redefine the current space with this set of major development updates, and be positioned to become the future digital currency of choice for the masses.

PoS diff tells us how many people are staking and how secure the blockchain is. The more people staking, the higher the diff.

Is it number of people staking, or the number of coins being used to stake, or both?

Both. Your wallet is assigned a weight based on how many coins you hold and that weight affects the difficulty when you have your wallet unlocked and staking.

Wait, so, is it better for the network if I split my PND up between different wallets? Or better if I hold it all in one?

Well after watching the recovery of the coin after that little debacle recently, here's hoping the value skyrockets.   I've got plans that depend on money.  You know, the usual stuff - buy this house, buy a Tesla (the car), get solar for the house, do some bodywork on myself, maybe fill my closet with new clothes, etc etc.

What do you like most about the Tesla?

I fancy getting one myself one day.

So then what is the MAXIMUM possible difficulty if EVERY SINGLE pandacoin was staking all at once?

Well it was a debacle initially, but at least it afforded those of us with some brains the opportunity to snap up some cheap PND ;-)

As for Tesla's cars, simple:  I know I sound like a commercial here but they're electric, they're fast, they're beautiful, and they're free to charge at their supercharging stations.  Hate on Elon all you like for PayPal, but he did something right with Tesla at least :-)

Elon doesn't have anything to do with paypal now I don't think... I could be wrong though.

Wait, free? Wut? Really?

Yep, 100% free at their supercharge stations.  And if you do it at home, I seem to recall reading somewhere that it's like $4 worth of electricity to get a full charge from flat, at average US rates.
