I am in cryptocurrency from long time and i've been part of many teams . Until I retired on my own . You know what is the problem with crypto now ? MINERS ! They are GREEDY , THEY WANT THEIR ROI ASAP + 200% EXTRA if possible . So when its distributed by miners all I can see its a TOTAL FAIL . Miners will keep dump . That is all they know . They dont know to integrate and help the community .

Like they've done with Bitcoin and Litecoin.

Now this leaves me asking how either of these managed to survive, considering that distribution to and by miners, from your perspective, is the worst possible way to get a coin in circulation.

The problem isn't miners, the problem is miners with ASICS, we went full POS because the first Scrypt ASICS were coming out and then indeed distribution would no longer be that fair.
So we switched to full POS and didn't look back. If you want coins now, you can buy them cheap on exchange.

But well this is what is called a fair distribution. I don't know how else you want to distribute with no miners... IPO or full POS from start are the worst.

This is why the devs are trying to make a coin which will appeal to the masses, to everyday folk, not just those in the crypto-world. There will always be dumpers, it happens in every facet of investing; but the more people involved, the more stable the price becomes, allowing a coin that could be used in "everyday" life, to buy items on the internet, to buy items at brick-and-mortar stores. The devs are trying to make a coin that can do these and show the world the value of cryptocurrency. I for one cannot wait until August 30th to see what they are planning, but I will have to.

Indeed. People will have to stop with the mind set of treating this coin as a commodity. This will be used as a currency and foundations for that is being laid as we speak. Remember, this is more than just trying to get a quick profit. Joining Pandacoin (PND) means you're part of something big, something revolutionary and something that may/will change how people look at cryptocurrency.
