Rethinking Digital Currency

Bitcoin, the world’s first decentralized digital currency, was launched in 2009. It was the prototype that introduced and demonstrated to the world the potential benefits and usages of a decentralized digital currency. However, digital currencies are still in their infant stages and have yet to see widespread mainstream adoption and usage as a unit of exchange both online and offline. There is a need to rethink the current approach to the design and marketing of digital currencies in order to achieve a global mass appeal.

I honestly have no idea what the new features gonna be. Most of the new stuff in other coins are small features addition in the wallet or nifty stuff on the specs or whatnot. Looking at this, it seems like PND is planning something REALLY big. I have no experience of any coin releasing anything big during my stay in cryptocurrencies.

Based on the synopsis you gave us in the few paragraphs that's been headlining the page, I expect a new way to buy into the currency as well as a new way to use it. A simpler way to get a hold of the cryptocurrency and use it like we use centralized currency is the best method to appeal to the global masses.

I had to tell my family about Pandacoin to explain why I have such noisy fans on my miners running 24 hours everyday.

But I have convinced a few friends to buy a few euros worth of PND. I tell them that Pandacoin is like a stock and will increase in value fairly quickly. I have convinced them not to dump though. They all seem contempt in holding onto their coins for at least a few more months.

A brand new wallet skin would be awesome... We need too get rid of that boring gray wallet, and have some nice pnd designs in it
Maybe the PND games integrated in a extra tab inside the wallet 
Fully functional android wallet

A marketplace where we can buy/sell goods with PND (pndbay )

Im hoping PND becomes more personal... Like adding a PND username inside your wallet wich is linked too your pnd adress...

Maybe optional anon technology for those who need that

ios wallet would be so good! not many crypto have one, and i would love to have pne 4 pnd

i try, but they dont undrstand why i interest in Pandcoin. hard to explain concept -_- they say too hard this, too hard that

I'm actually indifferent to anonymous transactions. It's good for deepweb transactions to buy illicit substances and all, but when I did a survey around my friends at college, none seemed to care about having anonymous transactions at all. And they fit the bill of the average end user that's not tech inclined.

If PND is to have success at achieving their slogan of "for the masses", they really need to design it for the masses, and not concentrate on pleasing the current crypto-crowd.

I think RTRC is on the ball here. Using PND like how we use traditional money is the way to appeal to the masses.

I hope the PND devs understand this (they seem to be, with their teasers for the August 30th release date), and not concentrate on crappy technological gimmics-so-called-ground-breaking-improvements that in reality, the end users (masses) will not even care about at all.

One thing you have to keep in mind is that we want to appeal to people beyond the current cryptospace. A tab with games in the wallet would have no added value to pandacoin, we support games and people can use the coin in games, that's all fine, but to implement it in the wallet doesn't really go with our vision.
