According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

These FANs are LOUD! so i changed for a these antec, the only ones i could find in my local BestBuy. The label say 2000RPM, not the best out there but the noise is down to 25dba. (compared to 60dba on the stock FANs.)

The noise has gone down but the temps are going up 60-70, vs 40-50 with the stock fans.

Anyone has any recommendation on not too slow but not too noisy FAN??

I understand that the lower the better but does anyone know the acceptable temp range of the Coincraft A1?

Update: As per amt_miner suggestion going with the BGears - B-blaster. Reviews coming in 2 days.

Got the BGears B-Blaster and have been working since yesterday at 50C-65C. which is a bit hotter, but tremendously less noisy.
My family is able to sleep again!!

What are the details if any for converting the rest of my miners into cloud option? Maybe add MPP to that? Are you considering this?

For the people that do get their miners, is it profitable at this point?

NO

I used the mining calculator at BitcoinWisdom.
If you start mining today with 1.2 GH, the model shows that you will earn 0.9527 bitcoin up to 12/31/14.  At that point, electricity costs will be greater than the mining yield and your ROI will become negative.  At today's exchange rate, 0.9527 bitcoin is $486.9.  Personally, if I was faced with those numbers, I'd try to sell it quickly on Ebay, and perhaps lessen the loss somewhat.  It sucks to pick the losing horse, but it happens to all of us

Check and confirm if we're on your "refund list" - if ever such a list existed. We're still waiting on our money.

Hey All,
One of my two miners are up and hashing. Here is what I've observed so far.
1. FANS:
These things are LOUD. I have 8 dragon miners in the same space, and the 1 AMT miner is louder, but let me explain this. The fans on this thing are ridiculous. There are 3 large fans mounted on the top, and you can feel the air from across the room. These are VERY effective at moving the heat out of my miner. Certainly does a better job of cooling compared to the dragons. Its as if they stuck a box fan in front of the miner, and directed it through the miner.
2. Speed:
This miner hashes as it should. On BTCGuild, I'm seeing about 1.27th. I haven't had a chance to test the miner for a long period of time because I got it today, but I'll update later. Seems to be running fine.

I took the miners side door off to see what's inside, and it seems like it is the same setup as the dragon miners, but with 5 modules instead of 4. the controller board that hooks everything together looks nicer than the dragons, and I like how the raspberry pi is mounted on the same side as the psu connector.

Seems like all of the modules were pretty cramped so they needed to bend the psu connector a bit. Didn't affect anything, but a little bit troubling:

AMT- feel free to use the images for whatever you find necessary.

Let me know if you have any questions, and I am eagerly awaiting my second miner.
And I know that there are going to be "why did you accept a package for a $1,200 miner that cost $6,000," My answer to that is receiving something now is better than nothing. Please don't argue with me as I am simply here to show off the miners and offer the help that I can.
Thanks,
mdiggy
Order #1275

Thank you for the pictures. We will be happy to hear back from you with more impressions of our the miners.

AMT, our order is #1266 we also ordered the 1.2 miner, is there any specific reason we have not received our miner or any contact yet while this individual has received his with a higher order number?

What would happen if I were to refuse the shipment? What steps would I have to take if AMT didn't refund my money?

No one is ever receiving a refund. You either join the existing lawsuit, or file your own.

Hasn't AMT stated numerous times that they have continued selling but under different company names?

Were some of those other companies ever identified?

When I was younger we didn't have behavioural disorders. They called it "being a brat". It was as simple as that!

Wow! At $899 you should send 6 1.1TH/s miners to each order that paid ~$6,000 for one 1.2TH/s miner. You know, since you took so long to deliver a working product.

Oh by the way, I still haven't received my order that was shipped on 7/29. You should really say something to DHL for not delivering promptly. I know my second order is not on it's way because I know AMT Lies. That should be an album name - AMT Lies.

Order 580 and 650.

Also not NDA material. Purely my customer relations regarding an order placed long before that association began.

I need to e-mail them and see if there is a tracking number for my PSU.

Hello AMT,
As an update I have the following:

1.   Top card never turned on so its most likely dead.
2.   Second card hashes at a lower value. This is the card whose heat sink is a little off from one side.

Should I go ahead and send back the top card and get a replacement? Its not doing anything sitting in the unit. Also do you have any steps on reseating the heat sink on the second card? Or should I just not touch it?

      Let me know,

Thanks in Advance!
