The polo trollbox says they fixed the bug.  My deposit from last night showed up.

Also, I've submitted another pull request to add hash rate reporting to simpleminer.  People mining on pools should use this in part to find a pool that responds rapidly and lets them have a high hash rate -- performance is still very pool-specific, and part of that depends on the latency between you and the pool.  Pool owners might try using this as a way to tweak their settings, too.

The changes that cubydu made seem very helpful, btw.  I'm able to get over 260kh/s on that pool (vs a bit over 300 solo) on an i7-4770.  I also didn't see the same kind of disconnect/reconnect problems that were happening yesterday.  I'd encourage other pool owners to look at those changes and apply something similar.

Thank you! Smiley I can share pool config if someone needs

Holy coin!  I bought this coin a few days ago to have some cryptonote in my portfolio and XMR was too expensive.  I've doubled my money in two days!  This is the best I've ever done.  I'm pointing my miners to this coin.  The few comps I have.  When will the GPU miner be ported over?  I have a few rigs wasting hash on X11 clones.

I'm new to Crypto but from what I have learned this is the best implementation for anonymity.  I really like Monero but it's too expensive for me to get into.  Plus BBR looks like it has a better long term dispersal.

Cudo's to the dev.

So, it appears this is a closed source project now? Why is this thread still going. They stated they've improved x11 and can mine monero. So what is the point of this, if no releases anymore..

you can earn TalkCoin, JackpotCoin at great advantage over AMD and with good profitability. Why the complaints?

Yes we mine XMR, BBR and make a killing. Not ready to share yet. We're not even using ccminer for this.

Christian

good point..

will do this now take and assembly and hit with with a powerful rig.. boolberry is is the only crypto night I have 0 accumulation,  rest that you have mentioned I have serious position in,. using NVIDIA rig.. and the man has proven himself in riecoin stand by

Prof. Andersen,
Any chance of solely compiling the simpleminer (without the wallet and daemon stuff) without boost 1.53? I only have boost 1.52 on my system and don't have permission to update to version 1.53.
Thanks in advance.

Hello friends.

I want to share some intermediate results of work on GUI, just to let everyone know in what direction we are moving.

A lot of work on integrating currency core and daemon stuff into qt is done. Now we can go much quicker.
Daemon now is able to show the state information in GUI, so it's the first part of work, obviously not really usable without wallet functions, but was very important from technical point of view.
Want to notice one more time: wallet functions is not enabled yet, i'm publishing this just to show concept.

I've uploaded binary for windows and put link to our downloads page: http://boolberry.com/downloads.html (notice: this is not windows-only GUI, it's desgining as completely cross-platform qt-based GUI).

Static build is not setup yet, so there is just a bunch of dll's, that should be enough to run binary.

Few words about conception: for UI rendering i use WebKit(web browser engine, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebKit), that is provided by qt as qtWebKit library. You could see folder "html" in qt-daemon archive, so UI is represented as a full-featured html page, that is actually interacts with C++ code by using qt "signals" and "slots". This approach will help us to improve interface with nice appearance and fast implementation.
You may do some experiments with GUI by changing html, and if you have any ideas how to improve it - you could share your html versions with screenshots - it could be easily included into Boolberry, since currend design is just a draft.

Little trick, if you pass this parametr to GUI, you'll get both and GUI and console:
Code:
qt-daemon.exe --alloc-win-clonsole

For those who is lazy to download binary i've attached screenshots:

GUI branch om github: https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry/tree/GUI

I love the new HTML approach to the wallet...
To "help us to improve interface with nice appearance and fast implementation"...
BBR price is rocking because:

(a)  BBR first with official GUI wallet (though just a "draft")

(b)  we are seeing some real creativity from the BBR team

(c)  Monero is Low Hanging Fruit, baby... the CN space is totally up for grabs

This is not tested well - can you try it out on your own pool for a bit before I submit a patch for it?

I need to make it more robust before I actually submit a pull request for it, but if this basic change works, I'll do so tomorrow.

ok - I've pushed a fix to my own repo:

https://github.com/dave-andersen/boolberry/commit/540cd041e9a577d5362a625dd43a896a64a22c89

However, I'm concerned - this might be interacting poorly with the pool software in some way, and I think we should look at it in more depth before pushing it to the main repository.

The pool seems to drop the share difficulty after the expired block submission, which kinda makes sense in an abstract way, but the diff was already super-low, and this just causes the clients to be even less efficient.

I think this fix is "safe" (but not optimal), but we need to think about the pool software's difficulty adjustment algorithm.

@LucasJones?
