https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1611499.msg18419199#msg18419199cross posted here Boolberry Network Address March 30th 2017Most of the discussion on Boolberry happens on the slack channels. If you are looking for the latest information on Bitcointalk or Reddit, then you won't see it. The Bi-Weeklies are primarily a synchronization and summary of whats happened on the various slack channels and communication portals, over the last two weeks. MarketsPoloniex deposit and withdrawals are still down, and this is still Boolberry’s most liquid market. Crypto_Zoidberg has sent Poloniex support some information now. Roadmap ValidationIn September, the roadmap presented by the Blockchain Development Company stated information about compensating full nodes via a masternode like system. http://www.blockology.org/s/BoolberryOpportunityRoadmap-BlockchainDevelopmentCompany.pdfA concept called masternodes has been tried on other networks, and it is a hybrid form of Proof of Stake, while the mining nodes maintain a Proof of Work system. Masternodes are an optional form of full node that also maintain a certain balance in the associated crytocurrency. So for example, a full node that has 100 BBR (an illustrative example) in its address would be eligible to report to the network as a masternode and earn more Boolberry for its participation in the network. Masternodes would also be subject to additional criteria such as being highly connectible, having low down time, and more. Other passive full nodes could function without the complying with the criteria. Masternodes will allow BBR holders to earn dividends on their BBR holdings. This means there would be no immediate reason to sell a stake in BBR, as it will earn an income for you, and masternodes can become a competitive business where new speculators will tolerate lower and lower margins at a higher cost of buying a masternode.
The reason other networks don’t attempt to compensate nonmining nodes is because the concept has theoretical flaws, which have not happened anywhere yet, but have deterred other networks from pursuing implementation. Specifically the concept of a sybil attack, or other method where people try to game the system.
Since that time, the market has rediscovered masternodes on some other cryptocurrencies and this is validation for the roadmap and foresight the Blockchain Development Company has. Crypto_Zoidberg has also stated interest in a staking system on Boolberry in the past. Due to the fact that Boolberry and other networks have no use for masternodes, but still wish to compensate full nodes, there is a treasury concept that has been presented on the Ethereum blockchain which could be more useful here. Use this as confidence that the Boolberry developers are ahead of the market in terms of steering Boolberry into what it can be as a valuable asset.

Is there an issue with the network? I tried to install and reinstall the .exe from the .com site. Ive tried on two different win7 machines and no luck. The gui just hangs on the connecting screen for hours now. Zero connections. I even tried to install on a linux mint machine. I think I tried to run it with ./boolbd and in the terminal it said something like can't find any connections. What am I doing wrong? I've been able to run this a year or two ago. Why is the .exe not working. Pretty frustrated with this program right now. Connections 0 Height 1 Difficulty 1 Network hash rate 0 Edit. Update: https://www.reddit.com/r/boolberry/comments/5rhvq3/connecting_to_bbr_peers_for_the_first_time/Seems maybe seednode list needs updating. Am using these instructions at moment. Hopefully success.

Scratchpad is getting close to 256 MB limit so don't be late in case you are using my miners (and check the size if you are mining with something else too).
Thanks for the update. I also noticed this (from your miner): [2017-04-11 14:45:54.812] [GPU1] Device: GeForce GTX 750 [2017-04-11 14:45:54.812] [GPU1] Total device memory: 979 MB [2017-04-11 14:45:54.812] [GPU1] Maximum buffer size: 244 MB
So I guess this one won't be mining BBR for long. My other Nvidias seem to have the same 1/4 ratio of max buffer size to total memory. AMD looks a bit better in this regard: [2017-04-11 14:53:10.171] [GPU0] Platform: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing [2017-04-11 14:53:10.171] [GPU0] Device: Tahiti [2017-04-11 14:53:10.171] [GPU0] Total device memory: 3002 MB [2017-04-11 14:53:10.171] [GPU0] Maximum buffer size: 2100 MB
Something to keep in mind if you're looking for bargain GPUs for mining. Or maybe there's a workaround?

POLONIEX DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS ARE RE-ENABLED
Clintar2 has a working LMBD version of Boolberry, no release date yet, stay tuned and positioned accordingly.
@BoolberryTeam on Twitter and it has 69 followers, crypjunkie has been managing that via our Hootsuite account.

Again, I still want to know how this is different from Monero and Dash. It's really undervalued right now.
Dash is a Bitcoin clone. Monero I think have different algorithm CriptoNight instead of Wild Keccak. Monero have way more development. DASH dont really need much development since have most code copy/pasted from BTC. Dash since BTC clone will never have much more anonymity that you will be able to get with Bitcoin. Monero and Boolberry after long development could reach some high state of anonymity. Monero needs Autumn hardfork and Kovri, so soon TM

Is here any kind of masternode, please?
If yes: 1. What is ROI of masternode? 2. What is masternode earning calculation formula? 3. Is there masternode stats page? 4. How many masternodes exist? 5. What kind of unique technology is here in comparison to Dash or PIVX?
Thanks.

With respect to all investors in Boolbery. I don't aim to spread fear and panic. Most of you will oppose me, but this is the most laziest developed project I ever seen. The website ascend from prehistoric era, the desktop wallet consumes all my RAM and stuck, a lot of words and no real advance. The only "amazing thinkg" happen here for months is the accepting of X insted of B in the name + the myth to return of zoidberg. It is normal Poloniex to delist something that doesn't evolve for such a long period of time. Good luck to all Berry investors. Don't panic I am sure you will have your time. Best Regards: Embat
