@cryptohunter, is this what you had in mind? We can fill in blanks and adjust details as necessary:

BBR Crowdfunding Template Rough Draft

Our crowdfund will be escrowed using a 2-of-3 multi-signature address.

Please do not send funds directly to this address!

The key holders will be
1. ________
2. ________
3. A well known established escrow

Both escrows will be receiving ________ BBR from the development fund released in batches matching how the funds raised from the crowdfund are released to us.

Verification Post for Keyholder1 : ________
Verification Post for Keyholder2 : ________

Keyholder1 and Keyholder2 received ________ BTC each for their escrow fee

We want to assure investors we are committed to working on this project through thick and thin. As such, we have set certain goals for which much be reached before the release of funding. We will not be receiving the entirety of funds from escrows at the end of the crowdfunding!

Release of funding will go as follows after the escrows are paid:

10% following the conclusion of the crowdfunding after all funds are accounted for
10% after the launch of our initial full node
25% after the the public api 1.0 release to build 3rd party tools for BBR platform
30% after the release of BBR GUI with low RAM consumption and basic core functionality
25% after the first major update / hard fork to implement XMR functionality

This allows us to receive a fair amount early on and gives investors the security of knowing that the escrows are in possession of the funds until we have completed key components of the BBR project. While we may decide to remain anonymous with our identities we can remain transparent with our work, development and finances.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Yes, well just anyway of generating funding for BBR to move forward at a faster pace.

So long as it has a full ledger and is paid for milestones reached at a price agreed before hand I think that is the way to go.

No point saying xmr is doing great without a % dev tax. They have some hugely wealthy financial backers that pay for it all that already hold vast swathes of the currency. BBR does not have this luxury.

I think it makes sense to give up 5% -10% of the future minting to get development rolling and increase the value by 1000% - win win.

Let's just get on with asap before BBR is left in the dust behind another 20 anon projects with larger and better funded development teams.

I think an ongoing mining tax would be an interesting component of compensation for the dev team. Do the miners think that 5-10% is acceptable?

Maybe we need to also add to the list the LMDB work, which CZ said was crucial

Hello folks - I am new to Boolberry and have gotten pretty far in the past few days.  I am using mbkuperman/boolberry-opencl/boolberry-opencl-0.3.0.41b-windows-x64.zip.

I set up the batch file parameters as such:

boolbd --start-mining=1GRH8NPawnfh6xLwptNumsJxZyZwSXJARUJrVgerfppjfkkrR9mexZ7h49YX5m5WutYL7gkokS2btUvUrgqDTwyoUsZzshy --mining-threads=2
pause

I set up miner_conf.json as such:

{
  "current_extra_message_index": 0,
  "donation_decision": false,
  "donation_decision_made": false,
  "donation_descision": false,
  "platform_index": 1,
  "thread_delay": 2000
}

Does anyone know why I cannot get the 2nd GPU to work?  I have no problem with miner0 but miner1 always fails.

System Info - Windows 10 Pro 64bit, Intel i5, (2) EVGA GTX 1070's

Thank you - pokeytex

Is that donation "descision" typo error?

Better to use cudaminer in linux or boolberry easyminer in windows. Cudaminer link : https://github.com/clintar/bbr-cudaminer

Easyminer link :
https://github.com/clintar/cpuminer-multi-opencl you might need clintar's help to compile for windows

LOL - I just copied it from the web.  However, I will be more than happy to donate when someone gets me up and running across all of my rigs.  I need to know how to get all gpus mining as well as multiple rigs to the same wallet?  I will check out the links you posted.  Ty - pokeytex

BBR is climbing up a lot nowadays, is it a temporary festival or it will be going up in the long term? And good news made that pump? Thanks for sharing the news.

I can't sync the chain, tried with windows old zoidberg executables and with the rune edition under linux.

boolbd --seed-node 5.9.44.154:10101

or

qt-boolb --seed-node 5.9.44.154:10101

doesn't work.
