There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I am mining with 500k to 250k hashrate since launch (I switched of some rigs for power consumption) and I got 2 blocks.

I think you just have to be patient.

Congratulations,  Smiley I suppose it is a very capricious currency for mining - if my cpu did not found any block from 22-15 gmt 17 may, it is pointless to keep trying with only one i7. Good luck with it  Cheesy

With 26G diff you find on average one block every 24 hours with hash rate of 300000.

I was informed of this project just yesterday.

From what little I have seen this is a very serious effort.

testnet? most coins just go gun-ho realnet and whatever happens.

REAL anonymity? Dark coin is strugling to implement something that is not close to this.

I believe that this coin has a brigh future, and people should support it for what it brings to the table.

Serious warning:

If you create your wallet file on windows and want to access it on mac, you must be very careful. I can not do it atm
If you want to access it on mac just remove file wallet.bin (!!!DON'T TOUCH WALLET.BIN.KEYS FILE!!!)
Should work ok.

But, it seems that we need to refactor this. Will try to solve this issue with GUI version.

Block reward is different from testnet. Now at 17.4. How many coin in circulation in total?
Just moved a decimal point, to be more usual and clear, bitcoin-like.

How do you think the blockchain is progressing thus far?

I have to tell you I am very excited with your coin.

Do you think pool mining will be possible?

Pool mining is definitely possible. It's just be different from usual protocol, like stratum.
Btw, i'll help with protocol implementation if anyone is going to start pool.

just wanted to point out something
i have an old i7 bloomfield its hash rate is twice as high as my brothers who has an i7 sandybridge.
can someone comment as to why this maybe the case.

also: am able to open upto 16 threads on a quadcore i7 bloomfield. is this correct.

also I have been mining since launch and have not found a block.

thanks.

How much are you getting on each architecture per thread?

i do not know per thread

but on sandybridge i get 190k
on bloomfield i get 230k

with 100 percent cpu usage

on the bloofield if i mine 8 threads i get 230k
if i mine on 16 threads i get 230. no difference between 8 threads or sixteen threads on teh quadcore bloomfield

Follow us on Twitter!

Boolberry has been added to The CPU Coin List.

There is a LOT of info missing. Can someone tell me premine, total supply, block reward, etc?
