It looks like the price of BBR and Monero are officially relative to each other, coming from my perspective as a trader.
BBR is better than XMR , BBR will be more valuable than XMR

Guys, the official boolberry forum http://boolberry.com/forum/  is overrun by spammers.

Christian

I was cleaning that up yesterday. Deleted over 3000 accounts and many of the posts. The rest will be gone today.

Not for now. We need to build things first. Exchanges come later (or should, not that we can stop them if they so choose).

more or less retired.

I am having this strange issue where my wallet doesn't sync up, just says updated and still shows my old balance. So I tried running the daemon independently, that gets stuck at the connecting to P2P3/P2P8. Trying to refresh balance also doesn't work. I have tried this in the older 22 and newer 24 version.

Still having problem?

If so, what OS? Are you using command line only? When is the last time you synced up normally?

so much for cryptonote egalitarian mining...

As I've stated enough times, I think this is overblown, but I hate that this is a hammer being used against a coin when people can't find an actual argument based upon technical or economic merits.  So:

if there's not a stratum implementation available within 1 week to allow cbuchner1 to demonstrate his follow-through with open sourcing a miner, I will create one (clarifying:  a GPU miner, not a stratum. grin.  i'm not that masochistic.), integrated with simpleminer.  It won't be pretty, it will be a horrible hack to get it to compile (I'm cmake-clueless), but in a form that someone with c_z's expertise will be able to integrate more cleanly.

I'll start on the core of this now and post some regular updates.

(But please please please - someone do the stratum integration instead.  There's a lovely bounty waiting for you if you do.  The resulting product will be a much better tool for everyone to use, and I'd rather spend my time doing things that I actually believe are beneficial for BBR, not just combatting an overblown claim being used by detractors.)

This is really great!

I bet 100BBR on that we (me and archit ) finish stratum faster than you finish your GPU.
Do you accept ? ( maybe it is not really fair betting since i don't know scope of work on gpu miner, but finally, in any case we both wins Smiley )

This coin is getting exciting!

BBR looks like one of the shining gems in the scene right now!!!  Wink

We've overlooked the cross-QT platform, which has been integrated into the review.

Why does this site give so much importance to popularity?

Doge and Blackcoin rated higher than XMR and BBR? Because the devs are working on foundations and innovation instead of marketing? Please.

I have to admit that they partially right about website and promotion.
I'm focused now on solving stratum/gpu issue, but next priority things todo is:
1. Redesign website (Bitcrea + webdev)
2. Explain BBR features in normal article in human language
3. Make binaries for MacOS and Linux to let start with BBR as easy as it possible.
4. Start to promote in twintter facebook etc

It's still a silly criterion for rating cryptos, at least as far as putting it on the same level as usability and solid coding. Just take your time with it and the marketing should do itself.

Join the chat on IRC

The official Boolberry IRC channel is #boolberry on freenode.

Quick IRC Intro
Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is the internet’s original Instant Messaging (IM) system. There are many ways to access IRC such as through your browser or a stand alone client.

IRC runs on servers (also called networks) and these servers have channels where the conversations take place. In our case we are interested with the server chat.freenode.net and the channel #boolberry (channel names start with #).

The easiest way to start IRC is use freenode’s webchat in your browser. Go to https://webchat.freenode.net/, enter a nickname, the channel name, and the captcha.

Most people prefer to use a dedicated client and there is one for almost any device that connects to the internet. There is a long list of clients on Wikipedia or you can just search on G. Find one for your operating system and give it a try.

Note – I use Quassel on Linux and Windows.
