Why is my daemon log showing so many "BLOCK ADDED AS ALTERNATIVE ON HEIGHT ____"? Does anyone have any idea about this?

My antivirus program really does not like the new monero wallet, it throws out all of the files because they are a threat...did more people have that?

It's a known "issue". I'd advise to create an exception for the folder / directory of the Monero software. |

Everyone should donate how much can afford for this great. After Monero has great future after latest move on getting approval for privacy based coins just opened way for Monero as well. It is best thing happened which will have wider impact and results for anonymous projects.

How I wished Monero was listed on Gemini instead of the scam zcash... guess the premine was able to pay the listing from Zcash. Sad that they have to take an non anonymous coin over Monero

I think we need some sort of scammy guy, preferably named Evan, who owns like 70% of the currency supply so that he can fund endless marketing campaigns for us. |

Wow, a monero hardware wallet is just what we need, I hope this gets funded asap, I will donate some when I next access my cold wallet which is quite a chore, can't wait for a user friendly storage device, the last piece of the monero puzzle for me! |

It is time tested privacy assuring coin and that's why I will prefer to stick with this instead of jumping on others. I am sure having such large community raising of funds shouldn't be big problem though isn't easy. This campaign of donation need to be promoted at large scale to let people know that Monero needs their support to get next milestone.

If you are using the monero GUI wallet in version 0.12 , you do not need to download the blockchain , you can simply use a remote control if you want .
And this can cost you your coins, there is a tradeoff in security. If you plan to use a remote node then VET it!!! Just got a 1 TB hard drive, Is a full Monero node from an external hard drive running a good idea ?
Sure, you can run it from a thumb drive if you want. |
