Thanks. This version opens up the monerod console with the GUI. IIRC, one of the early versions did this which had been fixed up to v0.12.0.0.

It is not very possible in the near future. It will take long time if it does happen.

Very detailed guideline for MONERO community. Thank you for releasing this one, dBRYUNE. I am waiting for the next version, which can directly support Ledger. For now, simply enjoy this current version.
Best wishes for MONERO community in the year of 2018.

Do you think that this will happen to all privacy coins? You MUST consider any government as a PASSIVE SERVICE. Otherwise you'll become the slave quickly. This is a fundamental level of biological evolution of primates as well as high animals. Given an isolated group of primates, the RANK distribution is being formed very fast. So the alpha-males with highest rank become GOVERNMENT that dictate their wishes to the rest of primates. We are humans. Don't let animal laws work in our human society. So: GOVERNMENT IS JUST A PASSIVE SERVICE. Start to think so. Meanwhile, Visa, Mastercard, etc. are registering patents related to the ANONYMOUS BLOCKCHAIN silently (did you know?!): https://www.ccn.com/mastercard-wins-patent-for-anonymous-blockchain-transactions/https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/mastercard-gets-anonymous-blockchain-payments-transactions-patent/While you are afraid, THEY DO because they CAN.

This is a bug, which fortunately is fixed in this PR: https://github.com/monero-project/monero-gui/pull/1452A temporary work around is to either edit or delete the Monero related config file that is present in ~/.config. Note that the latter option will also delete any other persistent settings. Well done, dEBRUYNE. You fixed the bug very fast after it was announced by @bitebits. Monero community really need active, proficient members like you. Another potential boosting factor for Monero at the moment is its price chart, which shows that Monero has probably found its bottom. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/

I guess they are going to be the "Rambus" of the 2020's, maybe this will save their shit CC. I wonder if I can by any stock? That patent is worth a butt ton of gold between institutions if it holds up in civil court. Even decades behind the curve this is how the scumsucking bankers corner markets.

I don't think we are close to this so don't be too optimistic. Great interview with Fluffypony, check it out. https://youtu.be/KqhRZfKRriU These are topics they talked about: What did FluffyPony do before Monero(XMR), What did you think of BTC at first, How did you find Monero(XMR), What is Monero, Who invented Monero(XMR), What is your current role at Monero(XMR), How is the Monero community different from BTC, Technical differences between XMR and BTC, How is XMR different from other privacy coins, Will Ai have an effect on privacy coins, What is the future of privacy coins, Have you had any problems with regulators, How would you describe why you are in this, Normal people like fiat money, ICO and DAPs, Digital assets on XMR, Your view on ASICs, What does your shirt say, Why so few wallets, XMR max supply, Future risks of using privacy coins, Calvary and bulletproof + Tor integration, Price prediction, Do you think the tech will keep up with the market, SHOTS fired Shots fired lol EOS, Thoughts on Dan Larimer, XMR fees (And what dogs does FluffyPony have) ----> all credits for this goes to Ozzy Bogan Tech on YT, you can also find this timeline with timestamps in comment section.

BTC has already shifted to a store of value which monero has never tried to become, Yet it seems it may become that. Both were initially designed to be used as a currency.

Finally, GUI v0.12.2.0 appeared and actually works, checked. It is a pity that for so long dev updated. But the cyclical troubles with the sound remained (win10) In the working condition, you do not want to keep the wallet for a long time, the sound hangs periodically, with such a problem, the purse mining or network support is not real. I hope dev will solve this problem. Thank you dev for your work.

What is the equation of amount of XMR mined per block? I found this. But by any number of A, the amount of mined coins per block is way too less. For example now the current circulation is about 16 000 000 XMR, so by that the equation gives coins mined per block 0,00000000019073486328125 What I do not understand? What is the right formula?

You have to multiply A with 10^12. In addition, the formula has to be multiplied by 2 to account for the block time change (from 1 minute blocks to 2 minute blocks). The formula is described in more detail here: https://getmonero.org/2017/12/11/A-note-on-fees.html
